While I have always found the front desk staff and dental hygienists incredibly friendly, the office business practices and my overall experience surrounding a dental crown left me unsatisfied with my care and a new anxiety around visiting the dentist. 1. Many people have mentioned their up front billing methods and constant attempts to upsell patients. While I cannot confirm that I was specifically overbilled for any procedure, I did feel like I constantly was having services pushed on me for extra fees. I also noticed at a certain point they stopped asking me about a flouride treatment that was an additional fee and just started completing the treatment and asking for payment. While this wasn't a massive strain on my finances at the time, it could really cause issues for patients who are on strict budgets from month to month. 2. I had a crown put on in March of 2021, in October of 2023 the crown fell out while on vacation out of state. I was able to book quickly to have the crown put back in but was frustrated with the brushing off my concerns around how quickly it seemed to have issues. When I returned for my normal cleaning a few months later I expressed my anxiety and fear of the crown falling out again and my concern about flossing around the crown pulling it out. I felt the doctor dismissed my concerns without any real empathy and I left the office without feeling at ease about this. 3. When I was without dental insurance for a time and was not able to afford a visit due to strained finances they did offer me their insurance plan which was more than the cost of the cleaning. I'm not sure why they thought I could afford that but not the cleaning. They continued to refer to this and all of their services as an "investment" which for me personally felt gross (though this could be a petty complaint on my end). I have since been able to return to my longtime dentist and am much happier. I do NOT recommend this office, but I do sincerely hope their services and practices improve for the sake of their patients and staff.

I was repeatedly asked if I wanted quotes for cosmetic procedures, followed by ongoing calls trying to sell those services. Two months ago, I canceled my upcoming appointment and informed the office I would be finding a new dentist. Then I received a bill for $800 with no listed services. When I called, I was told the bill wasn't even mine--it belonged to my adult daughter, who has her own insurance. This is extremely concerning. Not only does it feel inappropriate (if not potentially illegal), but it raises the question of how many people might unknowingly pay bills that aren't theirs. I attempted multiple times to reach the billing department and received no response. When I finally got through by selecting the "pay bills" option, the issue was not treated with any urgency or concern. I was simply told they would notify a manager and attempt to contact my daughter for payment. My daughter later called and was told this bill could impact her credit--even though she had never received it. This entire situation has been frustrating, concerning, and completely unacceptable.

They answered all my questions and are interested in working with me to make sure I receive the best dental care for me. The quality of care I've gotten so far has been outstanding. The hygienist, Harneet, did a wonderful job with my cleaning. She also took extra time to explain what I need to know about my dental care both at the dentist and at home. I came across this one here on Yelp, and I am SO happy that I did. The dentists here referred me to Dr. Pasternak, their oral surgeon. I hate having my teeth messed with and I'm already anxious just going to the dentist for cleanings. Needless to say, I was so nervous about the procedure and possible complications, but she did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and making me feel safe. Some of my wisdom teeth were impacted, so the procedure required more work and was done under anesthesia (by my request, I wanted to be out of it). Everything went exceedingly well, I had no pain during recovery, and the incisions/holes healed with ZERO complications. Two years later I still think back on the experience and how grateful I am to Dr. Suzanne Pasternak for the skill and care she provided. I figured I should write a review since I still feel so strongly. The office staff were amazing too and were very helpful during all of my pre-procedure visits. I highly recommend this place for everything dental-related. I would make it my regular dentist's office if I didn't live so far!
