Changed the ball dispenser and tripled the cost of balls with no improvement to the facilities. The matts are all very worn, terrible balls, no tees, busted up dividers, the list goes on.. Truly the only money they have spent in the last 10yrs is the new payment system for range balls. But exactly like they do everything else, they did it in the least user friendly way. No tap to pay, no way to pay via card, exact change only.... But also no way of getting change without going into the bowling alley.. Deal with the crowds at Overlook, they are there for a reason. I've been here several times before, and I've never had a bad experience with this place. This was the first time I've been there for cosmic bowling, and it was a blast. I really enjoyed the fog machine they had going, and the lights were cool. Our lane broke briefly, and it only took a few minutes before it was fixed. Our 3rd time here bowling with the grandkids. Great place to go bowling. Lanes are in excellent condition and the whole place is clean and modern. Front desk and snack bar staff are very friendly and helpful. Haven't shot pool yet but tables looked great. There's also a nice arcade area. Snack bar food is also good. Used to love this place. Now every time I goto shoot pool here I feel like they want me to go somewhere else. The guy that answers the phone Mondays treats people like they aren't good enough to use the tables if they aren't already reserved for that person. I will not be going to leisure lanes on Mondays for sure and Sundays are gonna be a stretch after this as well. read more

Had a bad experience here. Paid for golf and then came back to the desk an hour later for bowling just before 8:30 PM on Friday. More than half the lanes were open. The kid who works there was checking me and my wife out to pay to bowl one game for $4.75 / person - I was in the process of paying when lady who works there jumped in and told us we'd have to pay $15 / person and wait an hour to play until cosmic bowling starts at 9:30, since "you can't get a game in within an hour." I'm pretty sure 2 people can get in one game of bowling in one hour but wasn't worth arguing and my time isn't worth waiting an hour because someone is trying to nickel and dime customers - they lost 2 customers in perpetuity. I can't in good conscience recommend this establishment - it felt like they were trying to prey on customers, which was unexpected. There are better options for a good customer experience. This place is amazing! A bunch of girlfriends and I went to it for a quick destresser before my sisters wedding the next day. We got there and only ended up bowling for an hour at most. The guys at the counter were so nice and gave us our bowling free and we just paid for the socks we bought. The service is quick and friendly and the lanes have cute dinosaur slides to line up your ball. The workers were so helpful and treat you like family. Leisure is such a fun and great place to bowl. I went on a Thursday night with a coupon (Buy 2 games, get 2 games free) and I had a blast. The alley is clean, smoke-free and very relaxing. The snack bar is loaded with good food and it's super cheap which made for an even better great date night. All in all, we paid under $20.00 for 2 games, food and walked away full, entertained and with some money in my pocket. ​ So Leisure Lanes (LL) is my favorite bowling alley in Lancaster County. Truthfully it isn't the best bowling alley, and as others have pointed out you will probably pay more at LL per game than other places. Paying more is completely worth it after you realize every other Bowling Alley left in Lancaster is terrible. First off we can start off with pricing. Sure at $3.75 LL is a full dollar more per game than Dutch Lanes (DL); however, at least it is better than Rocky Springs (RS) which if you allow some sketchy math is $12 a game. (To explain how I get that price: RS charges $8 an hour, or $12 for 2 hours. You and your group are given 1 lane. We had 8 people last time I went. 8 people on one lane. We bowled pretty hastily and almost got 2 games in during our 2 hours. Except two of our friends did not get to bowl a tenth frame. So there 1 game. $12). Paying to bowl by the hour is a horrible business practice and I can not imagine how an alley that uses it can stay popular. So LL beats out RS but not DL as far as pricing goes. Next point is lanes. The problem with RS is they have too few lanes (Which if they didn't have a $500 VIP lounge they could get more) so they force you to use the same lane with 8 or less people. DL is also pretty small so at busy times you can't get 2 lanes for 6 people. LL has 50 lanes so space is never an issue. Next on we have seating. Both LL and DL have fairly nice seating arrangements. RS however is just plain rotten. two lanes share one seating section. Of which there are 12 seats in 3 rows. Remembering that they force 8 people into one lane chances are you don't know the people next to you so sharing a seat with them is terrible. Actual bowling. All three places have adequate selection as it goes for shoes, and balls. The television graphics however can not be changed at RS. LL and DL let you pick themes, toggle bumpers, and write your own name. RS does not give you enough freedom. Bar. Yeah LL doesn't have a bar, nor does DL. RS does. If a bar is the reason you are choosing a bowling alley then my review is pointless anyway. Payment. All three alleys have a $5 minimum on credit cards. Not really a problem for games. For the snack bar however it becomes an issue, If you walk into any of these alleys with no cash on hand you can not get just a drink from the snack bar. LL however has Vending Machines that take credit cards and you can buy a drink if you wish. On a different note on payment, both DL and RS make you pay before you bowl. Forcing you to decide how many games you want to play. And because of the minimum on cards you can't just go add another game. LL is king in this where you bowl until you are finished at any rate you want and then you go pay. I know this is a long rant, but I simply don't understand why other bowling alleys aren't like LL. read more

