I went grocery shopping and accidentally locked my keys in my trunk. I blame skipping lunch and becoming delusional from it! I've never done that before /cries. Thankfully I had a little juice left on my phone to Yelp a locksmith in the area. I sent a text message to my friend saying "Phone about to die, if I'm not home when you are, please come pick up at where I was shopping". Then I Yelp away. I called two other places that were first in the listings and boy were they not helpful. One is a 24/7 place but didn't have anyone to help. The other was a automated answer, and I got no time to listen to the options...my phone is dying. This one is great because you get a live person on the line right away, they'll tell you how much, they come right to you, and they're fast! I called at 6:10pm, David (the locksmith) got to me at 6:30pm in Irvine. Apparently it's really troublesome when you lock your keys in your trunk with a newer car. It locks the entire car down. So when David heard my keys were in my trunk, he said it's a 50/50 chance that the button will pop my trunk. If it doesn't, we would figure out a way to open the trunk. When David arrived, he was so friendly, efficient, and very stylish. He was super well-dressed, which really made me feel better as he had to crawl all around my car. Anyways, he pumped my driver door ajar a bit and then managed to open the door. I pressed the trunk button, but my trunk did not pop open. Next he looks at my backseat and calls someone at the office (I'm guessing) to ask about my car model and where a latch is. He opens my backseat in 5 minutes and crawls through the space to pop the trunk and grab my keys. AMAZING SERVICE!! Beginning to end white glove treatment :) I was so happy. read more

I needed to put a lock at an outside enclosure. I found CF Locksmith from Yelp and I texted them pictures. David called and said he would come by and take a look. After he looked at the enclosure, he said that this was not a lock problem. He spent time talking to me about the problem and recommended someone else who might be able to help. He was generous with his time and ideas. Good helpful people like David are hard to come by. He did not charge for his time. I definitely will hire him the next time I need a locksmith. read more

This company is legit. Best locksmith experience ever. David dropped by on a same-day appt, suggested we improve our not so amazing locks for just a bit more than just re-keying on our 4 external doors (which would need 3 different keys). I had an issue with a door lock on my truck and it was recommended to me by my dealership that I contact a locksmith to fix it. For them, it would have been overkill. I attempted to obtain quotes from several different companies and they stated that they don't do vehicles. This company stated that they could do it. I called these guys and they were here in less than 20 minutes so I wasn't even late for my appointment AND he charged me a great price. His name was David and he was super cool and very fast. I had thought I was locked out of my home because of a non working garage door (I don't have my house key), so I called David to come and open my house door. While waiting for him to come, I checked around the house for any unlocked doors or windows. I found my roommate had left a door unlocked. We decided to change our locks because one wasn't turning and we wanted a key pad deadbolt. I attempted to complete this task by myself but after an hour I gave up. Extremely fast response for a quote, and only took about 20 minute to make it out to to my store to fix the problem. Overall, the whole process took about an hour. They were able to cut the locking mechanism out of our pull down roll cage, and install a new one and get us back in working order. Would definitely recommend using them. read more
