Made it my name initial as well (Jk all their pretzels are HUGE)

Found this truck at Dancing in the streets, and let me tell you, from the beginning to end experience, Tim introducing himself, to the service, The food was AMAZING because that queso and a salted pretzel was the BEST combo I've ever had. pretzel was hot and fresh, Soft, And the best pretzel I've had.

Hot Box Pretzels is going places! I've been following g Roman the young entrepreneur from the beginning & you should be too. His business is exploding not only for his drive but for his delicious product. Huge pretzels in about a dozen gourmet flavors. This time I was lucky enough to catch his truck at the Halloween event in Nocatee. I got a few of his pretzels to share with friends who've never had the pleasure & boy did they flip over those pretzels. I got the old stand by with queso dip & then made up my own ( you can get a variety of drizzles) which was Nutella. Wow! That one was sooo good. The pretzels are so large it is enough to share with 4 people. I'd follow that truck anywhere & I do!

I am so glad I got to try this food truck at a staff appreciation event at my work. I'm assuming we were served smaller pretzels then what they normally provide after looking at other pictures posted. We were allowed to get 2 of the 5 different flavors and 1 of 3 dips. I opted for the garlic parm with queso and smores. The pretzels came out quick, hot and fresh. Man, they were absolutely delicious! The garlic parm was coated with flavor. The pretzel was slightly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Just like a pretzel should be. The queso dip was on point and a perfectly creamy compliment to the garlic parm flavor. The smores pretzel was covered in chocolate, marshmallow and crispy Graham crumbs. I'm sure it would have been an explosion of flavors with the Nutella dip, but honestly it didn't need it. I'm not quite sure I would have tried this truck on my own. But I am so happy I was able to have the opportunity to eat these amazing pretzels. So I'm here to say....try the truck, get the pretzels and pay the money. Totally worth it!

Having seen this truck on TV but never seeing it around town, was stoked to get a chance to try it out! Pretzels did not disappoint. We got an original style with queso and a cinnamon with icing dip. The OG pretzel was dense and also fluffy. It didn't have that "mall kiosk" kind of flavor. It was a very nice touch of salt and butter along with what I want out of a soft pretzel - soft! The queso it comes with was delicious too - a little spicy and not enough to overwhelm the pretzel. Cinnamon sugar was good too - not too sweet, heavier on the cinnamon. My kid said it needed more sugar but he's 9, so take it for what you will. The icing dip was nice. Again unlike your mall pretzel, was thin and not overly sweet. Glad we finally got a chance!

If you love a soft, warm, delicious pretzel , this is the food truck of your dreams! We heard they were coming to a soccer event near our neighborhood and we had to give them a try. The pretzels are HUGE and fresh!!! If your a lover of hot pretzels like we are give them a try. We loved them so much, we now follow them on social media!!! The added bonus is supporting local college students!

They're service was awsome and their food is even better. I highly recommend the sugar cinnamon bites with the Nutella.

Yesterday was my first visit, and I ordered the Reuben sliders, the regular Reuben, a turkey slider, and the beer cheese soup. Everything was absolutely delicious! I also tried the key lime cookie, and it was so good that I had to go back today for another one. Because my first experience was so great, I returned the very next day to try something different. This time, I had the sausage and chicken gumbo, along with (yes!) another key lime cookie. The gumbo was flavorful and comforting--definitely a great choice. What truly stood out the most, though, was the service. On my first visit, my waitress--who was also managing--along with another server, were incredibly polite and courteous. Although I can't remember their names, they were both exceptional. Today, I had the best cashier/server who even brought me a sample of the gumbo before I ordered. I also met the kitchen manager, who was friendly and confident about the dish, and the general manager came out to introduce himself and was very welcoming. This place is a 10 out of 10! I will absolutely be coming back on my next visit to Jacksonville. I love this place! Kesha Bentley #MississippiGirl

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

I arrived unaware of its history, but the owner's love for basketball is unmistakable, and the locals reflect that same devotion... not just to the sport, but to the space itself. There's an ease here, a sense that people aren't just passing through. I took a seat at the bar, did what one does in such environments, and ordered an IPA. It was solid... confident, balanced, exactly what you'd hope for. But then came the onion rings, which I ordered based on a subtle but unmistakable social cue: everyone else seemed to be eating them. Reader, they were correct. These were not mere onion rings. These were structurally sound, texturally precise, and philosophically complete. Large, fully cooked onions, no trace of that unpleasant raw bite, encased in a crisp, golden coating that somehow maintained its integrity from first bite to last. Crunchy, consistent, and deeply satisfying. Naturally, I paired them with blue cheese dressing because I'm from upstate New York, and that is not a preference, it is doctrine.

The gator tail and fish dip are two of my favorites for small bites/appetizers. The Elk burger, the Taphouse burger, and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich are always amazing....and then there's the cole slaw...yummy! Delicious food, and they have more than just sandwiches. The first major issue was the fact that they will not split checks for you and will actually put all orders on one bill and make you figure it all out. We had a large party and the server stood around while we all had to figure out what was owed for almost 30 minutes. We got a manager and he stated that their policy is to only split a check up to 4 ways, regardless of how many parties are involved. I used to serve tables many times before I got into real estate and have never seen a restaurant with such a dumb policy. I asked to reduce the server's gratuity from the forced 20% on a large party to 15% since we had to spend our time doing her job and the manager said he could not accommodate that. FYI, they like to calculate gratuity based on AFTER they add in sales tax. So you are paying their forced gratuity on sales tax as well. Service was awful, slow, and we had to refill our own drinks multiple times. The server could not even clear our table properly like you would expect at most restaurants with this type of atmosphere. The food was mid. The only thing this place had going was the atmosphere. If it is this difficult to figure out how to split payments with multiple parties and is supposedly "policy", I can't imagine this business will last and certainly won't recommend them to anyone.
