Our back doors have a weird lock that's integrated into the handles and door frame that was apparently a custom type of lock the builder installed. This lock broke and would no longer lock, or even "catch" when the door closed to keep the door closed without locking it. I called Ben and he was on time for our appointment, diagnosed the problem pretty quickly, and got the lock mechanism functional. I was a little nervous about the lock not being "as good as new" on a main floor entry door, so Ben suggested we swap the lock for a similar one on a door upstairs, since ordering a replacement would take several weeks and be very expensive--genius! The swap went very well and was very quick, and the upstairs door locks perfectly well for a door that receives almost no traffic.
