Extremely disappointed with Bowlero Sinking Spring. After paying $115+ for bowling which is insanely expensive as is, our group was told to leave due to a bar policy that was incorrectly explained as "the law" to not served vertical ID's, for reference everyone in our group was over 21. The manager put his hands in our drinks, which was unsanitary and unacceptable, then refused a refund for bowling we weren't allowed to finish. When I called the location to speak to a manager it turned out this was the same guy who put his hands in our drinks, Chris. He still refused to give us a phone number for corporate and once again was extremely rude. Poor management and very unprofessional handling of the situation. read more

Large and spacious area, well kept and organized. The layout allows for separation and social distancing. The atmosphere is welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Clean family friendly environment with a variety of activities: bowling, billiards, and arcade. Thankful for this local gem. Hand sanitizer and plastic gloves are provided for customer use during the pandemic. I witnessed staff cleaning between customers. Vending machines are well stocked as well as a great snack bar with a variety of options. I have many fond memories of Berks Lanes through the years, and look forward to more in the future. Wayyyyyyyy overpriced. They overcharge for bowling... it's quite honestly insulting. For the price of an hour and a half of bowling for 5 people... My son and I came here for a mommy son date a couple of months back. They have a huge parking lot. The staff was very friendly including the manager Chris. The kids working the food area were also super nice and helpful. The place was kept clean and in order. You are able to order food and they deliver it to you. Prices weren't the worst for food and the portions weren't tiny. You are able to reserve a lane online. However, this is where I find this to be a bit insane with pricing. It was $10 each for shoe rental, we each had a $20 food card tacked on because it was "busy time" and there was no choice to opt out of it. For two people to bowl two hours was $153. Honestly, that's ridiculous. No one should be forced to have a $20 food card tacked on per person. I'm not saying my family and I won't be back but I can guarantee we can find other family activities for less. read more

Had a great time but had a rocky start. We were told we needed a reservation but I have been there before and I never needed one. So me and my two other friends needed to wait about 25 minutes till we could actually play when there were about 12 lanes open! Very disappointed. At first glance, this is your average bowling alley trying to make it during the covid pandemic. We spent our money in the arcade, billiard room, and then bowled for two hours on a lane. At closing time, we promptly followed guidelines, proceeded to the bathroom and then out of the side door near the bathrooms. We waited there for the third member of our party (our little sister) because she hadn't yet left the restroom. After a few minutes I called my sister to check in, no response... I tried to enter where I exited, but it was locked. 10 minutes later her brother decided to check the front door and other side doors, also locked. He knocked, shook, and pounded on the door to get any employee attention. Multiple employees gathered, laughed, looked in his direction, and ignored him. We had spent our fair share of money, and still they ignored him. It could've been his phone or wallet left behind, it could have been any number of reasons. No reason was important enough for this staff. A simple acknowledgment would've sufficed. We could've asked very simply without entrance, that they check the bathroom for patrons. The reason I am taking my time to write this is because my little sister was locked in and the employees ignored and mocked our trying to get their attention to get her out. Once they noticed her finally leaving, they responded and pretended that they never saw her brother banging on the door... for 30 MINUTES! This is completely unacceptable and unsafe. Extremely disappointed in the way they chose to ignore and then take zero responsibility for their actions. We had no other problems, tipped appropriately and respected all staff before this issue. Terrible new years eve party.they gave you very little food n it was hot food to eat while you were trying to bowl. Lousy choices of food.could not find anyone to get a drink from the bar and the bar closed to early.no one wore a mask.and it was way to hard to make reservations took way to many phone calls n then they wanted me to pay for a 4th person when we only had 3 people on our lane not the minimum of 4.then they charge you like a corporation tan of 27 dollars and then they add that and tax e everything together. Never reviewed a bowling alley before, but then most bowling alleys are just horrendous, filthy places so I'm never really in one. Girlfriend and I were thinkin' date night to work off some of the Thanksgiving turkey and we headed to Berks Lanes to play a few games of bowling. $5 "cover" got you in and every game after that was 75 cents, as were pretzels, sodas, and a bunch of other stuff I didn't get. Pitcher of beer was $6. The alley itself is enormous, bright, and clean, which in my opinion makes this place a bit of an anomaly. Now if only they could do something about my game so that I didn't get trounced by my girl, that'd be great. read more

Couldn't believe this place was within walking distance of my apartment when I first explored the building. They had at least 10 pool tables, an arcade, 40 lanes for bowling and a bar. They also had a special for bowling when we went which was 10 bucks for shoes and 2 hours of bowling. We got in almost 5 games on a Saturday night. Not too shabby for 10 bucks! Best Bowling Alley in Berks County, and many counties in PA. Run by a great crew, cheap prices for pizza, grub and soda's. Very Clean. Pool tables are usually full but if you come at the right time you will get a table. Video games for kids is a plus nice size area. What is a bowling alley without the beer ? This place has a bar and restaurant attached to it so you can order from there too. Will get crowded on Friday and Saturday night so come early. No smoking since last year. read more

I want to begin by stating that a 1 Star review is being generous. I recently held my daughter's 5th birthday at Berks Lanes, and it was the biggest nightmare from beginning to end. When I checked in with the "manager," I should have foreseen how the day was going to unfold. We started the party having to wait for our scheduled time as there was tournament on the lanes. However, this is nothing compared to the chaos that would later ensue. When my daughter's 20 guests were done bowling, we headed back to the party room. When we entered the party room, I was outraged to find that another party was sharing the same room!! Besides it being very impersonal, it presented MANY problems throughout our allotted 45 minutes in the room. Besides the adults and children feeling uncomfortable, food took forever to come out (I personally ran 4 trips from the kitchen to the party room), drinks were flat and I had to request another drink choice (which took even longer), utensils, napkins, and cups were forgotten and guests of mine had to pitch in to retrieve all of these items. When it was time to lite my daughter's cake, there was a baby from the other party crying (not their fault but fault of Berks Lanes for even having another party in there). It made it very difficult to even hear the guests singing. However, I did not even touch on the worst part of the day. When I went to the manager to inform her of our terrible experience, she immediately started blaming the teenager in charge of the party, stating he should have asked for help. She tried to defend herself by saying that she did ask the teenager if he needed help. WHAT A JOKE! She not once went back to the party room to see for herself. A good manager would have pitched in bringing food out as well as other needed items. She took off his tip to try to make it right when our bill was presented. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Taking money from a teenager to make up for her lack of management of her facility. I informed her that he WILL receive the tip, but the deduction to my bill will still stand. And it still gets worse... I recently found that several cards that had money and gift cards were never received. SHAME ON BERKS LANES FOR THIS DEBACLE. read more

They were very rude assuming that they have business here , and their goal is to get people to come in. I understand being open until 11 my be difficult, especially having older woman run the snack bar , but than do not be open until 11.