I brought my mom and her boyfriend bowling here for her first time with my boyfriend maybe a week ago. It was a great experience for everyone. The area is very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. The lanes are in good shape and they have a sign that shows you what color balls are what size which was very helpful to my mom. The arcade is kinda small and I didn't get a chance to check out the pool area but all in all it's a very nice place and we will be back when in the area again. read more

Leisure Bowling & Golf Center - My moms first time bowling ever - Bowling Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

I used to love going here when I was younger. For bowling it can get quite pricey. $2 for shoes and $3.75 PER PERSON PER GAME. My wife and I went here and bowled two games and it ended up costing about $19. We went over to the snack bar to order some fries and the lady at the counter just simply said "no." I asked her if there was anything else she could make me and she sighed and said well there's a hot dog left if you want that. Rather rude, and there was no hours posted anywhere at the snack bar indicating when it closed (this was about 9PM). After this, we went over to the arcade and found a Namco machine that ran on a timer and had intermittent controls and the auto firing was not working on the games. There was a motorcycle racing game that did not work and there was a sticker over this game saying "no refunds." As another reviewer stated, it only takes their tokens. The one redeeming aspect was the air hockey table which worked fine. I can't comment on their pool hall, but prices seemed OK. About $5 per hour. Also, no bar. :( read more

I brought my summer camp here several times and I must say the customer service we received here was amazing. The general manager was extremely accommodating and patient with us. The facility is clean and updated and the kids had such an amazing time here! We will be coming back next summer and I'm excited to bring my nephews here as well. bowling is one of those things that my husband and i both love to do, but for some reason we don't go to the bowling alley near enough. on a whim we went to leisure lanes on friday night around 6pm. there were many open lanes (they have 50!) and by the time we left around 8 or 9 there were still a lot of lanes. the inside of leisure lanes is very nice and clean. shoe rental cost $2 and games were 3.75 each which seemed a little high but not too bad i guess. they also have pool tables that you can rent by the hour, a driving range, and mini golf all on this property. only thing that could make this place better would be a bar! read more

The facility is nice and clean, the pool tables are good and the refreshments are decently priced. The house bowling balls SUCK. Especially the light ones, they have been thrown so many times they are egg shaped and quite frustrating. My small children were upset and thought they did bad but the balls were so egg shaped they roll to the edges. if they purchased new house balls I would give them 4 stars. read more

There were WAAAAYYYYY too many birthday parties going on at the same time. My son had a great time and I enjoyed watching the football playoff games with some of the other dads while the 5 year olds bowled (thanks to the birthday boys dad for organizing the chaos and trying to keep them bowling when it was actually their turn). The pop up rails for the kids are great and the tv at the scoring screens was quite handy to watch football during the kids party. When I first walked in there were table set up up and down the aisle both left and right. I asked where the party was that I was there for and the guy basically shrugged his shoulders and told me to find it. He wasn't rude per se just not overly helpful. read more

A nice bowling alley with a pool room, and if you want to have fun outside they have a miniature golf course that's not bad, as well as a driving range. As the other review said, it can get crowded on the weekends, but they are great for late night fun with your friends. If you go while the snack bar is open give the chili cheese dog a try. Nice affordable place for friends or just a family outing w/the kids. The people working there have always been really nice and helpful. My moms group has been taking the kids there and it's a great inexpensive place to go on a week day with young kids. They actually get some exercise bowling too. Oh I had the chili a few years back in the afternoon and was sick that whole night it may not have been from that but any meat that you push a button and it drips out of a machine makes me go Humm. read more
