When I questioned the price of the labour he did not sound inexperienced in quipping back, "Oh, that's an algorithm. I don't know why it does that. I'll fix that" and he brought the price down. If this is an algorithm, the implication was that his system is set up to do this EVERY time. ONLY if the customer complains he will manually correct the algorithm! Also, it was pretty certain we knew what the problem was when we brought it in but they still had to charge a whole inspection fee and labour? I don't know of other mechanics that do that when the problem is not difficult to diagnose. No wonder mechanics get a bad rep and I could get into this place at the drop of a hat when my trusted mechanic was unwell, and that the a place like Econolube with 5 star ratings couldn't get me in for 2 weeks.

They were told prior about a seized bolt that would need to be removed - however after a feeble attempt (which damaged more than the seized bolt) they gave up and decided not to finish the work. (Note: none of the remaining bolts were seized) There was no contact from either shop after that point - I had to call (at the end of the day) to find out that the work wasn't complete. Phil and his guys are completely unprofessional, have zero customer service skills, awful attitudes - and CCA was just as bad. I would not recommend either place to a toddler looking to change a bolt on a hot wheels car. 100% Avoid. This. Shop.
