The other boys father and brother were both watching them, well the guy that mows the lawn, came out of the bathroom and yelled at my son so much that when my son came home he couldn't even talk to tell me what happened. He was sobbing! I went outside and yelled at the guy that if he has a problem with my son come talk to me don't ever yell at him again! Both the other boys father and brother said my kid didn't do anything wrong. The next morning I printed a formal complaint and left it at the office for when they opened at 9am, was headed over at 9:30 to discuss the complaint when a police officer shower up at my door. They said they called about the gun incident, apparently the gun triggered the guys PTSD, well my kid also has PTSD and no man needs to be yelling at him! We ended up leaving because I was due to pay that day anyway and refused to give them ANY more of my money! No apology from any of the staff or owners! And since this incident I have seen 3 men in different stores with real guns oh their waists, if an orange fake gun is going so triggering for the worker's PTSD perhaps Montana one of the most gun friendly states isn't the place for him! I'd stay far far away from this campground you have kids! Below is the fake gun that was so scary!

The maintenance guy here has a giant problem and instead of taking it up with the males in the group he goes to the youngest, most petite female in the car who had two babies with her. Our four year old granddaughter had to use the restroom. My husband who is a veteran of three wars says "stop here, as a kid I used to camp here all the time and they're typically good people.". Couldn't have been further from the truth. He came over to the vehicle stuck his hands inside, screamed, and yelled, and cussed at my daughter and demanded a dollar. My husband gets out of the vehicle and tells him to back away from the vehicle and "terry" the toilet guy of the property (maintenance I assume because he was in a Good Sam's golf cart) threatens to call the cops because a four year old child used the bathroom on "his private property". My daughter scrambled for money and that is when her husband comes out of the office with the 4 year old who used the restroom. My daughter tries to give him the money with an extra dollar for his troubles and he then denies the money and says I don't want your effing money, GTFOH. It was the most unsettling experience I've ever had. The guy is unhinged. Make sure and check out the review from the guy from Florida. He posted a picture of the psycho coocoo head we had to deal with. I wouldn't book a stay here if you paid me a million dollars.

Long, pull through sites. Level gravel pads. Each site has its own grassy area with picnic table. Water and electric only. No mature trees, so sites are not shaded. No cell service. WiFi is free, but spotty. Worked well enough for us. $30 per night 30 amp, $32 for 50 amp. $2/night per dog. Nice dog run area. Owner very friendly and helpful. Came over to greet us with a packet of info about the area. Lovely family history. Good base camp for nearby fishing. Also within driving distance of ghost towns and Crystal State Park where you can dig for quartz crystals. After weeks of RV Parks next to highways and railroads, the peace here was pure bliss. The nights are so quiet, perfect for restful sleep.

When I was researching for our trip, I noticed they offer a private soak option, so I went ahead and booked this experience for us. 2 hour session on a Wednesday for $175. Not bad when you get the entire place to yourself. They have changing rooms and the bathrooms are porta potties. It was super clean. The hot springs were super hot and the water they spray in one section of the pool allows you an opportunity to cool off. They also had umbrellas set up around the perimeter to block the sun. I'm glad it was slightly cooler today from a rain storm as it ended up being the perfect day! We also ordered some food while we were here. I got the smoked trout which came with a delicious salad, all made fresh from their onsite garden. My kids got the pickle pizza, which they let me try and that was devoured! Demi took excellent care of us! I'd definitely come back here! They also offer live music in the evenings. There was music playing while we were here and it was a nice addition. They also offer onsite camping too. Highly recommend Norris Hot Springs!

Worst experience. Our family was traveling from Montana to Idaho and needed to stop somewhere safe…read moreto sleep/camp. It was after midnight. There were a bunch of tent sites available, we called the Sula camp host and left a voicemail letting them know of our intentions and identified the vehicle we were in. The online Camp Sula website was not working either. There were signs up by the camp store that indicated if we parked in the parking lot we could be towed. So we opted to park far away from everyone at an empty tent site. Went to sleep with the family. At approximately 8 am individual aggressively started pounding on our truck windows waking us up. Presumably the camp host, he did not identify himself, he was armed and angry. I tried shake his hand and introduce myself but he declined. It was hostile. He scolded me that we were loud and inconsiderate and should have just slept on the side of the road. He asked what our plan was and I said we wanted to stay here and pay. He asked for $40 and asked debit , credit or cash? I said debit and he said cash only. He took $40 and walked off not giving us any instructions, expectation or receipt for the $40. We went back to sleep. We woke up and messaged camp host 11:50 am for receipt $40 and to touch base. There were bathrooms there that had keypads on them we were not provided access to, and to inform him of his mis information of our presence and behavior there. The surrounding neighbors when asked had not been bothered early morning when we arrived. Camp host no response. Immediately after messaging the camp host, the camp host text an RV camper named "Bill" who was a couple sites down. They informed "Bill" to tell us that we needed to leave because the site we were in had been rented. "Bill " had text messages for the host stating we're trespassing and we needed leave. Still don't understand why we're charged $40 and then asked to leave upon only being there a couple hours. It was awkward and unbelievably un welcoming experience, I would have paid $40 not to have that experience. Horrible.
