Immediate and gracious service even though we arrived early for our reservation. Beautiful setting with attractive photos and tapestries on the walls, tastefully appointed plants, with both private and open seating areas. As soon as we saw our server headed towards us with heavily laden plates, we knew right away we would need "to go " boxes. Our appetizers and entrees were served piping hot! Loved the way our food tasted. The visual presentation was outstanding. Our server, Kate, checked in on us several times even though she was handling several tables. We particularly appreciated that she left a decanter of ice water at our table. And, she was so wise! She offered us to go containers without our having to ask for them. We have several other restaurant suggestions to try during our stay in St George. Yet, we both agreed we would definitely consider coming back here instead of trying all of the suggestions on our list. I love this little spot. Every time I drive up from Vegas I make it a point to stop here. The rolls are big and always taste fresh. Service is alway good. New York favorite roll is the PJ roll and my wife loves the green baby roll which isn't on the menu but is a PJ roll without tuna. Both are very good. This was our second time eating at Benja's Thai Garden in St. George, and it didn't disappoint. The service is always so good, and the restaurant is usually very packed! This time, we ordered some potstickers and two sushi rolls for our appetizers. We also ordered the Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, and the Drunken Noodles. First time trying this location, but Benja's is one of my favorite sushi and Thai places, I always stop in when visiting St. George. This time I tried the miso soup, which can come in this large bowl and be kept warm over fire, which was cool! Always love me so miso soup! We split the playboy roll and the pad Thai. It's a solid restaurant. The Pad-thai wasn't cooked correctly or they just use low quality noodles. Take-out order from this place. I was surprised that it looked brand new, I've visited the downtown facility, quaint and always great, expired same here. When I got home, I was surprised to find egg rolls instead of the spring rolls we ordered, they were a 5/10. What a fantastic restaurant in St. George, probably one of the better Thai restaurant that I have ever been. The entire experience was good. The reservation was not possible due to extremely busy Saturday but the wait time was only thirty minutes. The turnover was extremely fast and the waitress was fantastic. She was very nice and quick. She gave us probably one of the best service with friendly smile and enthusiasm. Our foods were served all at the same time and had great ingredients with perfect seasoning and not too sweet. The Pad Si Ew and Drunken Noodles were my favorites, but Tom Yum soup as well as the beef fried rice and Asparagus dish had excellent sauce. We went here because the way was too long as a near by Japanese alternative and oh boy am I glad we did. 20 minute wait on a Saturday night. We ordered sushi, soup, and several entrees. The Tom yom soup was unbelievable. Best I've ever had. The sushi was good but the variety at first glance seems good and then when you read the descriptions, it's basically the same exact sushi with one small variant, so not a huge variety of sushi to choose from but it was good. We had the lettuce wraps, green curry, yellow curry, teriyaki chicken and vegetable stir fry and all were fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive. I went here about 2 years ago with my daughter and her friend. My daughter heard that this restaurant was really good, but we were very disappointed. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, drunken noodles, and curry chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was probably the worse sweet and sour I've ever tasted. Absolutely delicious!! We had reservations for a Saturday night. It was so busy but we were seated when our reservation was. The employees were so kind! We had a larger party and we ordered two different curries (green and yellow), orange chicken, pad Thai, miso soup, edamame, pot stickers, Vegas roll, Geisha roll, ghost roll, and the virgin River roll. The appetizers came out quickly! The edamame was cooked perfectly and salted well. The miso soup was great and had a lot of onions and tofu. It wasn't overly salty like other restaurants. The pot stickers were some of the best we had. We all loved them! The outside was crispy and the filling was so good too. The pad Thai was good overall but I would've personally loved to have more chicken and peanut flavor through out. The yellow and green curries were so good! All of the veggies were so fresh. There was a lot of chicken which we enjoyed too. They were easily