But recently they added additional tables to accommodate more customers. This has slightly reduced the coziness that used to be there in the past. But the service is great as usual. Person forgot both pastries, we asked about them, she then put one of the two in the heater and again forgot the second, we asked a second time, she gave us an eye roll and a snarky response. Good coffee, good staff, cold surroundings. The coffee here is good and the staff cheerful and helpful. But bring a warm jacket during the winter as the whole place is always cold! I enjoyed my first onsite visit (5/20/23). I had visited a nearby pastry shop and was headed to another pop up & lunch further down Bothell Way/Bothell-Everett Highway. I ended up with a perfectly shaded spot with the heady scent of nearby roses. My preYelp visits were during my Canyon Park days and when I did a disposable diaper donation meetup in the parking lot. So it was nice to revisit after a long hiatus. There is a drive through, outdoor patio seating, vast indoor seating with AC. Decent pastry case selections, assorted merch, and really cool interior artwork featured. The counter staff/baristas were super efficient and friendly. I even got an extra butterhorn since the other one was inadvertently broken, that was very kind. The bacon cheddar scone heated up well a day or so later. The 16oz iced mocha was spot on, well crafted on that toasty Saturday. Bothell has sure grown and come into its own over the past 23 years. Was in the area to pickup stuff from a friend early in the morning, so I pull up my maps app and search for caffè ladro, hoping to find one on the way. Booom, this one was just 5 mins from my destination, how lucky! Nice little spot delivering the usual caffè ladro amazingness. Got my usual cortado and espresso chip cake, did not disappoint, best caffe ladro combo imho. I saw a drive through outside, but it was unclear to me if it was actually working, no signs and nobody in line, despite the fact that the store itself was quite full of people. I like the vibe here. Nice decor, spacious patio for nicer weather, not too crowded inside. Very kind and friendly staff. I ESPECIALLY love that they have vegan options for baked goods! That's a rarity in Bothell and this part of the greater Seattle area in general. Today they had a vegan berry muffin and a vegan oat bar. I had the muffin and it was delicious! Most people would have no idea it was vegan. They also do non-dairy milks (almond, hemp, soy, or oat) for 85 cents more. The wooden chairs are a little uncomfortable if you are sitting there for awhile. But that's my only real gripe. There are other cafes whose coffee I prefer flavour-wise, but I'll still keep going here regularly for those vegan muffins :) Thanks for offering vegan options! read more

I came all the way to this Ladro because it seemed like this was the only open location on Christmas. Now that I got my coffee, it really feels likes Christmas. I loved the customer service and the energy from Dri who is the store manager for this location. She was absolutely phenomenal and her latte is amazing! It's much bigger space than any other Ladros that I have been to and has that southern feel to it. If you are around lynwood, check it out and you won't be disappointed with Dri's latte skills. read more

I have driven by this cafe dozens of times and always thought about stopping in. When I finally did, I kicked myself a little for not stopping in sooner. I had an Irish cream latte and was so pleased with the way the drink was prepared. The espresso was strong and smooth but not overpowering and well complemented by the milk and flavoring. The batista was obviously very experienced and friendly to boot. I went later in the day so did not get a yummy croissant, but did have a chocolate chip cookie that was a little bite of heaven. This is a cool coffee shop in Bothell Washington. I used to go there all the time to study when I lived up there. They have healthy treats and good coffee. The Baristas are also nice and helpful. The seating comfortable, and space is inviting. Parking is not a problem. The parking lot is fairly small, but there is plenty of street parking. read more

I've been to the Cafe Ladro located in Edmonds for a year and it was so great. When I moved the Bothell location became my central locale. It is a very stark contrast in quality that left me really irritated and not willing to give them a third chance. My first experience was a huge red flag and I should've stopped then and there. I went with my friend who had accidentally forgotten his mask. We walked in and before we could even ask if they had masks one of the women towards the back started yelling at my roommate that he can't come in without a mask and that they're extending the mandate so we need to follow their rules. After apologizing (which we both regret because the way she responded was extremely hostile) and asking if they had one she replied with the most horrendous attitude that we were "lucky she got some in yesterday". Okay? What? Just rude and cold attitude for the remainder of our awkwardly long wait to order. Second time was just today. I went through the drive through with a coworker and we asked if they had an espresso coffee cake- they said yes. We get to the window and guess what? They didn't have it! They also forgot to add the creamer to my coworkers coffee so we had to make a side trip to Safeway so she could enjoy her drink. Mine was a simple iced mocha that barely tasted like anything. Super disappointed because Edmonds has the best service and quality and this doesn't even seem like the same brand. I'm not sure if they switched up their chai latte mix, but the past couple times I've gone it's been delicious! They have a sweet and a spicy blend. prefer the spicy and it's got a nice little kick while still being creamy and flavorful. They make a decent dry cappuccino as well and though it's been a minute since I've had a latte from there, I liked the beans they used (assuming that hasn't changed). They are also very pet friendly and my dog gets excited rolling up to the window because they always offer a treat! read more

Great service and great coffee! I love coming here to study, especially because they have ample room inside and outside for everyone (very dog friendly!!). Only downside for me is that the building itself is industrialized, so it's a lot colder than what you imagine a cafe to be- cozy and warm. However, the coffee makes up for the lack of warmth. Although I go to Starbucks probably at least 4 times a week, I appreciate good coffee and this place has it. It's deep, rich, and definitely high up on my coffee list. Not being from the area, we asked family for a recommendation and they suggested a few places, including Caffe Ladro. We ran through the drive-through here on a Sunday afternoon, and my biggest regret is that we didn't go inside. I ordered an oat milk latte, which was really good. My husband, who is a self-admitted coffee snob, had a mocha and enjoyed it. Service was great and efficient. The abundance of non-dairy options was a plus. I haven't reviewed this Ladro yet? Ooops! I like this location because it's pretty big (never had a hard time finding a seat) and frequently open later than the Bothell Library. The tasty coffee is a nice bonus! They also have baked goods and added pre-made (Molly's?) sandwiches and salads about a year ago. I guess I usually visit on cold days because until this weekend I hadn't realized they have an outside seating area. I really like being able to sit outside on a warm day! Sitting outside also led me to realizing they have a drive-thru (through?). I wonder if that's new... there used to be another drive-thru coffee shop about a block away, but everything in that parking lot was demolished several months ago.
