This is a MUST dinner stop when staying in Sorrento. The food was EXCELLENT. It's family-owned and operated establishment down to their bus boy; he is the cutest. The waiter, who I'm pretty sure was the owner's son, explained where every ingredient came from. Although the experience felt very fancy, the prices were reasonable.

This was one of the best places, if not the best place, I dined at in Italy. The staff is SO incredibly kind and attentive and the food is incredible. The burrata was stunning and prepared with accents that I've never had with burrata before. Their pasta dish that featured bolognese was also amazing amazing amazing. I absolutely recommend coming here.

Lovely family run resto with amazing food and service. The fried apps were each different and tasty- arancini, eggplant, potato! We had ravioli and pasta with clams. My wife had the cod and said it was the best. House red wine was a perfect match. Highly recommended, very close to Hilton Sorrento Palace.

Ravioli with Zuchinni and shrimp marinated in lemon... incredible

Just an incredible spot for the best food in Sorrento. Gianfranco is a kind and gracious host and his wife an incredible chef. Two of my 4 dinners were at this restaurant and I recommended to two friends who were very appreciative as well for the gourmet food. The menu is very well done with photos of all the selections. The first night I had the local fried smoked cheese with escarole and fresh tomatoes and the squash ravioli with shrimps marinated in lemon... both incredible and for the main dish eggplant parmigiana... the best of my life. Such an incredible spot with amazing food. Not too be missed. Thank you Gianfranco

From our entire Italy trip. Our family voted this our #1 favorite restaurant. We arrived to Sorrento and we are soo glad we stumbled upon this place because it was where dreams are made. When I tell you we were eating in silence because we were in love with our food! The Bolognese pasta was incredible and such a high standard from here on out to any classic dish I have from here on out. Lemon pasta seafood. Amazing very subtle not over powering. Steak cooked perfectly. We were given homemade complimentary bread and bread sticks. We devoured it so quickly I didn't even get to take a picture. This is a family ran restaurant husband providing top tier quality service. He explained every dish every fresh local ingredient. Wife was throwing it down in the kitchen with a glass clear view of her making all the fresh pasta and clean line of the gorgeous kitchen. Limoncello spritz was delicious and great strong pour. The tiramisu was a great table side pour presentation and sealed the deal the perfect meal. This is the BEST place in Sorrento

Great spot off the beaten path! The owner or manager was so nice and made us feel very welcomed. I have a severe tree nut allergy and they were very accommodating and helpful with letting me know what I could order. We got the homemade scialatielli with clams and lemon sauce, the pasta bolognese, and the steak. Complimentary focaccia was also great. Everything was excellent, would definitely go back!

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Just a short 2 minute walk from the heavily touristed streets, you'll find this special place. A small, family run establishment, every dish that was served was prepared by one woman. If you sit inside, which is comfortable and cozy, you can watch her masterfully move around the kitchen at a pace you have to see to believe. We have been traveling around Europe for 2 weeks and this was by far the best bread we've had yet. Airy focaccia made in house with the perfect blend of salt and herbs. We also enjoyed a smoked cheese appetizer, cod entree and ragu pasta, all of which were not only beautifully plated, but tasted like a slice of heaven. One of our favorite meals of the trip and certainly in Sorrento.

Stopped by at lunch time to make a reservation for dinner. Was told that they were full. Nothing the next night. Full the next night too.

(We came to appreciate any pubs we encountered in Italy). Then one rainy night we ducked in for a break, ordering beer, chips and a couple entrees to share. The rain, the atmosphere, the good food, made for an enjoyable night. Then after a full day out and about, Piccadilly was beckoning. Once again it was exactly the comfort we needed. Good drinks, good food and great service. It's got a cozy atmosphere, regardless of the time of day. The staff was friendly and informative, no issues whatsoever. I know there's a popular pasta place around the corner (you pick pasta shape, sauce, etc). But if it's a hearty steak or burger, sandwiches, best bean soup, charcuterie, chips, etc. Then drop by! (Check Google maps for lots of food photos)

At first, I thought there was some confusion, but it became clear that the server was refusing to help us. He directed us to another server who was on break and ignored our questions. Later, I overheard him speaking English to other European patrons. We had a prosecco and a negroni. The Negroni was slightly watered down, but the house prosecco was good. However, the hassle, especially on vacation, wasn't worth it. There are plenty of other lovely places with great ambiance, service, and reasonable prices. Save yourself the aggravation. Also, check out the bathroom--pictures below. This was around 10:15 p.m with several tables being served and actively accepting more guests.
