Crust is cooked and crispy, have just the right amount of sauce, toppings are fresh, very good. Perfect spot for Marysville. I can find better pizza closer to Powell..but it does the trick for something different. The parking lot is large. Amazing for a nice summer night with live music. We sat at the bar. I feel like they can crank down the lighting some, but it is what it is. It was very awkward..you have to play Touch Tunes or there isn't music or anything. I got a couple glasses of wine..pretty average. We got a BLT pizza. It had been my favorite there for years. There is a popcorn machine I adore. I will always be back here. Service was awesome. Benny's is worth the hype. I don't live in Marysville but I was driving through and remembered the rave reviews for this place so I stopped in to order. I took the advice of others and asked for extra sauce. So glad I did. Really good sauce. I'd say it's a little on the sweet side but not in a bad way. Nice dense crust but not too thick. Toppings were good too. My son pointed out that the pizza reminded him of Sparano's on the west side. I agree. It is definitely in the ballpark but I'd say a couple notches better. In Marysville for the first time it was late . Luckily, I found Benny's Pizza. Vibe - Feels like a family establishment/pub feel. Music in the background (80s or 90s) Staff and Service - Amy was an awesome server , she provided recommendations and they were great! She alone, popped it up 3 stars Food - Coming from Cali, they use fresh ingredients and that pizza sauce taste legit. I ordered the bone in wings (habanero) , I prefer my wings fried then sauced so there was no crunch this time around, but the heat was perfect with the IPA Amy offered to try. They have always been great, but today the food was fine and the service terrible. We had to ask twice for a wait person, we sat at least 20 minutes before someone came to even get a drink order. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Soup and salad came, but it was at least 35 minutes---no pizza. No drink refills. I flagged someone down and asked they cancel the pizza. Then suddenly it appeared. We boxed it and got the check. When asked about the meal, I again explained how bad the service was. Tried Benny's for lunch. Cool place with giant patio. Apparently they have live music Thursday through Sunday. It had just rained so we chose to sit inside. Alejandro did a great job taking care of our party of six. He was very engaging and answered all of our menu questions. We loved how he cracked jokes with us every time he came to the table. So our group had the pretzels, stuffed mushrooms, brisket tacos, chicken tacos, ham and cheese sub and the best part...the garbage pizza. We ordered it with all the toppings (except anchovies) and it was so so so good. I can't say enough about this pizza. Crispy thin crust that totally held up to all the toppings. The sausage and pepperoni taste like their made in house but I didn't see anything on the menu that said so. Great flavor in every bite. My son had a turkey/cheese hoagie which was average, but the pizza was overloaded with semolina on the bottom such that the overall taste was sandy and gritty. It tasted as if we were eating on the beach. We complained to the 3 young folks, and they couldn't care less. Loud head banging music was anxiety producing, and unacceptable for the atmosphere. My favorite was the Plain, but that is def just my preference in general. Next time I'm going to get the sauce on the side. These wings are super meaty so the only thing I would do different next time is ask for a little extra crisp. The "All The Way Pizza" was delicious. Large $24.75. The toppings were so plentiful you barely saw dough or cheese. The crust under the toppings stayed sturdy but wasn't over cooked which so often happens to hold all those toppings up. Our 1 child had a Kid Tender with Fries, $6.20. I don't know what they do to those fries but (here it comes - the most over-used phrase on Yelp) They Were THE Best Fries I have ever had!!!!! Skins on, not too thick, not too skinny, and perfectly crisped. Every one had a "crunch" when you bit into it. We also got an order of Braided Pretzel Twists $6.79. Superfluous......yet.......Very Necessary!! Skip the Mustard and ask for Double Cheese to dip. Some nice beers on tap too. I had the Kentucky Bourbon Stout $6.50. So why 5 *? It recently occurred to me that I go places and give a place that I liked everything about only 4* because it's not a 5* restaurant. Well that doesn't make sense to me anymore. I'm giving this 5* because if you are looking for a Pizza, Wing, Beer Music Venue place then this place is a 5* version of exactly