If this is an algorithm, the implication was that his system is set up to do this EVERY time. ONLY if the customer complains he will manually correct the algorithm! Also, it was pretty certain we knew what the problem was when we brought it in but they still had to charge a whole inspection fee and labour? I don't know of other mechanics that do that when the problem is not difficult to diagnose. No wonder mechanics get a bad rep and I could get into this place at the drop of a hat when my trusted mechanic was unwell, and that the a place like Econolube with 5 star ratings couldn't get me in for 2 weeks.
