I grew up here and have two family beach houses walking distance to this store. When we went to pick up wine for the weekend, the worker informed us he was closed at 11:00pm, it was 10:50 and he waved his hand st us to leave. I will never go there again after such ride treatment and because they clearly don't value any customers if they chase away people at 10:45 on a Friday night in August. I will make sure to notify everyone renting our houses also. I hope the owner gets the message and starts to care about the store in such a great location. Don't bother to go. They close at random times and treat people rudly. read more

By Far, my most favorite liquor store. I mean, I try em all out, but this one is convenient, and affordable. They already have good prices, but they always have these little in store sales that really make it more affordable to get drunk. The people who work here are very nice, and if you regular you start to develop that "regular customer/business owner" type of relationship that makes for a very friendly and comfortable transaction. I have an emergency. They say the store opens at 9am. No one is answering the phone. NO ONE. So then I had to limp over there on my crutches as I am recovering from ACL surgery to see if someone turned in my wallet (as that was the last place I was at yesterday) and the lady was like, sorry I didn't work here last night. I asked if there was a safety box she could check, anything. Can she call the person that worked the night before? Anything.....She says no sorry they would have set it on top of the register. "Ok. You mean to tell me if someone drops or leaves their wallet behind you set it ON TOP of the register? You don't have a safe? You don't put it INSIDE the register? A lost and found? A break room? ANY place else but ON TOP of the register?" "No sorry." that is all she could say. Come back later, I wasn't here sorry. I said, well next time maybe answer your f*cking phone so I don't have to waste my time and recovery. "Ok have a good day, bye"..... Wow. TERRIBLE customer service. Seriously the worst. side note I did find my wallet, but that is beside the point that this place is AWFUL. read more

Good selection of wines and beers. Fairly reasonable prices on most items (6-pack of Sierra Nevada Torpedo was $8.99), but baffled as to why the Stone IPA was $16.99. I am disabled and use an electric wheelchair. I entered the store in my chair, and immediately the man working behind the counter rushed up to me and blocked me from moving forward. He told me that I needed to leave because my chair might knock merchandise off the shelf. I am appalled! I will never come back here. read more

Not even worth a star-went in for Buzen ready to eat food. I went to freezer area where food usually is. Wasn't there clerk was yapping on her personal pink cell phone- I asked her where the food was. She pointed in the rear so I walked down and I just saw alcohol. Nicely I said "excuse me " no response so I said it again. She could care less as I was walking out and she said thank you for your help. I said I asked for your help twice and she said "You have eyes" I was beyond shocked and I told her this is customer service you should be helping me-I asked her if she is the owner and she said yes. I don't believe her I know who is and I am going to do whatever I can to get her fired no one should be treated like that. I told her she was a bitch and I stand by it. read more

I love across the street and have been here twice. I noticed a lot of booze, which is awesome, more tiny bottles than I've ever seem anywhere else which was interesting. Customer service is impersonal, the lady is intimidating and kinda seems shady. Cigarettes are outrageously priced! Don't go here unless your very lazy AND desperate. read more

Dishonest, count your change before you leave! He got me for $1.25. Let's start with saying "hello" or "good evening" when you look at a customer as they walk in and not just stare at them. Take a class on customer service. None of the single bottled beers are priced and for good reason, because if you knew the price before you got to the register you would realize what a rip off this place is. One 24oz Sierra Nevada, $4.25, my local liquor store, $2.99. Gave him a $20 and got $14.50 back in change as he vacates from the register as fast as he could. I am perplexed at the rating. Beer Prices seem real high. And I really hate shopping for something and there are no prices under the Items. How much do you pay? This is not an online store where you see the price in the cart!!! Wine prices were varied, some high some average. Tobacco prices Medium high. The owner and one employee (lady with glasses) are the rudest, most inconsiderate people. They are negative, and have the worst customer service. They want to argue with you and tell you that you are wrong. The aren't helpful with lotto and God forbid you don't scratch off the register no. to make it easier for them. They are the only store where I have been asked to do this. They need to get a grip and treat their customers better. I am taking my business elsewhere--you get what you deserve -- none of my money, and and an F for customer service. read more
