It's a low-impact fitness and helps you stay active during pregnancy. Emily leads the class and encourages everyone to move how they feel comfortable! She switches up the routine every class so it's never the same! I've enjoyed taking time away to focus on myself, my growing body, and my baby during these classes. Not to mention, the community of the class and being with other pregnant women in the area has cultivated a supportive environment where we can share our struggles, achievements, and our motivations throughout the pregnancy journey!

The instructor had the ability to both push you past your limits and encourage you for just showing up. With yoga, you use your body weight to exercise through various poses that help you strengthen your muscles. This studio makes your experience both physical and mental. I had one of my favorite Memphis yoga experiences here. They allow new visitors to try out the classes unlimited for two weeks at $35. They have in-person, online and private classes with 50, 60, and 80-minute formats for every level, beginner to advanced. The classes include Sumits-style hot yoga, tabata-style hot Pilates, a vinyasa style yoga flow, Ashtanga Short Form and Yin Yoga. They run 5:50 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sundays. Check them out. They seem like good people.

I bought a 6 month membership when I was pregnant, and the instructors did a great job of making accommodations for me. Amy and LJ both went above and beyond sending me an email of prenatal poses and sharing some extra research they did for me. There are a variety of classes- from challenging sweat and sculpt classes to more relaxing stretch classes. Instructors are knowledgable and never pretentious- great at challenging you while supporting people on different levels. The studio is beautiful and welcoming, and it's a fun excuse to be in south main. Anytime that I've reached out about something to the owners (scheduling, feedback on a suggested class) , they have been over the top accommodating. I even got put on bed rest for the last few months of pregnancy, and they let me save my last 2 months of membership for when I'd be able to do it. I'm sure according to the contract I signed, they didn't need to do this, so it was a really generous offer. I couldn't say enough great things about the studio, classes, or overall management of downtown yoga!
