I was called back immediately…read moren taken to pre-op for my IV, I was so nervous I think this next surgery I'm having I'm gonna ask for something to kinda relax me instead of going straight to the anesthesia cuz when they wheeled me into that room my anxiety was thru the roof..but next thing I know I'm awake 2hrs later n ready to go home! I also just did my 3rd pre-op appt. there n it was a same day appointment within 2hrs of my appointment with dr Steven's they had me in there! the nurses are so sweet n the front office staff as well.. Then I walked an entire block on it out of shock. By the time this man got to my foot in the E.R. It needed to be scraped clean inside and out, pinned back together. It took four separate surgeries. I am NOT a nice patient under any medications. He was always always more than kind. His surgery was as good as it could get. Most football players do not recover as fast as I have from this and mine was about as bad as it could get. Had an open fracture, busted all metatarsals. Miraculously I am already walking. My accident was August 10th. I have been walking since September 19th!! He is an AWESOME surgeon!!! Even better person! More than recommend!! He goes out of his way for his patients. Even us riled and wild ones. I will never be able to truly thank him enough!

Dr. Fischer operated on my arm and wrist last year due to a congenital defect in my Ulnar bone (too…read morelong). It required an Ulnar shortening osteotomy and therefore a plate was screwed into my forearm to hold the Ulnar together while the bone healed from the surgery. It is way ahead of schedule for healing and I look forward to having the plate surgically removed in August, 2015. The scar is not visible (amazing work!). Anything to do with the wrist or forearm, Dr. Fischer should be the only selection. He is fantastic!
