If you are looking for a winery to go to this is a great place to visit, its out in the country with beautiful views. This is also a great place to have a wedding my cousin had her wedding her and it was awesome, with plenty of room outdoor and indoor with plenty of parking too.

This is one of THE most beautiful wineries in the US. The outdoor area is beautiful and well decorated, amazing location to host weddings etc and indoor decoration is just as great. The wine tastes great and the service is truly amazing. I'd highly recommend.

We stopped here for a tasting late in the afternoon. The place is beautiful. The buildings are relatively new, but they look timeless, with stone and wood. The day we were there they were holding the wine tastings in the larger area of the building because they had resealed the bar in the tasting room, which by the way, turned out beautifully. Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the winemaking, organics and biodynamics, as well as the history of the vineyard and family that founded it. The wine was really good, especially the pinot noir.

Alright, I'll be frank. I couldn't believe that their wines were this excellent quality. During my entire Labor Day weekend tasting in Willamette Valley, we handed over our information to become wine members. It was absolutely delicious for those who definitely appreciate and love wine. Don't get me wrong, finding the tasting room isn't easy but that didn't destroy quality of wine or customer service. Props to Dominic for his amazing knowledge and helping us get an appointment on a very busy weekend.

We stopped back here on Thanksgiving weekend. They posted a Facebook status that it was there last day of their Thanksgiving weekend party. Which was a good thing because I know they are normally closed on Sunday. In fact, Sunday's a great day to be open so Maysara folks, if you haven't changed your hours to include Sunday, please consider it. I have to rave about the new tasting room. I have never seen anything so fabulous. It's on past the original place where they used to have tastings and in a brand new building that is complete with covered parking. That is perfect for these Northwest days where we see much rain. Not to mention that fact that this winery's road is called Muddy Valley Road for a reason. The rock work on the walls is very beautiful and I'm sure not inexpensive. I tried to include a couple of pictures to show the true beauty of it all. Even the bathrooms adjacent to the tasting room had the rock work and the wooden plank counter tops. Truly nice indeed. Did I mention on the day we were they they had a deal that for twenty dollars you could taste five wines and taste some delicious food that paired well with the wine and you got to keep the attractive Maysara wine glass. It was very good and a nice little nosh that you normally do not receive with your wine tastings. I would give that five stars as well as the wine. A couple of things I didn't really like was they were a little eager to pour the wine so I felt a little pressure to down the taste I had and move on to the next one so that by the time I got done I had nothing to drink with the rest of the sample plate I had pieced together. I'll give them a break they were excited and eager to please so I get it but next time slow the pace down a bit more. One of the other odd things they did was to hand you a green ticket when you got there and then you hand it to the server at the end of the line. I didn't know what this was for but it was basically their way of counting everyone. Folks, figure out another system. I had my plate, glass and utensils filling my hands and had to dig through my pockets for this item only to find out it was their method of counting. How about a tick mark on a piece of paper when we walk in? Just an idea. The wine is very tasty and reasonably priced. You need to check out this new tasting room. It's worth the trip.

Just a snippet of the charm of Maysara

Loved the look and feel of this winery! Delicious wines and fascinating and inspirational background. Toni was very informative, funny and quirky in the best way! If I didn't live in NJ, I would be in the wine club here

This beer is a Kolsch and I always like this beer style due to it's lightness and crispness. That is no exception here with it's clean and floral flavor profile this is an excellent kolsch that I highly recommend if you like this beer style. Another favorite which I have had on more than one occasion is their Czech style Pilsner. Again, a very light beer in which I admire the clean, smooth, hoppy and dry flavors. I am a big fan of pilsners in general and this one is definitely my top favorite out of what I have tried from Heater Allen so far. I have had this beer quite a few times and always come back to it I like it that much. Another impressive beer that isn't any slouch is the Lenzbock, a Maibock style beer. This beer is a malty one but remains light and floral and has a bit of an essence of Spring to it. And then finally I have had the Marzen Lager which I highly recommend as well. Again a malty beer with sweet and subtle notes. I rate this beer very high on Untappd simply because it's a wonderful one to experience and drink. They also do collaboration beers. There was a great beer I had from Wayfinder Brewing, the Teriffica Italian Style Horror Pils, this beer is an Italian style pilsner which I highly recommend (at this point I just highly recommend everything) and loved immediately with it's dry, hoppy, bitter and honey flavor highlights I was instantly in love with it. Of course my instant fondness for it also had to do with their reference to Italian horror films which I am a big fan of with the concept and art for this beer. Heater Allen is a master of light beers and if you get a chance I highly suggest giving their beers a try. My beer drinking experiences with this brewery never, ever disappoint.

Beautiful restaurant, we really expected a bit of a crowd. We were seated and greeted, waters were provided with menus. We started our meal experience by telling our waiter that we planned to do a progressive dinner down 3rd Street. We were met with a rather disappointed / disheartened response. Their menu was absolutely stunning. Lots of great options. As this was our first stop of the evening, we went for an appetizer. The Albacore Confit absolutely out of this world. Ridiculously good. Huge portion, plated beautifully. Wonderful for the three of us to share. We all raved at how lovely the dish was. Drinks were absolutely fabulous. Gin martini was SOLID. My partner didn't care for his wine but it was a first-time try, that isn't the fault of the restaurant. The Dolores O'Riordan martini was absolutely wonderful. The bar was timely with drinks, which is always appreciated. Overall, ambiance, food, and drink were AMAZING! Absolutely a 5-star experience. However, service just did not slap. We could have survived with the disheartened response at us only staying for one-course but the end of our time with Grounded Table kinda kicked us all in the butt. As they handed me the check, we were met with "We hope you can join us for an entire meal sometime". The inflection was just catty and unnecessary. Trying to look past it, I continued to complete the check but after they departed the table, my dinner-mates both whispered under their breath "that did not just happen, how rude!" Meh, this could hae been the easiest 5-star review ever. The attitude of our server kinda blew the entire experience, the comment was unnecessary.
