As a dad, I have to say their burgers are top-notch--some of the best you'll find at any local event. Just don't wait until the end of the night like I did, or you'll be stuck in a long line. And whatever you do, don't skip the donuts! They come in cinnamon sugar and glazed, and while both are amazing, the glazed ones are my personal favorite. The hayride is always a relaxing highlight of the evening. If you plan to visit later in the day, make sure to dress warmly--it gets chilly fast once the sun goes down! It might even be nice if the ranch offered blankets for guests on those cold nights. One small suggestion for the staff: at the rock climbing wall, please make sure younger kids get assigned to the easier side. My 7-year-old was put on the harder one and only made it a few feet up, but she still had fun trying! Overall, Cross E Ranch continues to deliver an unforgettable fall experience. All in all we had a lovely stay, and talked about doing it again before we had even left on Saturday morning. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun get away, without a lot of everyday distractions (although you do still have cell reception). I am already trying to plan a time I can take my boyfriend back for a romantic weekend. Would be fun for a family trip as well, although maybe bring some games along if you have kids to help keep them entertained. We followed the creek and ended at a cute nativity scene area where the horses could rest and we could warm our hands by the fire. Everyone was involved in the proposal and I didn't even realize it was happening but all of a sudden I had roses in my hand and my boyfriend on his knee! It was such a special moment and we had a blast talking with the family during the ride over to the creek! If you are looking for a PRIVATE family sleigh ride or a great place to propose or just enjoy the winter in utah, you have to give them a call and get your rides setup! i can't recommend them enough!!

During the summer and especially during the fall Conrad Ranch is beautiful. We had our wedding and wedding reception at Conrad Ranch this past September 2011. We had an outdoor ceremony under a large grove of trees on the property next to a small pond. The fall colors on the surrounding hillsides were out in almost full force and it was gorgeous. The evening was very pleasant with great weather, not too cold and not too hot, and as the darkness set in we moved inside for our reception. Darryl and Linda Conrad operate Conrad Ranch along with help from their daughters, one who does catering and another who does flowers and decorations, and additional help from other family members. We choose a small buffet for our wedding reception for sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, and of course plenty of desserts! I'm pleased to report that everything was delicious and we were very happy with the catering services. The floral arrangements we paid for including my wife's boutique were also beautiful, especially her boutique. Again the Conrad's did a great job. One of the reasons we choose Conrad Ranch for our wedding is because we loved the outdoor setting. It was beautiful like I said. We also liked it because it was a little off the beaten path. Unlike some other venues and event centers Conrad Ranch only has some event at a time. It is private, personal and intimate -- tucked away in the Wasatch Mountains. It is worth mentioning that given the distance and the dark canyon some older people may be deterred from coming to your event. Some stayed away because of that but others carpooled and made it perfectly fine. It's not far away by any means but the canyon is dark at night and there is also wildlife, so be careful driving the canyon. When it came to price Conrad Ranch initially seemed like a terrific value, the price was almost half of what we had found at other venus in Utah County and they provided a lot more at no additional charge. However, when it came down to the nitty gritty details the charges started adding up. They charged $100 for us to have a photographer, $100 for the band, $100 for the photo booth, and other fees that just seemed extraneous. When it was all said and done I feel like we still got more for our money than if we had booked at one of the other veneus we looked at, but I wish Conrad Ranch had been a little more upfront about all the fees. They never provided any kind of price list specifying any of the additional fees that would be charged. So if you are interested in booking with Conrad Ranch just make sure to ask more questions then we did so you won't be surprised. Overall we had a wonderful experience at Conrad Ranch and they took great care of us and our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and a better experience for our wedding.
