We wandered in, not really sure what to expect since these days you don't get much for FREE, and were greeted by Ray who told us he would give us our FREE lesson.

As long-time patrons of Pinstripes, this review is seriously overdue…read more No business is perfect. Service issues happen from time to time, but what truly keeps customers coming back is the people. We wanted to recognize three team members who have consistently made our family's experience exceptional. **First, Kaydy, the Kids Club Coordinator.** For the past two years, our family has attended countless Kids Club events, and Kaydy has been the heart and soul behind so many of those memories. She greeted every family with a genuine smile and brought so much energy, warmth, and passion to every event. You could tell she truly loved what she did. It wasn't just another job--it showed in every interaction. When we recently learned she would be leaving, we were honestly heartbroken. Before the recent changes to the Kids Club program, events were consistently packed and often fully booked, and we have no doubt Kaydy's dedication played a huge role in building that loyal following. Pinstripes is losing an incredible employee, and any organization would be fortunate to have her. **Next is Ray, the upstairs manager.** Ironically, our first few visits to Pinstripes years ago could have been our last. We experienced recurring issues with our bowling lane and service that left us frustrated. Fortunately, Ray stepped in each time with professionalism, urgency, and genuine care. He resolved every situation quickly and made us feel heard rather than dismissed. The biggest testament to his leadership? After those early visits, we never encountered problems of that magnitude again. We truly believe his attentiveness and commitment to the guest experience played a major role in that. **And finally, Monica, the hostess with the mostest.** If you've been to Pinstripes, you've probably seen Monica constantly helping guests with a smile. She's hardworking, attentive, organized, and always makes us feel welcome. No matter how busy it gets, she takes the time to acknowledge people and make sure they're taken care of. As long-time customers, we can confidently say that while food, bowling, and bocce bring people through the doors, it's employees like Kaydy, Ray, and Monica who keep families coming back. Thank you for making our family's visits so memorable over the years. Your hard work and dedication have never gone unnoticed.

The restaurant seemed very understaffed, and throughout the two hours we were there, many of the food items stayed empty for long periods without being replenished. Since the buffet was split between two levels, our entire family, including those helping with a newborn, constantly had to go downstairs just to find available food, which was also limited at times. The protein selection felt pretty minimal with mainly prime rib and ham, while most of the buffet consisted of carbs and desserts. On top of that, three of our family members ended up experiencing stomach issues afterward, which we suspect may have come from the chocolate fountain area. We've celebrated Mother's Day here before and were really looking forward to coming back, so it was disappointing to leave feeling let down. Hoping this was just an off day, but sadly we probably won't be choosing Pinstripes again for future Mother's Day celebrations.

No longer are the days where you'll need to venture far and wide to satisfy your whole party's…read moredesire for amusement - this place has it all! Round1, a far reaching franchise, has enriched communities with a spot to host birthday parties, company functions, or just a couple hours out with the family or friends. Hosting several bowling lanes, a dedicated space for billiards, and a plethora of arcade games spanning almost every genre, no matter the event, your party members will have a great time! This particular location within the Southland Mall campus commands a multi-storied space accessible from the main parking lot that is seldomly packed. Upon stepping foot through the automated doors, you'll take the escalator or elevator up to the main floor where you'll find their bowling alleys, claw machines, arcades, and food service. As a first timer, it was quite overwhelming with all the flashing lights, colors, and sounds but find your way to the main registers/check in counters and they'll get you situated and informed. For those looking to bowl, the staff will set you up with a lane and you'll have the option to pay by the hour (VIP lanes) or by the game. For those with bigger parties, paying by the game may be more suitable but for those high speed rollers, they should cram as many games as possible in the hour as a VIP. Shoe rentals are charged extra but reasonably priced and can be forgone if you have your own pair. The lanes are pretty well maintained and configurable for each player (bumpers automatically come up if turned on for players). Balls ranging from 6 pounds to 14 pounds are easily accessible and bowler ramps are also available for the younger folks needing an assist. Aside from dropping some pins, consider pocketing some balls in a game of billiards, racking up some virtual tickets in the many arcade games, or scoring some prizes with the claw-type machines. To play any of their games, you'll need a game card that can be purchased through one of their kiosks or at the counter. Take note that there are three different cards: 1) timed game card (green lit games only), 2) regular game card (any lit game), and 3) VIP game card (same as the regular game card but is replaceable in case it gets misplaced). The cards can also be used across multiple locations so if there's another Round1 you plan on visiting, the funds you've loaded into the card can still be used. The venue also serves food and drinks although we didn't order any this time around. The options seem pretty extensive including pizza, ramen and fried snacks for the bites and soda and alcoholic drinks for beverages. With the many activities, food/drinks, and dining spaces, it's a great spot for small to medium sized parties. Larger parties might get a bit chaotic especially during peak hours but the arcade space didn't seem to get too crowded during our afternoon visit. The staff were pretty pleasant to work with and friendly in welcoming us. They all seem to keep busy in their respective roles which meant the place was relatively clean and organized for all patrons. Overall, Round1 seems to be a fantastic one stop shop for all things amusement for the young and the old. Games and activities are accessible and the environment is lively, keeping the vibe fun and light. We had a great time with the kids and enjoyed ourselves as well. Food seems reasonable priced and has a bit of variety to satisfy all tastebuds. The staff was easy to work with and the place is well kept. Being accessible to the mall, highways, and bridges, the place is convenient to get to and makes for a hassle free outing. Round1 might be the start, but it won't be a surprise if round two or three ends up following close behind!
