Bennie's went up and above with their excellent service! They came when they said they'd be here, investigated the problem-and went to work to get it fixed! We had a water main break-and had water pouring into our finished basement from behind the wall. We had several calls out to area companies, and they either couldn't get here to start for a while, or it was too large of a job for them to take on. We found Bennies, and they said they'd be here Monday, and they showed up right on time-ready to work!! They brought a group that was very knowledgeable, and skilled.. and I'm not kidding when I say they worked very well together! When they left our house today, the job site was broom clean-and they took the time to hose down their work area by my garage. They were quiet, and before starting our job; they made sure to put up thick plastic sheets to keep the dust/mess out of the main part of our house. They had to take out 2 bathrooms, (1 down thru the cement slab floor!) same as another floor in a hallway, they had to go thru the floor there, too. They got our water back on yesterday as well as the use of our drains! We were pretty devastated when this started, and didn't know where to begin to get our house back together after something this big-but Bennie's took the wheel and they didn't steer us wrong. They were very reasonable! The team were all very polite, and we couldn't be happier! They put in the cement floors today which needs to dry up some before new flooring can be installed. The upstairs bathroom will need a new sink/vanity (that couldn't be salvaged in order to access the pipes)-and Bennie's will come back and do that install whenever the cement's done curing. I had a very slow leak on my kitchen faucet. They came out & replaced the 2 washers on the hot and cold water handles. The slow leak stopped from the faucet; however within 24 hours when the cold water handle was in use, water is coming is up from behind the handle. They came back out (different plumbers) the next day & advised me that I needed a new faucet system!!? Why was that not advised to me in the initial visit? I paid over $250 for 2 rubber bands (washers) and to replace the spiget (that I had already purchased). They were not at my home more that 30 minutes. Please note that I had used them in the past with no issues..that's why I still had the business cards. In the end they had the nerve to tell me that after I bought a new system that they would happily come out and install the new system for over $100!! No thank you!! I have since thrown away their business cards and will/won't recommend to anyone. Get me once shame on you; get me twice shown on me.!!! Happiness & Peace to All!! read more

bad attitudes and liars , can't seem to get the jobs done. We've had them come out multiple times to fix the plumbing and we have the same issues. Its been 2 maybe 3 days and still working on the SAME THING. Bennie's is outstanding when it comes to customer satisfaction. I am pleased with their professional level of work . My home is on a cement slab requiring a Jack Hammer to remove cement and inspect the drain. They did a complete excavating and repair under the cement, fixed the drain and replaced the cement the same day. Everything was completed and a few other things were accomplished at the same time. Recently had one of your drivers cut me off on Fort street nearing West rd. After getting into the left lane and passing your driver to avoid a collision, he looked right over at me and began laughing and giving me the piece sign. I called your shop and spoke to a young girl who took my number and said a manager would be contacting me. I don't want or need any free services. But what I do want is for you to speak to your driver and educate him on how important it is to drive responsibly. I had never heard of your company prior to this and now know I'll never call you if I needed service. I have a large clientele as I am a hair dresser and will be sure to tell all of my clients how your receptionist and driver don't know what professionalism is. read more

Asked for an estimate on having my sewer line replaced, their technician should up did 5 minutes of work and told me there is a charge for the estimate. When I scheduled the estimate I was not notified of a charge for a estimate. I said I'm not paying for a estimate. They packed up and left and told me they are not going to service my house again in the future. The owner was friendly however he reiterated the fact they will not work on my plumbing in the future. Who pays for a estimate. I have used bennies in the past and they new I was a returning customer yet that didn't matter to them, sad part is unless the estimate was ridiculous I was gonna just let them do it. read more

A plumber from Bennies came out to look at a VERY slow drain in my bath tub. Instead of snaking the bath tub, I was told by doing that it could potentially cause more problems....what??? Instead, I was told that since my house is a ranch home on a slab (no basement) that the floor & part of the wall would have to be taken down to access the trap. Then I was told I should contact my homeowner's insurance to see what they will pay & that I would also have to hire someone else to repair the floor & wall that they would tear down. I was quoted $1300 to start the job & maybe even more depending on how involved the work was. No attempt was ever made on his part to snake the bath tub since he had said previously that could cause more harm. Thanks to getting a 2nd opinion from another plumber the next day, I was spared the unnecessary expense & having my house ripped apart!! The Master Plumber I hired for a 2nd opinion merely snaked the bath tub & the problem was fixed. I paid the 2nd opinion Master Plumber a little over what I paid Bennies in a $69 service call from the day before. IMO, Bennies just gave me scare tactics in an overly inflated estimate, talk of ripping apart my house with potentially scamming my homeowner's insurance (AND ME) for totally unnecessary work. Be warned people, think twice about using this company & look elsewhere!! read more

The Plummer showed up on time and the guy that installed the water heater was good. Except he didn't clean up after he was done. Now comes the part that irritated me most. The guy that quoted the job told me that I get a top water heater. He also told me that he has to pay $ 1000 for the heater. He quoted me $ 1400. The plumper that installed the heater lost his bill at my house. He payed $ 787 for the water heater. It's an less than average product. The job was done in an hour. They charged me $ 1479 after the job was done. $ 600 for an hour work !!! I will never do business with this company again. read more

I had the displeasure of having to deal with these guys for 2 years through the insurance company. Long story short, they replaced a cracked sewer line which I thought would be the end right? Nope come to find out there was another pipe that needed to be replaced they didn't see. We had that replaced out of pocket mind you, well what do you know another back up. We called them back to see what was wrong so the guy tells us with a strait face, we needed to have they line jetted which they don't do. By this point we were done. We called a company to come out and jet out the line like they recommended only to find out when Bennies plumbing put the replacement pipe in the let a bunch of rocks in the line. At 12:45pm I called to make sure they were still coming, I got Michael's voicemail. I left a message asking if they were still coming. Nobody returned my call. At 1:45pm I called back and got Michael's voicemail again. I left a message that said I guess you guys are not coming so I am just going to cancel. Nobody ever even bothered to return my call to apologize for being late, not showing up, wasting my time, not returning my calls or to maybe see if I wanted to give them a second chance reschedule. I saw many recommendations for Bennie's Plumbing on Facebook so I called them. I highly do not recommend them. The young "man" was so very disrespectful! I admit I was very upset to pay $45 for 10 minutes. He tried to light the water tank. Stood up said it has to be the gas valve I can replace the water heater, I just did last year I had just told him this, so I can cover it under warranty. He told me the part should be covered under warranty took a few minutes looking for a # on the tank then asked if I had internet i could look it up while his partner stood on his phone the whole time. Then said that'll be $45. I'll come back after you get the part and it'll be $200 minus the 45 because I have to drain the tank and replace it or you can try it yourself. I felt ripped off I was hoping to get it fixed thioat day could really use hot water! I thought he could of called he is the "professional" diagnosing the issue. But he was so very disrespectful. Told me I should of stayed with my ex. Hopes I get it fixed but he doubts it. Needless to say i will never recommend this company! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! They came out 2 months ago due to a clogged main and we needed it snaked.. The plumber let his snake go and it got lodged in our main going to the road. They then told us it was our fault and charged us 3,000$ to clear the main and retrieve their tool. Left my yard a mess and told me if needed they would come out and throw gravel where they removed 2 slabs of concrete of my walk way. Well there is a 2 foot hill where my walk way used to be and the lady called me back today and told me she would send someone out again but would have to charge me because they see nothing wrong with my yard! I have pictures and video of when they left and what it still looks like. I will be contacting the BBB! This place is a joke read more
