This place is massive with no shortage of seating for families and groups. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Not very spicy, but the chicken itself was great! We come in every Monday for the boneless wings and have great service and wonderful food. We had Charlie C tonight who just didn't seem like he wanted to be here, much less get anything extra for us. We have the discount card, which I put on the table as soon as we sit down. Evidently he didn't see it until he brought the bill and immediately had an attitude about it. Very busy with loads of seating and parking, and multiplexing screen TVs with sports playing. I ordered takeout boneless wings and fried pickles. The wings had very tough batter and had very moist white meet. The Korean bbq sauce was okay, but don't think I would order the wings again. Sauces were generous. read more

Hello y'al! Finally, Roosters is open again. 12 members of our family went and dined in last night. We waited less than 30 mins. The place has changed for the better. More wider area and lots of big screen TV's. Watched the championship College football last night. Food is always fantastic and reasonable. Met and seen lots of great people I've never seen for a while. Our wait staff Maegan was very attentive and helpful . She did an excellent job taking care of our family. Got to meet the GM Kristy and manager fr Hilliard Laura. Very accommodating and friendly people. We seldom come here before because it's hard to get in with our big family. Now that they have more seating capacity we'll definitely come back more often. Such a wonderful dining experience. Thanks for opening the place again. More power and God bless. read more

Roosters clearly put in a lot of time and thought into the remodel of this location and it looks great! We had a flawless experience. The service was on point with drinks filled before we had to ask. The food was fresh and hot. We had buffalo cauliflower, potato skins and chicken salads. The layout of the restaurant is open and bright. The noise level was not too loud, but what is expected at a sports bar with TVs at every angle. So happy to have this location opened back up and it will be our go to Roosters from now on. read more

Covid and hot chicken edition: this was handy, and I heard they had Nashville hot chicken, so I had to try that. It was moderately busy on a Sunday evening, which was a surprise. I tried to order online but that was not working. So I ordered at the counter, and then came back later. I got ten Nashville wings. It's a dry rub, and it's not super hot. It's barely the cold at other places. The wings themselves are good as always. Large, meaty, etc. The spice was fine, but nowhere near as good as other hot chicken I've had. I wasn't offered any veggies or ranch, etc. Another omission was I did not get any napkins or utensils with my carry out order. That was an annoyance. I also got a red rooster salad, and though it was a half order it was a big portion. Everything was fresh and tasty. And I got the baked mac & cheese. Was here a week or so ago to try and catch some football. The place is filthy dirty. The floors are slick as ice from grease. The men's bathroom is disgusting. No way the kitchen is any sort of clean. Had two beers and left without ordering food. Very disappointed. read more

When my husband moved here from Canada, I decided to take him to Roosters as a little date. He is a picky eater and said the food is like any other restaurant but I do enjoy their food. Especially the chicken quesadillas and the mac and cheese bites! I will say, when we went, there was a family that was seated behind us who kept cussing extremely loud and just being extremely rude. Myself and a mother from another family kept looking at each other and was saying that this is ridiculous. The person who kept carrying on would not stop. I'm not sure why the staff did not interfere with the customer. But other than that, good is great. Even my two uncles go to Roosters literally everyday as they love their food. read more

