I know Costco gas stations can get busy, but I found this location to be quite a disaster to navigate when I was there during an (admittedly) busy time. Maybe I came in from the wrong direction but there was some serious bottlenecking going on just to get in to the area. And then they had a lot of cars pull a hairpin right turn to get in to line for some of the far right pumps. It was just not the easiest stations to get in to. I also felt like a lot of the patrons were taking their time pumping gas and others not pulling through to get to a further pump once it became available. That just lead to a longer wait time than I'm used to at even the busiest of Costco gas stations, So, yes. This station is going to give you a better price than other stations in the area. But, if it looks busy, you might want to take a beat to consider if you have the time to wait for your turn (case in point I'm used to spending 5-10 minutes waiting for gas at other busy stations. I waited 15+ at this location). If you can wait, try & come here during off hours and I'm sure you'll have a very pleasant experience. read more

Not sure why I never posted a review. This is my go to got gas. There's a long line at peak hours like with any Costco but generally when I go early there is no problem. I like Costco's gas station better than Sam's because if for some reason you need to leave, there's an extra lane on the right to exit. Sam's doesn't have that. Great location within the Bella Terra area there for a really good convenience by home. Always has lower prices compared to general gas stations and I don't have to worry about card readers on their machines because there is always an attendant there so reduces chance of fraud. Didn't think about that until a coworker told me she had to go through all this hell because someone stuck a card reader on the pump at her gas station. read more

This particular Costco gas location still only has two pumps, unlike other Costco gas stations that have more. Surprisingly, I don't really mind it, the lines usually move along at a decent pace. I also tend to come late in the evening or super early in the morning to avoid crowds altogether. Anytime I've needed help whether I forgot my Costco card or had an issue with the pump, the attendants have always been more than helpful, which I really appreciate. My fiancé always keeps an eye on gas prices between different Costco locations, and more often than not, the Huntington Beach location has the cheaper price compared to other Costcos. read more

This Costco provides gas, but its not the most convenient gas station. The gas station is tucked next to a busy shopping mall, off the 405, and along the Costco. This Costco in general is super busy and with the position of this gas station its tough to go shopping, as the cars are all lined up to get into the gas area- which is not a straight shot- you have to make a turn into the lot- which jams up the road around the shopping center. My suggestion is to avoid this gas station on the weekends during shopping hours- best to go to this gas station bright and early in the morning when they open. The Costco worker at the gas station who was directing traffic- even say its not worth your time to get gas here during shopping hours, especially on the weekends. read more

It's that time again for a gasoline top off. Sure, the computer says I got 110 miles to go...but when Costco is on your way home, let's stop and checkout the line of cars. Wow...stay on the right lane and enter as a Costco attendant waves you to the far side. I picked a good lane as the cars are moving forward and the gas cap is on the right side. The membership and payment cards were ready and accepted. The price does fluctuate and it is now $3.879/gln. I topped it of at 10.77 gallons. I was looking for a gas station that was convenient to exit and enter the freeway on my way home from Brunch in Long Beach. Thanks to my trusted Yelp APP, I was able to locate this gas station. I am soo happy I did! Located off the freeway, this is so easy to access. I will be using this location from now on. The only caveat, getting inside to access the pumps can be a bit tricky. There are people constantly walking in front of you, and if you are not careful you could hit someone. Once inside the actual bay area, the lines can be a bit tricky depending on what side you want to use to pump gas. Sunday at around 4pm was bustling with people getting gas, probably getting ready for the week ahead or maybe because the following day was Presidents' Day. Regardless, I'm coming back here. The prices are a bit lower here than at my location, maybe because of demographic who knows. Next time i come, i want to go inside Costco itself to check out what they have. I had to leave a review immediately after my experience. I rode up 20 minutes before they closed thinking they closed at nine the same way my previous Costco does. Brian who was checking membership at the door. It was super friendly and welcoming despite the fact that I had 20 minutes of shopping time remaining. Even when as far as so, tell me where the most common sellers are milk produce in the likes would be located. I didn't get to look around as much as I would like to give them my timeframe, but I still managed to buy more than I came for it was a good experience and again to shout out Brian I hope that higher-ups see they have a phenomenal worker. To drawbacks I wish that they had more feline products. They have tons of dog stuff need a little balance. The second is at the checkout counter the two girls who helped me out, said hi and that was it and continued with their private conversation. I know I was there after closing. Has there even been a Costco Gas that wasn't a complete cluster? Probably not - but this one tops my list as the absolute worst to navigate. I feel like it was an afterthought to the Bella Terra design... because there is no one good way to get in or out, and there are too many temporary-now-permanent bollards to try to direct the traffic. There are also generally mall shoppers in a hurry, or people rushing to get into the structure, that it's all pure chaos. I've never wanted to almost give up on my gas and go. (We persevered.) The Costco on Edinger is my go to gas station as a rewards member. I have never had an issue with this gas stations pumps, they are easy to use, extendable, fast and reliable. The mornings are generally the best time for this gas stations as it can get busy, but with the many pumps they have usually the lines take no more than 15 minutes max. I was on my last mile of gas approaching the plaza and was very worried of even making it to the pump. One of the employees, named Israel, was managing the traffic at the front and I told him of my situation. He kindly told me "no worries. If you do run out of gas, just honk and we will be able to help push your car while it's in neutral." He gave me tips to not waste my gas by turning it on and off. Israel also made sure to make room in the other lanes so that I could move over to the lane at the far end where the line was shortest to reduce the amount of gas my car was burning in line. Luckily, I did not run out of gas and made it. Thank you for the small, yet impactful gesture. This Costco gas station is located in Huntington Beach of Center avenue. It's affordable but it's costco member only. So only come here if you have a costco membership. There are a total of 8 gas pumps so it's not a lot options to choose from because it can get crowded. Each pump has where you can just tap and not worry of pulling out your costco card. And that is the main problem: it does get busy so for new comers, either get here early morning or late at night so you can avoid the rush. The other problem is that there's hardly any staff to control the traffic since members can be inconsiderate of others and don't see why they have to go a specific pump. No matter which side you are on, the cord is long enough to even get to the other side of a truck. So it is a hit or miss at this location if you want to avoid the rush. read more

