However, what happened today (Friday, April 24) was honestly shocking and very disappointing. I had two MRI appointments scheduled -- one today around 5 PM and another on Sunday (April 26) at around 11 AM. I arrived just 1-2 minutes late. When I walked in, a staff member named Cindy was chatting with coworkers about personal matters and completely ignored me. After signing in, I waited about 5-6 minutes with no acknowledgment, and had to approach her myself. I asked if it would be possible to combine both MRI appointments into today since they were the same type of exam. She responded in an impatient tone, barely making eye contact, and said it wasn't possible, giving vague reasons. The waiting area was almost empty at the time. A couple minutes later, she changed her stance and suggested that I move today's appointment to Sunday instead, saying it would make more sense so I wouldn't have to come twice. That sounded reasonable, so I agreed. However, when I tried to confirm that both exams could definitely be done on Sunday, she suddenly said she was "not sure" and would need to check. This was extremely frustrating. If it wasn't certain, that should have been clearly communicated from the beginning -- not after asking me to change my appointment. At that point, I decided to just proceed with today's appointment instead. Then she told me it was "too late" and that I was already 15-20 minutes late, so they couldn't accommodate me anymore -- even though the delay was largely due to her lack of responsiveness and conflicting guidance. Also, there were barely any patients in the office, so it didn't seem like a capacity issue at all. Does she really has right to cancel my appointment because of her conflicting guidance and miscommunication? Is there working practice and guideline for front desk staff? It is worst experience I ever had. The staff was not doing her job correctly. The entire interaction felt disorganized, unhelpful, and dismissive. Her attitude was impatient and unprofessional throughout, and it seemed like customer care was not a priority. This was by far the worst experience I've had at this location, which is unfortunate given my many prior positive visits. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff communication and professionalism.

He requested the radiologist compare the studies and I reiterated that request TWICE; once when making the appointment; and again when I checked in, I had the second study done on 7/22./25. The report when posted said "no comparison study available." SO, I called on 7/25. Today is 7/28, I am seeing my MD tomorrow...and there is NO REVISED STUDY on my portal. I was sent to Affinity Radiology in Hackensack for an open MRI of the brain , by the Brain Center…read moreof Englewood . After checking in , I was sent to a room with a male tech who told me to get undressed from the waist up! I asked why , since I had removed my jewelry at home . He said because of the metal in my bra .My bra has no metal, and I stated that , so he told me to get on the machine which I did . He told me I would be hearing loud noises and he took a pair of rubber ear plugs out of a plastic bag and inserted them into my ears, while leaning on my chest with his elbows and upper arms . He could have handed me the plugs, as I am quite capable of inserting them into my own ears . This was not an open MRI at all! . I became extremely claustrophobic after about 30 min and pushed the button he gave me to use if I needed help. He did not stop the machine nor he come to my aid , and after pushing the button multiple times I forcibly extracted myself from the machine! Why would , or should , anyone go to a radiology center not affiliated with a hospital? Most local hospitals in Bergen county have the technology . If you are sent to Affinity radiology, ask your self and your doctor "WHY " and make sure to get a satisfactory answer before going .

I took her last Tuesday for a procedure, she followed up on Friday, and then again this morning. We are VERY happy with the care she has received. Her infection is clearing up, and she has received great follow up care. All of the information is also update to her MyChart account so her primary physicians can follow up on the procedure she had.
