    Teriyaki chicken entrée

So Benny's has been around for some time now in my home town. I went there a really long time ago and while I can't really remember what turned me off then.... They absolutely redeemed their self yesterday. My daughter wanted hibachi and I wasn't going to drive to the beach so we went to Benny's to try them out. My lil boy got the teriyaki chicken entrée. He nearly ate all the chicken which is enough evidence in and of itself. I too tried his and it was as good if not better than most other hibachi places. My daughter got the filet entree and it too was amazing. Got my wife the vegetable entree but I did not try it. The sushi was really good. I got sashimi eel and salmon with a spicy tuna roll which they made extra spicy at my request. The Japanese egg roll was amazing. Service was good. Prices a lil high but again I didn't have to drive 30 - 40 mins to the beach. We will be back for sure.

The three rolls. Tiny amount of pickled ginger & wasabi! No other sauces..ei, yum yum or oyster.

I've had a couple of bad experiences here. Food didn't seem fresh and they got the order wrong.

Still fantastic! I highly recommend the Vietnamese rolls and Benny's rolls. His original sauce just finishes the experience.

This is a very good fast hibachi & american chinese spot!…read more I spend weeks at a time down in the MYR area to visit family and this spot is not far from my sisters. There are a lot of these type of fast casual hibachi spots in the MYR area for some reason (not many in NJ where I live) - and this one is absolutely the best in the area. Ordering is easy, friendly, and the prices are decent for the amount of food you get. We always have left overs. I've been fond of the shrimp bowl - I suggest getting extra "white sauce" - this stuff is amazing. It's even good on the rice! We always get extra to dip veggie in like carrot sticks to snack on the next day. The chicken/steak teriyaki and hibachi respectfully have been good as well, albeit more on the well done side and a little dry. The white sauce helps with that issue. The hibachi style fried rice (it has no vegetables mixed in) is very favorable and reminds me of the fried rice I would make or what an asian auntie would make for a quick meal :) The orange chicken - hands down one of the best I've had. Do NOT sleep on this orange chicken. While it could have a bit more orange flavor, it makes up in the freshness and crispness. I don't know how but it holds its crisp pretty well during delivery. It's never too over sauced and comes with white rice. Def. recommend for a quick fast meal that will keep you full.

You order by checking items on a laminated wipe-off page and it is brought to you. Don't order all of your dinner at once, take your time starters, soup, salad first. You may order as much as you want but it's considered exceptionally rude to waste food. Think of it as a buffet but instead of walking steam tables, you select what you want and it's prepared and brought to you. If you don't know what you like, try from 1-2 piece selections first. Pay attention to the * on items. There's a clear warning that raw and undercooked dishes have some risks. If you have weak tummy or immune, don't eat those. Also use caution if you have strong allergies - especially shellfish - as that's a common worry with any sushi/sashimi place. These dishes lean "California Style" but cover most diets. You will have a much better experience if you don't over-order any round. It's not expensive unless you've never eaten in the Grand Strand. Especially buffet style. There is no buffet that allows you to share a plate or take-home free. This IS a buffet just with a different food service model than most are accustomed to. It's also not a place for kids unless you know they eat this menu. They'll complain and you'll pay too much for it. Ambiance can be very nice and borders intimate. It's not Tokyo authentic but we're not in Tokyo. We (4) ate on Memorial Day Weekend '26 evening for just about $40 per seat. We all enjoyed our own preferences of Sushi, Sashimi, and Hibachi. We also all ate our fill over two hours. We'll be back, it's in our rotation. Wheelchair accessible with NO obstacles. Very attentive servers.

The spread is legit impressive with tons of options and the portions are generous so you don't feel like you're hunting for the last piece of everything. I went straight for the sashimi and honestly crushed it. Every single kind I tried was super fresh, great texture, and actually tasted really good. Nothing fishy or off about any of it. The rolls were solid too, however we didn't try their hibachi so I can't say anything about those items. For the price, the quality is honestly hard to beat around here. We've got a few sushi spots nearby but this one is quickly becoming one of my go to favorites in the area. If you're in Conway and craving sushi without breaking the bank, do yourself a favor and hit this place up. We'll definitely be back!

During a September 2024 vacation with a group, we went to Broadway on the Beach a couple of times. One of the nights the organizer of the trip wanted to go to a Hibachi place. My girlfriend & I didn't care that much about getting hibachi, and it's pretty expensive as hibachi tends to be. We ended up splitting a good amount of sushi rolls. It was a 3-roll combination, which came with soup & salad. I ate the salad & most of the soup, my g/f tried a couple of bites. We also added calamari, which my g/f ate more of, but she shared some. Everything was delicious. And we still got to see the hibachi show that the cook made, which was entertaining. Most of the group got the hibachi, but we weren't the only ones to not do the hibachi. Our sushi & food in general was solid. We also split a wine, which was good too. Staff was pretty nice, but a couple of things ran a bit slow, but overall it was pretty good service. At the end, we asked if they charge a credit card fee (as a lot of restaurants in Myrtle Beach did), and I had large wads of cash prepared to pay cash everywhere, and I was pleasantly surprised when they said no; so I paid credit here.
