My daughter's prescription for her ADHD medication was sent to this location. When we arrived to pick it up, the staff couldn't locate her insurance information and claimed it was coming up as "unknown." Fair enough--things happen. But what followed was beyond unacceptable. I calmly told them I would just pay out of pocket and use a GoodRx coupon I had used many times before. They told me the medication would be $100 without insurance, but my GoodRx brought it down to $35--yet they refused to honor it. Their excuse? "We don't accept GoodRx for narcotics." That's simply not true--and when I asked when that policy changed (because I've used it for this exact medication before), the pharmacy tech gave me attitude and responded with a sarcastic, "Well if she has insurance, how did you use it before?" It was a completely unnecessary and condescending remark--especially when I'm just trying to make sure my child gets the medication she needs. They were dismissive, rude, and clearly just wanted us to walk away without filling the prescription. They acted like I was trying to scam them by... offering to pay? They literally told me they wouldn't even let me pay without an insurance card. I've never heard of a pharmacy refusing a paying customer unless it was out of stock or unsafe to dispense. After going back and forth, they reluctantly agreed to fill it "just this once" using GoodRx--but told me next time we'd need to "figure something out" if she didn't have insurance. No actual solution, just more attitude. When I called Walgreens corporate, they confirmed I was absolutely allowed to use GoodRx and pay cash, and that there was no valid reason for the way I was treated. It's absolutely unacceptable that a major pharmacy chain is allowing such hostile and judgmental staff to be the gatekeepers of essential medication. This experience ruined my entire day--not just because of the runaround, but because of the cold, accusatory way we were treated. Looking at the reviews, it's clear we're not alone. This is consistently the worst Walgreens pharmacy around, and it's shameful that it's still operating like this. Do better.

They took my Covid vaccine card and said I could not get it back until I received my booster. I understand that things happen but it was very discouraging because I could not even reschedule. As they refused to give me my vaccine card, therefore "forcing" me to stay and wait. I was extremely upset and politely conveyed this to the person behind the counter. My concerns fell on deaf ears, she walked away, without making any comment, except to say " taking your card is our policy". You cannot have it back until you receive your shot. So although they provide a service, be prepared to wait a bit even though you may have a scheduled appointment. Most told me they waited 45 minutes to an hour.

The one young gentleman behind the pharmacy to quote stated, "Why don't people just wait for the text that their prescriptions are ready instead of wasting my time asking if its ready." The older gentleman waiting just shook his head and muttered "are you serious?" while my husband stated loudly "If you hate your job that much, just quit!" At this point, they decided to stop their conversation and open the pharmacy. They were no more pleasant than they were before they opened, where they acted as if they didn't know what Zrytec-D was, couldn't find it, so they just stated that they didn't carry it. Which they do but I wasn't going to get into an argument as we were already annoyed. We just walked out and went to Walgreens across the street. This is why this store looks like it closing and always empty. I am copying this review to their corporate office.
