I don't know how long it had been from the last time, maybe over a year, but the price of a basic wash had more than doubled! I had a coupon for $4 off and it was still almost $25 bucks. The person working the counter was nice and acknowledged my concern at the increase. I can understand raising prices due to inflation but by that much is just using inflation as an excuse to price gouge the customer. Furthermore the job on the inside of my car was substandard, there was debris and stuff left on my seats and carpets and also splotches left on floor boards. For almost $30 you cannot do better than that? Unbelievable. I will not be coming back.

Anytime I've needed help whether I forgot my Costco card or had an issue with the pump, the attendants have always been more than helpful, which I really appreciate. My fiancé always keeps an eye on gas prices between different Costco locations, and more often than not, the Huntington Beach location has the cheaper price compared to other Costcos.

The layout is intuitive, and similar in organization as other Costcos. What really stands out is the parking lot here. The entire entrance has barricades all around it - making it safe to navigate, unlike other Costcos in the area (looking at you Garden Grove!). With the new executive hour from 9am to 10am - I'm able to zip in, grab my stuff, pay and get out well before the floodgates open up to the masses. Employees seem happier too during the early-access hour, although salmon poke isn't available this early. Food Court is located on the outside - to the right of the entrance. Gas station is here as well - but it's always chaotic unless you come in the early morning or right before closing. With the revamped gas station (with wider aisles) over at the Garden Grove Costco - might be worth going there to fill up.

One person, Toby, the sweet exit auditor stands out. I have done self checkout for a while because it's fast and fun. At exit Toby has found me with an unscanned item once over the years. She also has found me with a double scanned item once. For each I was thankful. Of course each of those was an accidental error on my part. Toby handled each situation for me politely, quickly and efficiently.
