Schiler doing his thing.
Shanais V.

Came here to spend my birthday coupon. Had 1pm reservations for 3pm on a Wednesday. An hour later and we still were waiting for our food to begin cooking. The server was thorough and polite but waiting more than an hour, I could no longer hold my composure. It wasn't even busy. What is this?? The table next to use just sat down and within 10 minutes got their chef. I'm as annoyed as any could be. My passion fruit margarita was complete syrup. I could not even drink it even watered down. Let's see if the server comes back after being gone 45 minutes. Update: she came and was able to switch it but not comp it. I didn't even want a replacement but oh well. It's not the chefs faults. Schiler was quick and efficient. They remade my drink.ehhh management has to do better coordination. An afternoon birthday lunch just threw me off.

We were waiting so long for our cook that the ice melted

I have been coming to this Benihana for many years, but unfortunately my recent visits have been extremely disappointing due to the very poor service. My last visit a few days ago, we arrived at 8:45 PM and were seated at 9:10 PM, which was reasonable. Our waitress took our order at 9:20 PM, but we didn't receive our drinks until 9:35 PM. After that, things only got worse. At 9:30 PM we were told that our cook would be coming "soon," yet our chef didn't arrive at our table until 10:16 PM -- over an hour after we were seated. The only reason the cook finally came was because I had to speak with the manager to let them know we had been sitting there waiting for an hour. For a restaurant that runs on a timed dining experience like hibachi, this type of delay is completely unacceptable. The only bright spot of the evening was our chef. He was very friendly, took his time, and made sure our meals were cooked properly and seasoned well. He did a great job, and we appreciated the care he put into the food. However, it's clear that management needs to get things under control. This location gets extremely busy, but it does not appear that they have enough staff to properly handle the volume of guests. Over the years, the service at this location has unfortunately drastically deteriorated. Longtime customers notice these changes, and it's disappointing to see a once great dining experience decline like this. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements.

My family and I have been to Benihana's so many times and we have always enjoyed our birthday celebrations at the restaurant. This time I went with some classmates to celebrate one of our birthdays and I was disappointed not in the food. The food was delicious it was prepared great very happy with that. The chef, Schiler, that was cooking the entertainment was not there the upbeat the excitement the energy was definitely not there. There was another chef at another table in his name was Louis because I asked his name because he was entertaining the table. So I can say that the food was very good just the entertainment that I'm used to from Benihana's was not there anymore. The couple that was sitting to our right ordered their food with no salt and no butter . It was on the order and he still forgot and put butter on some of the gentlemen's food. The gentleman was very kind and just said don't worry you know I'll eat what I want but he clearly kept forgetting not to add any butter or salt to their portion of the food . Our waitress Alejandra was attentive she was funny she was good very good attentive professional. Not am entertainer. I've had better. Not the birthday exciting vibe.

Amazing lunch at the beautiful Benihana. Amazing views, elite staff and service spectacular. Food was really good and made fresh in front of you. Couldn't ask for a better lunch. Let me add that the lunch special was $15.95. Winning!

Well, I went back again. This time the Chef, Wesley, was at our table. He was not flashy but very friendly and funny. Also, he cooked everything delicious. Even the onion soup was good. Not like the last time. The place is beautiful with nice views but as I said, I miss the original one.

If I could leave ZERO I would ! This was the worst experience of a dinning experience of my life. We came at 2pm and leaving at 4 pm. The manager was absolutely no help with getting our chef out on time. I had to have 3 soups just to hold me over due to the time of the chef coming out. This was absolutely ridiculous and I will never return. Service was slow and management was terrible. Juan then at the end didn't know how many drinks I had. I let him know I only had one and the other drink should be on my friends tab. He didn't believe me so he makes me seek help from the bartender. Which is poor service. Also management was absolutely ZERO help! Anya she was no help with the her gust waiting over 40 mins for a chef and was zero help. Lastly they put guest by the cart of food which isn't food safe.