This location has some challenges with where you can enter for gas, and the lines tend to get quite long, but they move quickly. There are many pumps which helps the overall flow of traffic. The pictures I posted below are from a different time but as I'm sitting here writing this, the line is stretching out and wrapping around the parking lot at 9:17pm. I have never seen this happen. Perhaps these are the cars that didn't get a chance to fill up yesterday because it was Labor Day? They also pour concrete to build a curb on the left side of the gas station when there was opening before. I don't know why they did that. Costco Gasoline is my go gas station to fill up my Audi S5. I love bella tera costco gas station. The gas prices are very good and reasonable. The lines for gas can be hectic at times, so I recommend going early in the morning or before they close if you don't want to wait in long lines. But if you do go normal hours, it can be pack at times, if you get lucky then there won't be any lines. The gas nozzle are very long so you can fill up your car on either side and it'll reach your gas tank. Also you can just scan your membership for quick payment. As you are filling up your gas tank, there is a trash at each pump so you can throw away any trash you have in your car. Sometimes a pump might be out of order but the costco staff is really good at putting a sign to let you know the pump is out of order. read more

I like this location because it has the FOB Key, that I can tap at the gas pump, without needing to pull out my membership card, credit card and not request a receipt. How awesome is that? All I do is tap, it greets me on the screen, and I select which grade gas I want, start pumping and place the pump back when I'm finished filling up my tank. No worries on receipt, because I immediately get an email from Costco Gas, on how much it was, how much per gallon, and how many gallons I filled up. I just wish these gas stations started to provide gloves but I guess hand sanitizers are okay. I just wanted everyone to know, this helps avoid pulling out your card (membership & CC) then pressing in your zip code, and yes or no for receipt. Also, a great way to have your entire family to get the Costco Gas FOB too under your Costco Card, every time they fill up gas. You can personalize each FOB with their name on it, and when ever they use their FOB at the Gas Station, they don't need your membership card, or CC. You will get an email right away with their name, and total spent at the GAS. You can just bill your friends or family the total month they used their gas fob to Venmo/Zelle you. Not only do they save money and get quality gas from Costco, but you're getting points if you've linked you Costco Citibank CC. It's just an idea. *You can only link 1 CC on the Costco Gas FOB Key, so make sure you link the one that gives you more points for filling up on GAS. These Gas FOB keys are FREE and you can get as many as you want. The Costco member just needs to register it to your membership, and activate it and they just ask for the persons name, so you know which persons using their FOB. Every COSTCO GAS needs to have the FOB KEY offered at their location and have the Gas Pumps ready to accept them. I've been to GG, Vegas and N CA but they don't have those installed yet to take FOB keys, so I have to deal with holding onto the cards when I want to get gas. Be sure to go early morning or before they close to get shorter waits. Sometimes when it's crowded with the line wrapping outside, I say screw it and drive to another station. There's a total of 8 pumps, Costco membership is needed to use. You can scan or insert when you pull up. Be sure to use all lines since the gas thing can stretch over.
