I've tried the s'mores pretzel, the pizza pretzel, and a classic salted pretzel with queso on the side, and honestly... no misses. The salted pretzel is soft on the inside, perfectly chewy, and that queso? Dangerous. Warm, creamy, and the perfect amount of salty to make you keep dipping until it's gone. The pizza pretzel is exactly what you want when you can't decide between carbs and pizza -- fluffy pretzel dough loaded with sauce and cheese that actually tastes balanced, not greasy. But the s'mores pretzel deserves its own shoutout. Chocolate, marshmallow, graham vibes all wrapped in a warm pretzel is unreal. Sweet, melty, and 100% worth the mess. Everything is fresh, hot, and made with care, and it's become one of those booths I actively look for every weekend. If you see this truck at a market, do yourself a favor and get in line. You won't regret it.

There are actually 2 Auntie Anne's located inside the Orange Park Mall, but only 1 of them is listed on Yelp. That's ok though, because they are both great with excellent employees, so they would both get the same review from me anyway. I love watching them make the pretzels. Everything I've ever gotten from either stand in the OP Mall has been fresh and mighty tasty. Hubby and I go see A LOT of movies in the AMC Theatre which is attached to the OP Mall, and quite often we'll make a pit stop at Auntie Anne's and grab a couple of pretzels or pretzels dogs and take them into the theatre with us. Yes, they sell soft pretzels in the theatre, but they are gross and are like triple the cost of one of Auntie Anne's pretzels. So I buy them and shove them in my over-sized purse. Works for me! Shhhhhh!

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

The first major issue was the fact that they will not split checks for you and will actually put all orders on one bill and make you figure it all out. We had a large party and the server stood around while we all had to figure out what was owed for almost 30 minutes. We got a manager and he stated that their policy is to only split a check up to 4 ways, regardless of how many parties are involved. I used to serve tables many times before I got into real estate and have never seen a restaurant with such a dumb policy. I asked to reduce the server's gratuity from the forced 20% on a large party to 15% since we had to spend our time doing her job and the manager said he could not accommodate that. FYI, they like to calculate gratuity based on AFTER they add in sales tax. So you are paying their forced gratuity on sales tax as well. Service was awful, slow, and we had to refill our own drinks multiple times. The server could not even clear our table properly like you would expect at most restaurants with this type of atmosphere. The food was mid. The only thing this place had going was the atmosphere. If it is this difficult to figure out how to split payments with multiple parties and is supposedly "policy", I can't imagine this business will last and certainly won't recommend them to anyone.

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, offering sweeping, breathtaking views over the river whether you choose to sit indoors or enjoy the outdoor setting. The establishment is impeccably clean, maintaining a spotless and vibrant atmosphere throughout. The service was wonderfully relaxed yet thorough. My server, Eileen, exuded an easygoing, unhurried warmth that allowed me to truly settle in and savor the experience. Out of curiosity, I began with a Bloody Mary, which was expertly crafted, crisp, and delightfully spiced a complete triumph for an afternoon by the water. For my course, I selected the Sausage Roulette from the menu. When it arrived, it was an absolute culinary delight flavorful, cooked to perfection, and thoroughly satisfying. While the preparation took a gentle moment, the spectacular river scenery and exceptional cuisine made the time pass effortlessly. Between the stunning panoramic views, exquisite offerings, and charming hospitality, Hoptinger Bier Garden & Sausage House earns full marks from me. A memorable afternoon I shall most certainly be returning

I had the simply titled Steak In A Sack, which I liked. It's not a brunch dish that's going to set the world on fire but it's gonna hit the spot. The biggest surprise to me was how much I liked the side of potatoes. I'm the type of person who salts everything but these were seasoned so well that I didn't haven't to. My wife ordered the French Toast Burger out of sheer curiosity. It was exactly what she guessed it would be. She hit it with a fork & knife like I did with the steak in a sack and she finished most of it! She also loved the potatoes. It's worth noting that our server was a delightful woman named Eileen. We were the first ones through the door at 10am today but she greeted us with a smile and took great care of us the whole time.