My dad took us to Benihana for my birthday on a Monday night (3/3). It's been over 20 years since I visited a Benihana. The last time I went was in Alaska, which was also on my birthday back then. Our party included four adults and a toddler. We did not have a wait to be seated. We sat around a grill with a couple who was also there celebrating a birthday. As with most restaurants, there was a high chair available and the toddler was provided with a sheet and crayons to color. Key takeaways: - The food was good and plentiful; we all had leftovers. However, when the lobster was cook, the grill should have been scraped off early since the burned remnants gave the lobster a burnt grill taste. - Service was good. As always, the cook was quite the entertainer. - The atmosphere was okay but I don't like how smoky it gets. You leave with your hair and clothes smelling smoky although the vents suck most of the smoke during the cooking process. Mandatory (free) valet parking (I'm sure the workers get tips, though). As it was a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded and there were a lot of empty parking spaces. However, the parking lot was blocked off and drivers were directed to the valet area.

Worst experience I have ever had Austin is terrible at the bar he should really consider another job I waited 57 mins for happy hour dumplings the cook was eating while he was cooking my food when I asked austin was he just eating the food I sent back he replied like it was the normals thing in the world yea I will not be returning to Benihanas ever Again terrible experience

Teppanyaki on Norwegian Escape was one of the best Japanese steakhouses I have experienced, with…read moresome novel tricks displayed by the grill master and including the biggest shrimp I have been served to date on a teppanyaki grill. All aspects of the meal and courses served were very professionally handled, prepared, and presented, from ordering drinks to receiving dessert. The dining room itself is composed of 8 grills that each seat 12, so 96 diners can be served simultaneously, in set seatings. Grill masters wear colorful red hats which at first glance I mistook for Santa caps. Our grill master, like the one at an adjacent grill, was very amiable and animated, and seemed to truly enjoy his job. We began with edamame and hot and thirst-quenching Miso Soup with dashi, tofu, and wakame, quickly followed by a Seaweed Salad with tasty Ginger Dressing. Then a huge portion of Garlic Fried Rice was prepared for 11 diners (only Diane opted for Steamed Rice, which accommodation was graciously granted). To the expressed amusement of all who saw it, my party observed a neighboring grill master attempt to flick an egg into his hat with a metal spatula but loft it too high, so it got stuck instead in the metal hooded vent directly overhead. This was like deja vu for me, because I observed the same result with a different grill master while cruising on the Norwegian Epic 6 years earlier--except with a grilled shrimp instead of an egg. Both grillers reacted to the misadventures good-naturedly, After another unbroken egg was capably propelled by a metal spatula into the top of our grill master's hat, and another uncooked egg was repeatedly hit up into the air like a loose paddle ball until it was speared on the edge of the spatula to crack the egg and drip its contents onto the grill below, a plastic chicken with moving hot feet suddenly appeared on the grill while at least six more eggs were cracked near it. Next, after the fried eggs were fully cooked, they were rolled together to take on the shape of an open-mouthed cobra that was poised to strike with the help of a fork deftly operated by the grill master. Then White Onion, squash, zucchini, and carrots were cooked and chopped on the grill just before proteins including raw Filet Mignon, Jumbo Shrimp, chicken breast, and large scallops were eased onto the hot grill for grilling. The hunks of medium-rare Filet I ordered were buttery and delicious, as were the shrimp, veggies, and Garlic Fried Rice. Separately poured sauces for the meat and seafood enhanced the enjoyment of the meal, as did two extra portions of Garlic Fried Rice that I was given. Diane's request for Teriyaki Sauce was cheerfully granted, and I was also supplied with two cups of hot Green Tea. Dessert was a choice of Green Tea Cake or Fresh Fruit Sashimi. I sampled the former, and found it to be a bit dry; but was greatly pleased with the latter, which included well-trimmed pieces of cantaloupe, honeydew melon, pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, and kiwi served with Coconut & Mango Dipping Sauces. Best of all, the per diner charge for the specialty dining meal just described was only $30.00 plus gratuity, a great deal by any measure!

You may have a quiet fun traditional hibachi dinner, or the craziest night of your life if the owner himself is serving you. The owner and another chef were rotating between tables and were really pleasant and fun! It seemed like not everyone was a huge fan of the owner and how honest he was about his political and personal views, but we found him fun, entertaining and the slightest bit unhinged in the best possible way. The food itself was very high quality for hibachi. We got the chicken and beef and were really surprised by even the basic beef option being high quality and cooked perfectly. The quality of the soups is much better too than other hibachi places and it's definitely a local favorite! If you don't mind socializing with other families and different personalities, this is a fantastic place to dine! Stop by and try it!
