Michael was the chef, and his presentations rival any Michelan rated chef. We had a four course tasting menu, and 5 wines, with bonus desserts at the end.  Every course was beautiful and delicious. Michael explains each food course, while our host Jessica explains the wine it is being prepared with. There wasn't a course that wasn't anything less than exceptional. However, if we had to choose, the real standout was the corn with winter mushrooms. The presentation looked like corn on the cob, but underneath there was a delicious creamy polenta, that surrounded by seasonal mushrooms.  We were informed that Chef Michael changes the menu regularly so no two experiences will be the same.

It looked like the patio deck was pretty new and the sun umbrellas were very welcome on this hot day. We went for a tasting (6 for $20) and bought a glass of the pinot gris. Allowed to bring your own snacks, always very appreciated, but they sell very reasonably priced snacks and crackers and charcuterie as well. The drive up to the tasting room is about a mile of gravel and maybe therefore it wasn't as busy as other vineyards in the area? Because the wines were good, but the service was absolutely excellent! She was attentive, helpful in making decisions, and very knowledgeable about the wines the winery offered. Even gave us good feedback whenever we were making our food decisions to not order too much pizza for our group size! The wines were great, and I was pleasantly surprised by several of them. The truffle hill wine - cannot recommend enough - along with the Bubbly Bee. I enjoyed everything that we had, but those two were big stars!
