However, the experience I had later just makes me fully convinced and grateful : he informed me that he had already fixed several hours after I dropped it over his garage. We have used Bens Lawn Mower repair for a few years now. When we started using Ben our home was closer. We now live further away however we trust in his estimates and quality of service. I had a Honda lawnmower with a whole host of problems (hard to start, starter rope broken, self-propel feature broken, needed an oil change, question if blade needed to be sharpened). Dropped it off with a note to this effect and my number. That night Ben called to let me know he had done a tune up, cleaned the carburetor, so that it now started with one pull and replaced the starter rope. He also let me know that the blade did not need sharpening, and how to avoid the problem with the carburetor, so that I would not need his service again! (the self propel part was too expensive to warrant repair) Couldn't be more pleased, easy to use service, honest and cheap! read more

Ben helped me out of a jam with my old Craftsman lawnmower with Briggs & Stratton engine. After many years, the engine was running fine, but the output cover for the base of the lawnmower would not stay in place: a bracket on the base had rusted completely through in one spot, allowing the cover pin to slip out. I called Ben and asked if he could weld on a new bracket. Ben had a better idea: replace the base. Now I have a lawnmower with a base that looks brand new (especially compared to what I had). Now I can cut my lawn without getting grass all over the side of the house, and without worrying about flying objects injuring anybody nearby. read more

He was able to fix the carburetor and get the mower running again, but it was still making an odd noise, so Ben went above and beyond and replaced the carburetor with a new one he had on hand at no extra charge to me.