Staying next door at the Holiday Inn for business, we ended up walking over to Roosters a couple of nights for dinner. The place is huge with two big seating areas. They've got TVs everywhere and the service is friendly and attentive and, oh yeah, 22oz Yuengling for $2.75 during HH. I tried some wings with a couple of sauces during my first visit. The wings were huge, juicy and very saucy. They were pushing the almost-too-saucy limit for me, but they were pretty good. I had a burger during my second visit and it was cooked perfectly. 5/30/2015 Lunchtime 11am-12pm Greeted the instant I walked through the door. Just opened for lunch so seating was immediate. Nice atmosphere and really nice decor. Placed has appropriate lighting, not to bright, not too dark. Place is very clean. So a A+ for appearance and cleanliness. Unfortunately all the females servers hung out the entire time gossiping. Right at the bar in direct line of sight when you walk in. I ordered 4 grilled chicken strips and a bowl of chili. Chili was nothing special. Wendy's chili is better. The chicken strips were grill nice and were not dried out. All in all, this place seems to be nothing special. A okay place but I would not choose it again. Food was good, but our appetizers were served at the same time as our meal..., which defeats the purpose of the appetizer. Our wait staff addressed me, for a drink refill, but failed to ask my wife. After our meal, we continued to visit with our friends... but once our bill was payed, NOT ONCE were we asked if anyone would like another refill on our drinks. Very clean when we walked in. The staff was very friendly. We sat quickly and this was during the NCAA tournament and there were plenty of TVs to see whatever you wanted. The menu has a lot of items I wanted to try. We got some salads, a chicken wrap, a burger, tots and the dumpster fries. We are everything. I tried a few sauces and I thought they were good and also unique. I tried the Donkey sauce and it wasn't too spicy. It was perfect. I tried their medium and it is a butter based sauce. Small parking lot!! I pulled into the parking lot as another vehicle was backing out. I had to make a wide turn that caused my drivers side front tire go onto the edge of the grass (less than the width of my foot). Well unfortunately, My tire brushed up against a HUGE rock and ended up busting my rim. I brought this to the attention of the manager, whom informed me the owner was still there. Upon politely speaking to the manager, and showing him the rock and the damage that it did. All he could say was " Sorry, nothing I can do " I gave him an idea.. How about removing the rock? Two were not even covered in the sauce that the other were. 1 was drizzled in it, the remaining had enough sauce to cover and tasted good. Warning: do not schedule a party/large dining event here. Holidays 2018 - planned a 40 person office gathering here. Called ahead to plan several weeks prior... called two days before to remind them as well as set up an order of appetizers for the crowd. They said no problem, we'll have it. I showed up early the day of, they were unaware of the incoming party that was headed that way. I assisted to set up the tables quickly with the staff. Oh and the apps, they never heard of them. So they rushed those out well after the guests had been sitting around. Holidays 2019 - Tried it again, but only a group of 8 people. I thought for sure they'd be able to handle only a group of 8. Wrong! One guest got his food after everyone else had finished theirs because we had to remind them to bring it out ... the waitress barely checked in after that. What seems like a manager or supervisor started to help out at some point. We had to request dressings/sauce at least three times. He said he was sorry and that is not how they usually operate, well from all my experience in the Marysville Roosters with groups, this is business as usual. Lesson learned, twice. A great alternative to the crowded Columbus Rosters restaurants for those of us in NW Columbus. Our server was pleasant and the food was delivered quickly and right the first time. I love roosters. This is by far my favorite wing place I believe their wings are very large compared to some other places like a BW3 or Beef O'Brady's. The Waitresses are always really nice people are good they got great cold draft beer I got hot wings always go with the donkey wings with ranch and fries with no telling how much money I've spent in this place to be honest. But I've never had a bad meal here, steak and potato chicken wing type of dude and this is right up my alley I put this above Hooters I put this above any other wing place this is by far my favorite sports bars American bar whatever you want to call it. A lot of good reviews of the wings so I gave it a try while in town. There was a bit of a wait on a Thursday night so they must be doing something right. I had 10 medium wings and curly fries. I also had a half salad. The salad was very good and was a good add on. I like wings and these were very good. Tender, cooked just right, and hot. Loved them. The fries were good also. First of all, I love Roosters, but I won't return to this location. Today is Presidents' Day, school is out and the weather is good, so the owner should think they might be busy. I arrive and It looks like there's four servers for the entire restaurant. Actually, I believe the owner initially waited on me, and got my order mostly right. This place is seemingly always busy but somehow they get you taken care of. I have been here quite a few times and despite the craziness we have always had a great waitress who has gotten us taken care of. The wings are the star of the show here and they are, without a doubt, clearly the best wings you are going to find in Columbus. They are breaded though so if that isn't your forte you can ask for unbreaded. If you go that route, the "naked" route as they call it, I'd highly recommend asking for additional sauce on the side as the sauce doesn't stick to the naked wings as well. Every flavor I've had here has been great but I'm partial to their Teryaki and their Hot as my "go to" favorites. This place also has fantastic fried mushrooms. If you are a mushroom lover you simply must try their mushrooms. What I like best about this place is all the fried food tastes like they just changed the fryer. One thing I am always wary of is going to a bar or a fried food type place and the food tastes like they need to change the fryer oil. Not here, it's always just top notch in that regards. One last thing, this place is pretty good on the wallet too. Although it's not a McDonalds or fast food by any means you will find you spend less here than at a competitor like Buffalo Wings & Rings or Buffalo Wild Wings. They have some really great happy hour specials too that make that even better. And on a related note, if you want a catered event they are clearly the best food at the best price. I had them cater my Fantasy Football draft and it was not too expensive and all of my out of town friends raved about them. Plenty of big screen tv's to catch your favorite sporting events and a great place on "football Saturdays" to watch THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY football games. Roosters, if it were not for your amazingly delicious and juicy wings, I probably would have said, "To Hell with you!" The Marysville Roosters is the only location I have ever been to, so I can't compare this to any other locations unfortunately. The waitresses at this location are almost unbearable. They're all high school seniors with thick makeup, bad hair jobs, and pouty "whatever" expressions on their faces. You get service, but whether it's good or not is at your discretion. I found out this weekend that sitting at the bar opposed to their floor seating and ginormous six top tables is better, and at least you know your bartender is not some bratty high school-er. Don't come to roosters expecting anything more than a redneck man cave, because you'll be grossly disappointed. Beer signs, Nascar signs, and really bad redneck humor signs attempt to hide the awful wooden paneling strewn about the place. The floors are always slick like with foods remnants and grease, and most often the tables are sticky with leftovers and spilled beer. The only thing I can recommend to appease your stomach is their wings. Whether you like traditional, boneless, or even chicken tenders, you won't be disappointed in the size, or the sauces. Roosters has one of the best Medium wing sauces other than an old joint called "Buffalo Wings and Rings", which is no longer in business. Roosters has a plethora of sauces sure to satisfy any palate. Another thing that Rooster's has going right is their bleu cheese dressing. It's a creamy, thick mixture, on the verge of fluffiness. It's a simple surprise compared to out of the bottle bleu cheese dressing. They must add sour cream, or something else to it, but it makes it a heavenly additive to almost any food served here. Drinks are well priced as boasted by the Honda associates. Their on draught shouldn't disappoint, and they also have a full bar to wet most whistles. My only disappoint is that they don't serve High Life. Can't a classy lady get her champagne of beer? Come on, now! The subs are good, the pizza is mediocre-boring, and the appetizers are dull, so pass on that and dessert. Feast like a king on meat and beer, and you'll feel like a champion.
