I went there today and went inside to pay cash ,guy was on the phone gave him money went out to put gas in my car and it didn't work go back in and told him it didn't work he said now it's working went back out again still not working again goback inside and said still not working!!!! I went back in and said I want my money back and he gave me #%^t had to yell at him to give me my $ back!!! I'm not a slepper I own a Porsche , what is going on this guy ready for retirement??? California law states that customers who purchase gasoline or diesel are to be provided with free air and water. Having an air and water pump that charges 2.00 to power on is super lame. What a disappointment. Will not return as the service here is always like speaking to a wall that doesn't understand anything. read more

Headed to Bolsa Chica beach by way of Pacific Coast Highway and forgot to pump gas before leaving Long Beach. At the corner of Admiralty and PCH, is Berries Gas Station. Best get your gas here if you are running low and heading down PCH, because the next gas station about a half mile up will have at least 50cents a gallon on Berry's. There's a nice little convenience shop that sells lottery tickets and ice, if you're feeling lucky or need to pick up last minute drinks for the beach. Only disappointment I found was that the pump hose did not extend. If your gas tank is on the left, make sure the pump is on the left. I unfortunately had to back out and re-enter... too accustomed to Costco's extending gas pumps! read more

I purchased $66.00 in gas. Asked attendant to activate air/water station to fill tires and was declined free air. I asked twice and cited CA state law and he again denied free air advising me to call the number on the machine to complain or pay with credit, debit card or use quarters. Was easy to file complaint to state CDFA reporting the business for unlawful action. I recommend others to do the same - good job Sunset Fuels Inc/Berri Brothers Gas all it took was $2; I will gladly send my business to those that follow rule of law how ever slight. read more

I have been a longtime customer of Berri Brothers station in Yucca Valley. But I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED that they are now charging 10 cents more to use your credit card at this station. They have always had at least a 12 cent discount over competing stations in the area. It has always been a convenience to use your credit card at the pump, get a big discount and not have to wait in line inside the store. But I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in their new pricing tier. ALOT OF CUSTOMERS I TALKED TO OUTSIDE WERE ALSO UNHAPPY. Cash is not being used that much anymore and it's easier accounting with a credit card. read more

The best gas price in north Orange County. Is is really worth going to Costco and wait in line for 20 minutes with some crazy people to save 5 cents a gallon? This station is small but usually wide open for a fill up. Another bonus, it is in a nice area with no panhandlers. read more

Updating review: as of 3/10/16 - we are still dealing with this huge inconvenience - in addition to my brand new vehicle mentioned below, 2 of our other cars were affected by Berri's Gas... We had to have them all repaired by different garages or dealerships.. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE - I've been in correspondence with Tarek from Berri's but he keeps mentioning "Good Faith" but refuses to "make right" of the situation by providing any compensation for the time it has taken my family to deal with this mess, wear & tear on our vehicles, etc. I REFUSE to be taken advantage of & know that something was wrong because they closed the gas station down for over a week while "repairing" pipes. I WILL NOT TAKE ANY MORE RISKS USING THEIR STATIONS & WILL CONTINUE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH MY NEIGHBORS & COMMUNITY So that THEY ARE NOT BUYING FROM BERRIS. I went in there to get 2 propane tanks swapped out. The girl (Adriana) was less than helpful and literally gave me the keys to do it myself. She then followed me out and told me which ones to take. I had to remove empty ones to get to the full ones and then put my empty ones back in...not a problem, no big deal. I live right across the street on Admiralty Island and immediately went home to hook it up to the BBQ , took the red cover off of the tank valve and hooked it up. The tank valve would not open or budge at all. So I immediately brought it back to them (in less than 10 minutes) and she acted like she had never seen me before. I explained to her it was full and obviously defective - even showed her how the valve wouldn't move at all. She said since the red cover on the tank was gone there was nothing she could do. I explained I was there less than 10 minutes ago and got the 2 tanks. She asked if I paid with cash (???) and I told her no and showed her my credit card receipt from less than 10 minutes ago. She again said there was nothing she could do....WTH?? So I said BS and she called her manager. After speaking to her manager she reluctantly let me swap it out. Of course I had to remove a bunch of empty, dirty tanks to actually find a full one. She was rude the entire time.... What kind of customer service treats someone like that when your product is broken??? Did I need the hassle, snide remarks and waste of time??? We've been going to that gas station since it opened. We even supported them through their bad gasoline a while back. We have three vehicles that are filled up there at least once a week, buy gas for our boat, buy snacks in the shop and propane. Place is never opened at their posted opening time of 5am. You will be lucky if the lights get turned in and pumps unlocked by 10 after 5. Attendant on weekends is very rude and will tell you to go to another station if she doesn't want to deal with you. This past weekend 12/30, the pumps were extremely slow which I brought to the attendants attention. She was aggravated and told me to go somewhere else which I did and will continue to. Not sure why she was lashing out at the customer for bringing an issue up. read more

I have gotten gas here every week since they upgraded. Today I stopped to get gas and when I put my debit card in it asked if it was a debit card, I pushed yes and it said go see the cashier. I went in, waited in line and explained to the cashier what happened he said something to me and I could not understand what he was saying, so I said excuse me? Then he yelled at me and asked what pump? I said the last pump on the left where the range rover is. He then said something else to me that I could not understand, and again I said excuse me? Then he yelled "don't tell me car, tell me number!" He was extremely rude and at that point I told him you are a very rude man, I got in my car and I left and I will never patronize this business again. If corporate sees this, his name is Marino and he is a very bad representation for your company. I'm sure you have security cameras that will confirm this in case he tries to deny it. I wish i could givr a zero star back in february i started filling up my brand new ford explorer sport with the gas here. I was excited for it being so cheap but figured ot why. After my second tank of only filling up a berri brothers my check engine light came on car started running extermly ruff. Then the bad part my car stppped running on the freeway in the carpool lane with my two kids in the car Took it to the dealer they informed me i had blowen a fuel injector they flushed my tank new injector and bamn told me to fill up So me not think i go back for that great gas price Well not even 15 miles into this so called fresh tank my car is running like crap i tell my husband and the dealership . They both say its my head Then bamn i break down again fuel i jectors 5 and 6 were clogged with what seems to be metal in my gas tank My car ripped apart no parts nothing wrong Nothing but contaminiated fuel purchased on the month of february I called the company no return call Now i see the news there have fun i will be contacting attorneys about this ! $$$$$$$ twp visits to the dealership allmost 45 days without a vehicle ! read more

This station is the cheapest gas in the area. The station glow pattern works well. They sell only regular gas, which works in most cars. The inside of the station is clean and contains a small amount of candy, drinks, and lottery tickets. The station personnel are professional. The facilities are clean. read more