some of the best curries we have had. The orange chicken was fine. It had good flavor but I wouldn't order again, as the breading did get soggy. The sushi rolls were all incredible!! Amazing quality and so tasty. There are two locations here in St.George. I went to the one in St. George Blvd and it was packed so I went to the one out Red Cliffs Blvd. These guys were not as busy and I was seated right away. I ordered Fresh Basil Rolls and Benja Spicy Basil. The fresh rolls were really good. They had fresh basil, lettuce, cilantro, and shrimp. Served with a spicy peanut sauce and olive oil pesto sauce. I liked the peanut sauce but didn't care for the olive oil. I ordered the spicy chicken basil with a 3 on the spice meter. It wasn't spicy enough. I also ordered the chicken to be ground chicken. I didn't care for that either. The dish was missing the basil flavor and was not salty enough. It seemed like they flash fried the vegetables and added the basil last. I was really disappointed in the flavors. I've had this dish before and the flavor was really good. Maybe it's this location. I also looked at my water glass and noticed that that the glass was chipped. This could do some major damage to my lips if I wasn't using a straw. I told the server that she might want to throw this glass away after I used it. I'll try the other location again next time to see if it is any better. read more

Loud and hectic restaurant with decent service and helpful staff. We didn't wait long for anything. All the food came out fast. Benja's does some entrees better than others. drunken noodles and pad thai were good. Green curry vegetables are lack luster. The spicy eggplant with tofu was overcooked with tough and inedible tofu. Everything served just seemed to have a whole lot of green peppers in it. If you want spicy, you've got to add it yourself. Watch out for 18% mandatory gratuity for groups of 6 or more. We stopped in late Monday night. We were driving through but wanted a sit down restaurant. When we arrived, I believe we were the last diners we were seated immediately. They have a variety of Thai and Japanese food. We first ordered the Fresh Basil Rolls. They were great, unfortunately they were not served with crushed peanuts or a peanut sauce. We also got the Tom Ka Soup. Not sure if they have a base and then add things. The only reason I say this, is we ordered two bowls and mine appeared to have way more chili oil in than my husbands. Still tasty but a little oily. For the entree we ordered the drunken noodles with beef, OUTSTANDING! Not a lot of beef, but great vegetables and noodles in an incredible sauce. Our server was also great! Most likely will be back on another visit through St. George. read more

Found another Thai place in St George! It's in a Strip Mall across the street from the Mall. Newer building and it's a really large place. Also they have Sushi!! My wife & I stopped in for an early dinner. First impressions are very clean, Covid 19 aware. Nice soothing music in background. Also was impressed with the amount of Take Out they must do. They had Sauce cups filled for takeout stacked up for customers. You would think that 20-40 would be enough! But NOPE they had 100's. No kidding. Wished I had snapped a pic. They must really rock the Take Out Business. They have so much room that you should feel comfortable with social distancing here. Very nice wait staff here. Lots of selection in the menu. So I like to order Pad Thai on first visit to a new place. This is kind of a way for me to standardize against other Thai place. We had the Spring Roll for appetizer. They came really fast! Lots of great rice too. Like that they give you a large portion of rice. To many places make you ask for more & it takes away from the meal. This was a very good Curry. This place knows how to take care of business! So the Mango/Rice came. It was nicely prepared and looked really good. It was very good! Not over sweet, but just right. The food was pretty bad. 3 of us got there for a late lunch. We ordered a few rolls and some miso soup. The soup was luke warm, very salty, and had too much seaweed. The rolls were sadly not any better. One was okay and the other was barely edible, and my daughter who loves sushi (and was hungry) couldn't stand to finish it. In town visiting and heard it's the best Thai around. I found this to be a true statement, some of the best Thai I've had in Utah, definitely in St. George. We shared panang chicken curry, pineapple chicken curry, shrimp pad thai, and 3 sushi rolls, Mr. Fisher, playboy, and a tuna smoked salmon roll. Both curries were amazing. Spice level 3, and perfect. Smooth creamy coconut base seasoning perfectly. The pad Thai was delicious. Rice noodles cooked to perfection, and the shrimp was divine, but I needed more of the shrimp!
