Words cannot express how incredibly grateful I feel for finding Dr. Paul to perform an endoscopic surgery for the removal of an osteoma on my forehead. For the past 10 years I have had a growing benign bone tumor on my forehead called an osteoma. About two years ago, it was getting large enough that you could see it in pictures and people would ask questions what it was. I needed to do something about it. I am Canadian and the removal of my bone tumor in Canada was not covered by our healthcare system since it was benign and not causing any significant health concerns at the time. Although the bone tumor was continuing to grow at an alarming rate, I knew I needed to remove it before it got too large and I certainly wasn't waiting around for the Canadian healthcare system to decide when it would be covered. Most plastic surgeons in Canada I contacted (11 in total) wanted to cut a big incision in my forehead over the bump to remove it or told me to just grow bangs. This was not an acceptable solution for me. After a ton of research I discovered there was a special technique that could be performed to remove the osteoma using an endoscopic procedure. This would be performed with a little incision behind my hair line to remove it and it would leave no visible scar, tissue or nerve damage. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a doctor in Canada who specialized in this endoscopic technique so I reached out to a few plastic surgeons in the United States since not a lot of surgeons perform this type of surgery. After a diligent review talking with a few of surgeons and after speaking with Dr. Paul; Dr. Paul immediately stood out from the other surgeons. When you speak to Dr. Paul you will feel the same and understand what I mean. He was open, honest and you could tell he really cares about his patients and the surgery he performs. When I booked my surgery with Dr. Paul I was confident I booked a great surgeon but I (and my family and friends) were completely blown away by his talent and beside manner after the surgery. The surgery was so successful!! I had no pain, almost no bruising, and you couldn't even see the small incisions he made hidden in my scalp. Dr. Paul even came the next day to the hotel I was staying at to check to see how I was doing!! He truly is a talented and kind surgeon!! I had my stitches removed when I got back to Canada. Both my family doctor and the nurses were so impressed with his work after seeing me 7 days post surgery. I am now just over 3 weeks post surgery and look and feel AMAZING!! I had an amazing experience with Dr. Paul.  A few weeks ago I was ice skating with my son, and I somehow lost my footing and flew backwards and landed on my face.  My teeth went through my skin below my lower lip, and my glasses significantly broke my nose and lacerated my nose and face around my right eye. I was lucky enough to be put in touch with Dr. Paul by a friend, and he asked me to text pictures of my face to him - he reassured me that he could attend to me in the office after seeing the pictures (rather than just sending me to the ER), and waited for me in his office on a Saturday until 4pm. He and his amazing nurse Sarah worked patiently on me for a good 1.5 hours (the laceration through my mouth was gnarly and a pretty complicated repair) and they were truly the only team I could have imagined taking care of me - good natured, patient, meticulous, smart, and compassionate.  I myself am a physician, and I don't toss those descriptors out lightly. I had significant swelling given the nature of my injuries, and every day thereafter Dr. Paul checked in with me, and even had the idea to have me take a probiotic so I didn't get a complication from the clindamycin (antibiotic) I had to take so the laceration inside my mouth didn't get infected.  THEN came the repair of my broken nose when the swelling went down. Dr. Paul is a plastic surgeon AND an ENT, and it really increased my confidence in his care. He encouraged me to do a closed reduction of the nasal fracture in the office given that I didn't have much bleeding from the initial injury and he wanted to save me from having to go under general anesthesia - while I was nervous, I trusted his judgement, and I was SO glad that I did. He patiently numbed my nose for a good 30 minutes before doing anything, and as soon as he had carefully repositioned the bone, I said "that was it??" I was so thankful I had trusted his guidance and not gone under general anesthesia. After my first consultation with a different medical office and different doctor, I was uneasy about the quick and seemingly frivolous recommendations that were made for me to deal with a specific concerning area regarding hair density of my hairline. I continued my search for another doctor and was fortunate enough to come across the very compelling and extremely accurate positive reviews of Dr. Benjamin Paul. From the very first moment I stepped into their gorgeous office, to the warm greeting from their staff to the incredibly generous, knowledgeable, patient and objective information and suggestions of Dr. Benjamin Paul, I could not be more happy and grateful.  In an industry that is littered with pushy doctors looking to convert people into sales, dr. Benjamin Paul is wholeheartedly honest and caring, treating patients as the humans they are in spite of the fact that they may be vulnerable and overly impressionable to suggestions. I applaud him for not only his incredible bedside manner, but also, the work that I witnessed through his Instagram speaks for itself in comparison to many of the other top rated doctors whom I researched thoroughly prior to this visit.  