Great shop for a remote spot like Boulder Creek. I have no idea why other reviews may be less than 5-stars; I've never had an issue in this place, they have a great selection, and good prices. If you're not from around here, the closest stores for slightly lower prices are over 45 minutes away. If you are from around here, this is the place. Booze, smokes, beer, snacks... this is the place to go. Also no one has blinked an eye at a transgirl buying japanese whiskey in the mountains of Santa Cruz, so this is the place to go, no question. read more

BC Liquor is that store you find once in a lifetime. The Owner is approachable and can get just about any bottle you're looking for. Whether it's for a gift or that bourbon you can't find anywhere anymore that you want to sip on. BC liquor will find it and WILL not overcharge you or take advantage. I absolutely love this store. Amazing selection and always expanding selection. The whiskey and tequila options are great and include hard to find bottles. Manny the owner is very approachable and easy to work with. You can tell he puts his customers first. He special ordered me a bottle of harder to find whiskey with no mark up/extra fees. As a Boulder Creek resident, I love supporting businesses downtown. BC Liquor is one of those businesses that is a gem to have here. The selection of bourbon is top notch. All that "Hard to find bottles" stuff heard online.... BC Liquor had them before so called influencers started talking about them. Prices are most definitely competitive and not obscenely marked up. In fact, I met with the owner for a large request that included three cases of popular sought after bourbon and some other special bottles. BC Liquor made it happen. Now the I can continue the gifting to the team around me. If you drive through Boulder Creek, make sure BC Liquor is somewhere you stop. My first experience this place walking in it was hard to navigate with their cluttery aisles with boxes stacked up around them. I was going to let the gentleman go ahead of me to pay and I ended up tripping / stumbling over all their boxes that were in the way . Then they all conspired against me three of them accusing me of being drunk after they asked for my ID they were trying to find a reason to refuse service to me . After I asked them if they thought I was drunk they were nodding their head yes I was Furious and did not purchase anything and I would recommend no one to go in there and purchase anything from this place that accuses people of being drunk in the morning , when they are obviously not but may have tripped over the boxes in the overstocked cluttery store. read more

A small town liquor store feel. The wine selection is wonderful. There is a wide selection of liquor types too. The employees make me laugh every time I am in there. They are opened pretty late for night runs. I visit whenever I am in town to say hello and to grab a snack and bottle of wine to share with friends. read more

When we pass through the scenic town of Boulder Creek we stop here. An easy pull up, grab a 6 pack of beer, and head to my in-laws for family gatherings. Love the variety of beer and convenience of the location. Plus, we can hop over to New Leaf and get some shopping done for the week. read more

If you are in the Boulder Creek area, avoid this shady liquor store at all costs. They are price gougers to the max. A bottled Starbucks coffee was $5 but the sticker said $2.50 then when the wife asked the husband, all of a sudden he said $7. Since I knew what was happening, my colleague and I left empty handed. Even though we had to drive a couple miles up the road to find another spot, we are glad we did because at that store the price we saw was the price we paid. Neither the owner nor cashiers wear a mask, get angry and defensive when asked to wear one.

It's not very nice to walk into liquor store wearing a dodger cap and the teller tells you that " your not welcome" all because of the cap I am wearing. Such bullshit maybe your place should be nicer to The Customers and they will buy more. I decided not to purchase any liquor there because of the harassment from your employee! Over it and treat people with respect no matter what they are wearing! read more

This is my dog's favorite liquor store. They let him come in and they give him a treat every time. One of the girls who works there was the first one to teach him "paw". They have a decent selection. They take local checks. One of the ladies who works there is very into the local cat rescue and they sell used books in there towards that cause. Very small town and nice people. read more
