If I find a decent one they usually don't last. Well I went to get my eyebrows and lip threaded yesterday, Tuesday, February 20. I checked in and saw there were only two techs there. Simi and Pretty. Well I had a bad experience with Simi previously. She left a huge bald spot in one of my eyebrows before so I decided to try Pretty. I don't recall ever seeing her name on the check in screen so I assumed she was new and selected her and waited for my turn. Few mins later it's my turn. I sit and tell her that my right eyebrow is slightly thinner than the left and she disagrees and says it's thicker and I said no it's not. It's thinner and I'm trying to grow it out. So she begins threading my right eyebrow and right away I felt like something was going wrong. It felt like she was taking way too much off. I could feel it. When she was all done with eyebrows and lip she hands me the mirror but I can't see too good without my glasses. I pay and leave. I get in my car and pull out my hand mirror to take a look and sweet Jesus what has she done? She completely butchered my right eyebrow. Shockingly my left one is not good but not hacked. It looks like she took a weed whacker to my right one tho. She went up way too high on the arch and thinned out the lower arch where I told her I was growing it out. It seriously looks like she threaded it blindfolded. There is no saving it. I'm hoping it can be somewhat back to normal within a few months. So really I just suggest if you get a good tech there stick with that one. Because they are so hit and miss and I would hate for anyone to feel like I felt after what she did to my eyebrow. I wanted to cry when I saw how bad it looks. I'm crying inside actually. Perhaps the owners need to pay their good techs more so they don't leave.

I previously had a hair stylist that is a massage client of mine who was in pain from a neck surgery & asked if I would barter hair services with massage services. Well she messed up my gorgeous silver grey locks & turned it a brassy yellow & gold. So at the appointment I told April that I wanted all off the yellow & gold gone. I continued to say that through out the appointment because she was only weaving a little bit of the hair into the foils & leaving some of the Yellow & gold. She didn't listen to me at all & did exactly how she wanted, not my requests. Plus during the whole ordeal she was extremely rough. She pulled my hair soo many times I lost count. Worst was at the wash bowl where she grabbed the towel & the top of my hair to lift me out of the bowl instead of asking me to sit up!!! The hair pulling them continued in her chair where she used a brush on my hair, pulling hard to get all the tangles out. I am not a hair dresser, but even I know you don't use a brush to brush out wet recently bleached hair! She told me that she needed to trim all the ends off since they were dry & split. Worst hair cut ever!! I asked for a gradual curve, shorter in front & longer in back. She cut the total opposite. The front is longer then the back & there are areas where the hair is longer then the rest of the section by almost 2 inches. After the hair was dried, I told her that the gold & yellow was still there. She stated that we can get that next time. She then proceeded to charge me $200 for something I didn't want. I called back after seeing all of the horrible stuff done to my hair & her remedy was for me to come in so she can put a toner on my hair. After she treated me so rough the very first visit when she wasn't mad at me, there was no way in heck I would let her literally jerk me around a second time. I have not gotten a haircut in 3 months given this covid19 environment, so once the stay home mandate was lifted, I scheduled right away. Being a super clean freak myself, you can rest assured with peace of mind that Lindsay has taken all the safety precautions by wearing a mask herself, sanitization practices and asking you to wear a mask too as looking out for everyone's safe health which is her wonderful customers and herself too.