Ultimately, Dr. Benjamin Paul suggested that I wait until the future, if at all, to do any transplants or take any other preemptive measures for my situation and concern. I really do not write reviews but this was a must do. Today I had a Rhinoplasty consultation with Dr. Paul. His staff was professional and courteous. I was so excited to meet with Dr. Paul after all the great reviews I read. I must share that all the positive reviews about this Dr. are true. He was amicable, welcoming and in tuned to all my concerns and what I was looking for. He was patient while i searched for photos in my phone, to show the type of nose that I liked and was looking for. Unfortunately, He stated that he will not do the surgery because he didn't want me to be unhappy and unsatisfied with a subtle change, after spending so much money. He assured me that he would do a beautiful job but it wasn't what I was looking for. I don't have any medical issues, it more of a cosmetic procedure. To my surprise, he did not Charge me a Consultation fee! This man has no interest in money. His interest is in the satisfaction and happiness of his patience. He is a great doctor with a HEART OF GOLD. He may have not been for me but he may be for you and I recommend him 100%! Thank you Dr. Paul, for taking the time to patiently listen and refer another surgeon that may fit my liking. I am saddened because I was looking forward to having my surgery done with you but there is nothing better than honesty. After doing extensive research of hair transplant surgeons in the US, Western Europe and Turkey I decided on going with Doctor Paul. I've been waiting 10 years do this procedure, so I did not take this decision lightly. It's been 2 weeks post op and I can confidently say that going with Doctor Paul was the right choice 1000%. He approaches his work with a high level of artistry. I went into our meeting not sure exactly what I wanted but he talked me through it and showed me the best way to go about the procedure which would make me look better not just immediately after the procedure but also in 10, 20 and 30 years down the line. The point is to give me hair (and hairline) but also ensure that I age gracefully and that the transplant doesn't look awkward later in life. His expertise, attention to detail and gentle way of explaining his method and the logic behind it put me very much at ease knowing that I was in good hands. The procedure itself was a great experience. The offices are beautiful and the staff very friendly go out of their way to ensure that I felt comfortable. I was back at work the next day and Doctor Paul has personally called me a few times to make sure I was feeling ok and wasn't in any sort of discomfort (I was not). I've found it difficult to find a doctor that really understands hair. After I stopped taking some medication I noticed I was losing a lot more hair than normal and was unable to find a doctor that truly understood the mechanisms behind this kind of hair-fall especially in women. Although my hair-fall was not severe, it was still worrying because no doctor was able to reassure me and explain the process. Dr. Paul is extremely thorough and took his time when answering my questions. Many doctors have made me feel rushed in the past and simply provided a one-size-fits-all remedy which is not conducive to everyone and their individual journey. Dr. Paul, on the other hand, is extremely knowledgeable and wanted to ensure I understood his advice and that I was truly satisfied with the consultation. He provided a lot of detail not only about the medication I was taking but also eased my nerves and anxiety about my particular situation. I was able to take as much time as I needed to ask specific questions, and Dr. Paul answered each one patiently, and with tremendous detail. This was easily the best decision I have made for myself in the past 20 years. I started loosing my hair around 16. I hated it. I also sort of ignored it. Over the years I would see pictures of myself and be shocked at how much hair I was loosing. I began wearing hats all the time. It's not that I was embarrassed, I just hated how I looked. I went to a number of Doctors but as soon as I sat down with Dr. Paul, I knew he was the Doctor for me. He is kind, encouraging and a wonderful man. I would like to give my highest recommendation to Dr. Ben Paul for both his exceptional surgical skill, and his above and beyond care for his patients. When I showed Dr.Ben Paul my slit earlobe, it was such an ugly sight, and I never thought I would be able to wear earrings, or put my hair up again because I was so embarrassed by the sight of my ear. I visited Dr. Paul for a hair restoration consultation based on his excellent on-line reviews and I was not disappointed. The office is clean and modern and the front desk staff are polite and efficient. Dr. Paul himself is professional yet warm and immediately puts you at ease. He devotes his full attention to the patient and answers all questions fully and patiently. In my case his professional determination was that I was not a suitable candidate for a hair transplant procedure. He explained the reasons for his assessment and walked me through some other options which he thought might be more suitable in my case. I appreciated Dr. Paul's candor as a more unscrupulous practitioner might try to sell you on his services even if they are not appropriate. As a further demonstration of Dr. Paul's integrity he waived his consultation fee given that his recommendation was to not proceed with a hair transplant. In the event I do decide to proceed with a transplant in the future (and am a suitable candidate) I would have no hesitation in going to Dr. Paul. read more

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Paul seven weeks ago and could not have made a better decision. I am already so happy with my nose-he was so thorough in his evaluation, and gave me a result that goes perfectly with my face. To me, it looks like the nose I should have been born with! On top of that, he was completely transparent with me during the entire consultation, pre-op and post-op processes, and during recovery. Of all the doctors I consulted, I felt he was the one I could really trust. Doctor Benjamin Paul is a BRILLIANT doctor. He has exquisitely skilled hands, is graceful in his movements and you know that you are being taken cared of by one of the best doctors if not the best doctor in the world. The absolute sweetest and most honest doctor in the world! I've been stalking Dr. Paul's Instagram (seriously check out the before-and-afters) for a few months and finally made an appointment. I just left the appointment with the biggest smile and reassurance that everything is OK. Given the very low amount of general and diffuse hair shed, he was upfront and honest and said I was neither a candidate for PRP or hair transplant surgery.
