I had to replace my bumper for my corolla, and even before I chose to work with them, Ray a few months back, had already helped me with some advice to sort of sit with this displaced bumper for a little bit until a real repair is necessary, so he saved me for a couple of months, until driving on the freeway, kicked the bumper out of place and started flapping as I drove. I then came back to Ray to have JP auto take care of it, at which point Ray was already giving me my options and educating me on how to go about this in a cheaper manner, even if it means not working with JP auto, which shows integrity, and again, great customer service. I sat with the idea, and the next day I called and Javier picked up, and he handled the down payment essentially, and the ordering of the parts, and he was great. I communicating to me the turnaround time and keeping me posted. Finally, I dropped off my car, and picked it up within a week, and Jay was helping me get my car out and finishing with the payment process. I'm telling you, customer service was fantastic, and it went such a long way, especially within the auto maintenance industry, where people feel most vulnerable and most likely feel scammed. They fix the bumper and it almost looks like the same shade as before I messed it up, so they did a great job with that, and an addition, they shine my wheels! I had recently got a 2023 BMW a few months ago and was hit on the passenger side by someone who fell asleep behind the wheel on my way to work, leaving dents and scratches on both my front and rear passenger doors. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of hiring someone from Facebook Marketplace to repair the damage. Instead of fixing it, he ultimately ruined my car; terrible dent repair and factory paint job. He then ghosted me when I confronted him. Definitely learned my lesson. Sometimes paying a little more for a professional (like Reliance) is worth every penny. Thankfully, I found Reliance Auto Collision & Rental, and they completely exceeded my expectations. They truly earned their i-CAR Gold Certification! The dent repair and paintwork came out flawless and perfect, you can't even tell anything ever happened. I originally brought my car in just to repair the two passenger doors, but they also noticed scratches on my side skirt and another side of my car and took care of those as well. That level of attention to detail and customer care meant a lot. The turnaround time here was also top tier. Another shop quoted me 2-3 weeks (or longer) and overall was not very transparent about the timeline. I dropped my car off on Sunday (on their off day), and they had it ready for me by Friday, in less than a week. I had a minor incident that left considerable scratches, markings, and a small dent or two on my 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander (not white). I dropped by just to get an estimate, and even though I didn't make an appointment, Elias was cool & considerate enough to still take me and checked it out. Where one collision repair shop in Fruitvale estimated $1800 (to take the whole panel off and work it), and another in Hayward estimated over $500, Elias hooked me up with the MOST unbelievable subtracting discount! I think & imagine I would only see something reserved to be offered in that degree given to a business owners' personal family or friends! To add to the exceptional, he and his guy offered to take care of me right there and then even though it was the late in the day (and it's not like I didn't see other cars being worked on too). I waited with him in his office, and we were just shooting the breeze. Elias is just the coolest, chillest, most laid back, most personable guy. A guy that's eager to do you a favor, do what he can for you; completely why you can see how I described him/them as an establishment/person that will treat & take care of you like a family or friend. Couple notes about this place -- try not to park in the back, they do work there with cars coming in & out (it's not just for temporarily placing cars like I thought haha); just park in front of the garage opening (he prefers it right outside his office to see what has to be done). Also, as mentioned before, it's best to make an appointment even for an estimate. Elias (and Jake[?]) and his guy (I really wish I got his name; because I highly doubt I would've gotten such an awesome outcome if he wasn't willing as well) are the best!
