BEWARE OF DDC. NOAH VOLZ ! I saw Dr Volz because i have insurance that covers $1000 chiro a yr . Dr Volz illegal billed my insurance over $500 in 3 visits without me knowing where i was walking out of the office paying $13 of my 20% copay of $65 but Volz was billing the insurance $180 instead of the $65 it should have been. It wasn't until i emailed him for a statement which it took 4 emails to finally get the statement that showed his fraud. I reported NOAH VOLZ to the CA insurance commissioner ! Noah is a scammer! When i notified Dr. Benjamin he was honest and refunded me the full amount. Dr Benjamin seemed to truly care. I would see Dr.Benjamin ONLY if the fraudster Dr NOAH VOLZ  is gone. Again BEWARE OF DR NOAH VOLZ he will bill your insurance without you knowing it! As a health professional, I often refer patients to Dr. Benjamin. Without fail, they get back to me to thank me for the referral. I've been to countless chiropractors, physical therapists, and bodyworkers, and Adam is phenomenal. Unlike the "snap/crack, come on back" chiropractors who spend a few minutes with a few quick adjustments, he often spends 30 or 40 minutes analyzing posture, discussing athletic or work habits that may be contributing to dysfunction, doing sophisticated soft tissue work along with very skilled gentle manipulation. Adam never pressures patients to enroll in package deals of multiple sessions and often suggests letting the treatment settle in instead of rushing back. His work is an eclectic combination of working with the joints, but combined with excellent soft tissue skills to free muscular and tendinous tightness which is often the cause of point pain. I really appreciate that he gives strengthening and stretching mobility exercises that enable empowerment of the patients to help themselves. In addition to his specific medical skills, the icing on the cake is his caring and warm personality, especially in patient listening to patients. A rare individual!!! read more

Dr. Benjamin is a really nice guy but even more important, a great chiropractor who practices way differently from what I have experienced elsewhere. I call him a "thinking man's chiropractor", thinking outside the box. After being generically "adjusted" elsewhere several times (my nice way to say jerking on my neck without good results, what seems to be the same treatment for all), Dr. Benjamin explained the cause of my problems and trained me in some customized self-help exercises that I can do at home or at the Y. Wow, great results. Dr. Benjamin obviously has medical knowledge way beyond chiropractics. He listens and he cares. I hope that he stays in practice since I doubt that I could find a replacement who is this good. read more

I have been going to Dr Benjamin for a number of years. He does the usual chiropractic adjustments as needed that any chiropractor would do. However he goes way beyond this, by identifying your weak points, and by teaching you exercises to correct these. He gives you homework, so to speak! He has given me a much better understanding of how my body works. He has helped me with my general posture, with neck and shoulder pains from computer use, and with problems from a fall and from my overdoing it in the gym from time to time. If there's something he can't treat, he doesn't hesitate to send you to an M.D., and in fact he seems to have a number of M.D.'s and health professionals among his clients. Aside from his medical skills, he has wide interests, especially in music and in travel, and it is a pleasure just to be in the office and discuss current activities him. Beyond that, he schedules ample time for his appointments, and always seems to keep a positive, unruffled disposition for his patients regardless of whatever outside stresses he's under. And to me, anyway, his rates seem extremely reasonable. I would recommend Dr Benjamin to anyone for the various aches and pains and strains that always seem to come up in life. Adam is a great professional whom my whole family goes when needed and we always have had a great result. My husband and I started going to Adam after a serious car acident we had in 2005, we were in a pretty bad physical condition. Please do not go to this man. Unfortunatly I made the mistake of going to him twice. Adam made my symptoms worse. I had to take 3 months off work & 4 and 1/2 months later my leg still tingles. My leg never had symptoms like this until I let him "adjust" me. Please do yourself a favor & take my advise. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Dr. Adam is truly one of a kind. I have seen approx. 22 Chiropractors in 6 states during a 15 year dance career. When I moved from NY City, I stopped being adjusted. I would wait as long as I could, then find some ridiculous excuse to go to Manhattan so that my fantastic Chiropractor could work on me. That's how picky I am with Chiropractors. Dr. Adam gets amazing results because he approaches the body holistically. He sees you only when you need it, educates you so that you have a clear picture of what is happening in your body, then gives you exercises so that your body can hold new patterns after being adjusted. He cares about his patients so much and is the opposite of the 5 minute, in and out adjustment. He spends about 1.5 hours with each patient, from heat, to massage work with a therapist, to manual adjustment, to teaching of exercises, to roller table. I think Adam Benjamin is a good person and means well. However when i was seriously damaged by another chiropractor that he knew well rather than support me and acknowledge that some chiropractic adjustments are unsafe especially on C1 and C2, and can injure people. Instead of supporting me he tried and to deny that it was the chiropractic adjustment that injured me even though he had treated me for the injury caused by the adjustment. I think my take away is that you need to be careful about Chiropractic care generally because unfortunately even the most conscious and caring Chiropractor like Adam is unwilling to admit the dangers of its practices. And I discovered after seeing a neurologist for the severe damage that I am not the only person who has had neurological damage from Chiropractic care a fact that industry pretends doesn't happen. I was very disappointed that someone who I had seen for so long was unable to see beyond his own interests and support his own patient in their care. it is no wonder that so many doctors and especially neurologists feel negatively about chiropractic practices since they engage in potentially harmful behavior and do nothing to monitor and change their practices. I have been to multiple doctors regarding my back pain, even after getting an MRI I still could not find a doctor that would take the time to review my MRI with me and explain what was causing my pain. Excellent in every way! First time to a Chiropractor in many years (after one negative experience many years ago). I was desperate in excruciating pain that was limiting my ability to maintain my regularly active live (including functioning in a new job). I am 56 and have had a handful or more of these back episodes since 40. The treatment I received from Adam and the massage therapist, Dennis was great! That there is even a massage therapist that augments what Adam is doing is fabulous!. Within one week I was 50% better, 2 weeks 90% better, and at 3 weeks 100% better. I have not had such a quick recovery with previous episodes. Adam provided exercises with each session and helped me progress my activity each time w/o re-injuring myself. Adam took his time with each session and really helped me understand what was going on and the importance of progressing slowly with activity. Exercises came with great graphic pictures and instructions. Both had amazing healing touch literally and figuratively. I hope to go a very long time without another episode, but if I get another I'll immediately be setting up an appointment.
