My mom was craving breakfast being delivered this morning. So I said let me see what UberEats has to offer and we tried out this bakery. I'm so glad we did because the food is delicious. I ordered the original. Everything was fresh and warm. My Cuban bread perfectly toasted and buttered. My eggs were good and seasoned. My fries were crispy and good plus my bacon. Everything went well.I had the grilled chicken rice and beans and plantains. So delicious. The guava pastries are delectable. I bought four and ate two. And I gave the other 2 to 2 other people. They agreed with me.I ate in there. Then when i was leaving i got 4 more. That's how delicious they are.There's no comparison to any other place. Everything is made there. We made a quick stop here for some goodies for the weekend. We got a couple of chocolate chip cookies, red Velvet cookies, and a small cupcake style piece of chocolate Bundt cake to try. Service was good, and the ambiance was homey. Glad this bakery is in our area. read more

This bakery is near our hotel and it was our saving grace because we love the food! we did not have to uber anywhere far to eat since this is a walking distance away from us. They have a variety of food to choose from. Ready to eat bread, cakes, and empanadas. I loved the milanesa chicken because of the great flavor and the affordable price! I loved everything at this restaurant that we went 3 times during our stay! :) You can practically eat here for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even just for snacks. I have been here several times and lately it has been unpleasant which is unfortunate with CAO being my neighborhood bakery. The last time sealed the deal for me personally and honestly after reading the last review about them selling expired food, I should have steered clear. The South Beach location always welcomes me and even offers suggestions for my order. The cashiers there are great. At the North Bay Village location this just isn't the case. I was treated like I wasn't even there by "management" and no apology; see recent reviews. They know how to give take money from customers but have no clue how to deal with refunds. This is what happens when you try to play someone for a fool. I don't feel welcome here and I will never come back. Their new cashier is great and should be promoted immediately. read more

Love the option of ordering at the kiosk. Sometimes I'm indecisive and don't like the pressure of someone behind me. There are 2 kiosks. It has the option of paying there or the cashier. Plenty of options, very affordable prices. Inside was clean and comfortable. I did take a star off because I had to return both coffees due to them not being hot. Since we moved from the MB/NBV area, we always try to visit CAO for their great coffee and pastry. Unfortunately on our visit this past Saturday, we were surprised to see this location had become like the one on 163rd street. Too many people waiting and no line for customers - just the usual Miami mass of people. Tried waiting in what was supposed to be the line but that became the "we don't do lines" as more people just pushed in front. The ladies behind the counter seemed overwhelmed. It was better to leave as the situation could have gotten worse if we asked for some sort of line to form. Oh well - looks like business is good but no organization. How about putting in a rope of some sort to make a line when the place is busy? We expected better. Guess we'll pass in the future - being disappointed is better than frustrated.