that! Terrible experience on Wednesday evening. We go to Benny's about 3-4 times a month and spend approximately $40-$45 each visit. We have ordered and been forgotten, received the wrong items on our pizza, etc. and have always been understanding. We ordered Potstickers, 2 bowls of Potato Soup, 1 salad and 2 drinks on Wednesday. We asked for some ranch dressing with the Potstickers but could not eat them as they were burnt and were hard like pretzels. The Potato Soup had hard potatoes in it, and we could not eat it either. I had taken 2 bites of my salad prior to the other items arriving and had a couple of sips of my iced tea. The other drink was untouched. The Manager on duty was sent over and he offered to take the items off of our bill. No one asked us if we wanted anything else instead, so we decided to leave to find another restaurant to eat at. We left $1.00 on the table for the waitress for her trouble and were almost to our truck when the Manager on Duty came outside and chased us down. He said we needed to come back in and pay the bill, even though we were unable to eat the food. He said the salad had a few bites taken out of it and demanded we pay. My husband went back inside to pay for the drinks that we hadn't consumed. We were asked to pay for the salad also so we asked to take the salad and drinks home, since we were paying for them. To our surprise, the table had been cleared and they refused to provide another salad. We said we would pay for the drinks but wanted them in carryout cups since they had been tossed out also. We paid for the drinks, and they also charged us for the dressing, which had been unused for the Potstickers. I am extremely disappointed in the manner in which we were treated. I guess demanding us to pay $7.00+ for the drinks and dressing was worth losing long time customers over. I've been going to Benny's Pizza since probably before I was born. I have family in Marysville and Benny's was the place to go year round. From the giant root beer mug on top of the building, to the back corner of the sprawling patio- Benny's is a compound of mismatched buildings, tables and tents that has a dive bar sense of cozy. The main building houses the kitchen and the main bar, which you squeeze past after walking in the door. You keep walking to get to the hostess stand, past the popcorn machine, and they'll seat you inside or outside! Past the hostess stand are the bathrooms and some arcade games. There's an enclosed patio off the main building, a tent off of that, and then the big patio with an extra bonus bar building by the fence. Their stage takes new artists, local bands, and cover bands alike and if you want to have a seat or table for a show you better get there early. I usually get their pizza, pepperoni mushroom, or an Italian sub whenever I go. Other menu favorites are the gyro pizza, the antipasto salad, and their wings. The popcorn is free and is brought to every table by the wait staff. The staff of Benny's are mostly townies or local high school kids, super nice and well-meaning so be patient. For a lot of them it's their first job and it's always so busy, your water might not get refilled right away. When in doubt ask for a pitcher! It makes it so much easier to refil your drinks yourself that way (beer, water, pop, or their house-made root beer) I'm definitely wearing some nostalgia tinted glasses writing this review- but Benny's will always be a staple of my hometown. read more

Oh my gosh! If you are in Marysville, OH even if just passing through, you MUST visit this pizza place!! They have lots of toppings on their pizza and it is worth every penny! We always have left overs because it is super filling and they taste great the next day. There is free popcorn that they bring to your table while you wait for your pizza to be made. But be careful not to eat too much of it or you won't be able to eat as much yummy pizza. The kids like the pretzels with cheese. Benny's is the best pizza in Marysville. It's one of the few that isn't a chain. They make their pizza fresh. It's also more of a bar. They have good local beer, that goes good with a pizza. I had a Frosty Top cocktail. It's about $3.50 for a glass. This is made with root beer and vanilla vodka. It's absolutely amazing. This is such a simple drink to make, and it's really refreshing when you're hot. Speaking of hot, the pizza comes out here like it's on fire. There's also other food on the menu if you don't want to eat a whole pizza by yourself. I had a vegetable sub. This is about $7 for a pretty large one that's loaded with onions, peppers, and other toppings. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It's better than it looks.
