My Mazda crossover has taken a few hits over the years: smashed rear bumper, broken side mirror, dented trunk. Full disclosure - I haven't used CG&E for my car. But I just got off the phone with them as I was inquiring about getting a full paint job on my Tesla to give it new life. The person I spoke with informed me that they don't usually work on Teslas because they aren't Tesla certified. If they were to unplug any wiring for the job it would cancel out my warranty. I didn't ask him about their Tesla certification. I didn't know to. He then told me the two closest places that are. What a standup guy and company. I was hit from behind at a stop sign. At the time, I didn't see any visible damage except for some scuffing on my bike rack. It turns out, the screw that attaches the bike rack to the tow hitch was badly bent and I couldn't take it off. Victor took 10 minutes to get it the screw out and didn't charge me for that service. I was scanning through yelp to find an autobody shop that I could bring my BMW to and stumbled upon CG&E Autobody. After reading the amazing reviews, I decided to reach out to get a quote to fix my bumpers/windshield. Victor responded right away and was extremely kind and helpful. I was able to send him photos of the damages and he gave me a rough estimate, which was very convenient. (Side note - I got quotes from the autobody shop with the same name in Redwood City on Middlefield, and they quoted me DOUBLE the price) I brought my car in to the shop and Victor took his time to look at all of the damage on my bumpers, as well as the peeling sealant on my windshield.
