We ate lunch here last week. It was fast easy and quick. The ambience is very clean and simple and the food is absolutely OUTSTANDING .The average price per plate is $14.95. The moderate is SPICY. Eating this as takeout in front of my boyfriend's sister and her husband and trying to play this really cool but nearly blew up trying to keep my cool there. Great flavor! Anything you order will taste right, it's going to be actually Thai food, order your spice level accordingly. The noodle are some of the best in town, and their Larb is very flavorful. If not for the attentive and friendly service, I would have rated this place a bit lower since the food was just okay and the drunken noodles dish I ordered was very greasy. Not a bad place. I've only ever gone for takeout here. They use mostly coconut milk in their curries. That means the curry taste is nice and strong. It is a chain place, so it doesn't get that last star that it needs to make a five star meal. Plus it lost a star because the size of the meals for the price aren't in proportion to the price charged. Being that it is a chain restaurant, I don't think we'll ever get bigger portions or that they will reduce the price to match this. So basically, when you have no other options in a town like St. George, this is where you go for your curry fix. read more

We have been greeted with a warm welcome, friendly quick serivce, and great tasting food when we come here. I was so happy to find Thai food close to my home that not only taste authentic but its resonably priced. You come and order at the counter. The menu is displayed above and a small printout below that are both clear and easy to read. Inside only has a few tables but we were able to get one each time. They also have lunch specials that come with a tasty noodle soup which was hot and perfect on a cold day. My go-to's have been beef Pad Thai or Garlic beef with Thai tea. They are both done very well. The only thing missing for me is boba to go in my tea. I look forward to trying the mango sticky rice here when it is in season. read more

I recently was in town for a dance competition and found myself walk over to a little strip mall to find something to eat. I decided in Royal Thai and since returning back to slc I have dreamed of this place. This restaurant was a small little place but it was packed. I was able to find a seat in the corner. I ordered pot stickers, spring rolls, and lettuce wraps... I left no crumps because it was all so good. The women who took my ordered was so kind, she checked on my often and took the time to get to know me. I would recommend this place and would eat here again for sure! read more

Lovely place and was busy on a week day night which is always a good indication. We ordered the crispy fish fillet and the lad nar. I also got a Thai ice tea to wash it down. The tea was great. But the fish fillet and lad nar were ok, nothing to write home about. Also the fish was really crispy. And for this dish usually it's the whole fish not just fillet. And then we realized the portions were a little on the smaller side so we got the res curry with veges. This was the best one and the portion was quite large. I'd get this again next time. The prices here are very reasonable so the portions for some of the dishes are ok foe that. Lunch specials look particularly reasonable. read more

I've been to too many Thai restaurants to count by far Royal Thai is in top 3. I ordered the Drunken noodles with beef hot, and the mango curry with chicken hot. They were out of the mango so substituted with pineapple. They were both amazing, my wife and I shared and had leftovers for the next day. Inside is setup as quick serve with tables for dining and a soda machine for refills which is a plus. The service was excellent, food was delivered to our table even though you ordered at the counter. The lady there was very busy but had time to talk and make suggestions. Food is good. But they screwed up and gave us someone else's order, we were almost home and they called for us to return the food. We were tempted to keep it but the order was not our liking. We drove all the way back to do them a favor. The people it was meant for were angry, we were upset, she said she would give us a credit but she blamed the cooks. The other people were not sure they wanted to take it but she said they would not make it over. Anyway, we waited for the credit after our credit card posted the charge. Nothing. I work in St.George every other month and seen this place while I go to Tropical Smoothie. The place is small and full at the time I walked in. The selection was small in which I like. Great little walk up Thai Restaurant, it looks fairly new in this neighborhood. We can here because of Yelp and boy we're we glad. This spot is very clean and the menu is full of variety. We started off with potstickers one fried and one steamed, both were delicious and the sauce was very good. Then we went to the Tom Kai Soup and it was so nice and creamy with the coconut milk. Their yellow curry with chicken was very very good full of vegetables and made fresh! I ordered the Basil pork it was amazing and once again prepared fresh. The employees are really sweet and helpful and I love that they have a soda machine. Place was very clean and servings were huge. They do allot of take outs so you know the food is fresh. This place has really great food, we just drove in from Vegas and this was the first place we found. The cashier lady was really helpful explaining the food and very sweet to my little girl. The food came out super fast also, which was a plus since we were starving from the car ride. We got the Mango Curry since I have never see that on a menu before and really enjoyed it.
