My kitchen double pane Anderson window was cracked and needs repair before the winter storm hits. At the end of the day, I picked Benson b/c he seems to have better reviews and the reviews looks legit IMO. I reached out to Benson over yelp by providing a few photos and measurements. Benson replied via yelp with quotes and later we exchanged phone number to make the service appointments. He knows his trade and he is well informed me the details. He disassembled my window frame and replaced with a new double pane window. Replaced the old screws with the longer screws as the wood frame is deteriorated. Tested the window operator handle to ensure the window is able to open / closed freely. Cleaned up the broken glasses and leaves no mess behind. It has been a week since the window pane got replaced on Nov 4th, 2021 and I am satisfied and highly recommended to others. I called on a Saturday when the frame of my window came apart. Benson called me the same day, told me he'd be here Monday and would confirm on Sunday evening. He did that, and showed up on time (in NYC that alone is 4/5 stars...). I contacted him to fix a balcony door that wouldn't close. I contacted several companies and after looking at photos, they all said the door would need to be removed and hinges replaced completely. Benson replied quickly, gave a reasonable quote, set up a time to view the balcony door, hammered the crap out of one of the hinges and fixed my balcony door.
