It's just another day in Tifton for my dad and his family (sister, brother in law, niece, nephew, niece in law, and great nephew). He drove to GA from SC to visit family for Christmas. Things went downhill very quickly from there.. Christmas Eve has changed all of a sudden. My dad said to my aunt "I don't feel great, I think I'm gonna have a stroke or heart attack". Mind you, he was no stranger to heart issues. My dad has endured multiple surgeries - one being a 9.5 hour quadruple bypass heart surgery. That is no joke. That surgery gave him 13 more years of life. So my aunt got my dad into her car and drove to TRMC on 18th Street. They got in and from there, he was taken care of. Apparently, the medical care team who was working with my dad knows NOTHING about folks who have cardiac issues. Especially those who have endured multiple strokes, tests, had a heart attack while on a treadmill, failed stents, and surgeries! They ran tests, which came back with results that were not accurate. He was deemed "healthy" and the hospital chose to discharge my dad. BIG MISTAKE! While family asked for more testing and that my dad stay overnight for observation - both requests were DENIED. Yes, you heard me correctly - they denied a man who clearly was sick the right to medical attention. They handed my dad and aunt the discharge papers and they left TRMC. My aunt helped my dad back into her vehicle. They made their way back to another part of Tifton. That's when things went from BAD to WORSE My aunt made it back to her home with my dad in the front passenger seat. He was talking about how much he misses my brother and I (who live in CT) took two breaths of air, and keeled over onto my aunt's shoulder. Right after that, he was gone. My dad died at the hands of a NEGLIGENT healthcare system, one that FAILED a man who has 2 adopted children - a daughter and son! Lots of red flags, and the doctors/nurses chose to CONTINUALLY ignore a man who was dying! I thought hospitals were a place to seek medical attention for emergencies and all? Well, TRMC did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! My dad is in heaven, he passed away suddenly at the age of 66 - which I say is YOUNG. I miss my dad more n more with each passing day! I love him and wish he was physically here - as I have so many amazing things to share. But nope, I can't get a hold of him. Heaven has no phones. Tift Regional Medical Center, my family is heartbroken. A father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin, nephew, great nephew, friend, and all-around great man DIED SUDDENLY because you claim he was "very healthy". Before I forget, I give ZERO stars to Kayla, who works in the medical records department, as she is incredibly RUDE and lacks RESPECT, EMPATHY, and PROFESSIONALISM!! I opened my eyes but could barely keep them opened. She then did it again, then nurses yelled don't touch her when I moved her hand because i was awake. They then shot me with Narcan and while I'm trying to breathe through all of this, I turned my head the other direction since it was so many ppl in the room. A nurse grabbed my face and shoved it into the bed screaming don't breathe on me. I'm struggling to get up but I don't have the strength but she pushes me down again, this time her hand over my face so I couldn't breathe still yelling don't breathe on me. Another nurse just simply declared I was faking and told everybody "we out" then most of them left. So now my jaw is getting tight. I'm trying to tell them through clench teeth that my jaw is messed up so the nurse said she wanted to check my tongue, and said open my mouth. I'm still through clench teeth telling them my jaw is tight. So one nurse grabbed my face where my jaw meets and tried to ply it open by squeezing so hard so I'm crying and another nurse tried to shove a stick in my mouth and then broke it on my top teeth. Then declared I bit the stick and I was being difficult. they threatened to strap my.hands down because I was responding to the pain they were causing me. They left me there for idk how long then the nurses came back to take me for imaging. I kept putting my hand up because she wouldn't answer me verbally and she just kept saying it doesn't hurt, I'm not taking it off, there's nothing wrong with you. I finally said you're the fuckin worst. So she stops and says you can address me without cursing. I told her yeah but you wouldn't listen to anything I was saying. I'm asking where my husband is. She said I already spoke to him, he's at home taking care of the babies you left there. I asked if he was there and she said no because you got babies at home that he had to stay back and care for since you left. I I told her I want to speak to patient relations. She kept trying to say other things but I'm hoarse as fuck so I just kept repeating patient relations. I then told her to get out, I need a new nurse now. You can go now. No thanks I don't care, you can leave. She left and when the other nurse came back, she gave me my phone and I called my mom and told her everything

We were given hope in the morning, only to have someone in the evening pull it away. For seven days we rode this exhausting rollercoaster until he finally let go. The staff were incompetent and unprofessional, laughing and giggling while on their phones right outside the room our father was clinging to life in. Communication between patient and family was non-existent. I even had a nurse respond to my questions by saying "we aren't God. We don't know." No, you aren't but any form of information about his progression would have helped tremendously. My mother has been dealing with this level of absolute ineptitude of the medical staff at this hospital since 2019 when his conditions started to first take shape and only got worse. I wouldn't recommend this hospital if you had a stuffy nose and I absolutely pray that no one else loses a loved one in this manner. It was such a cruel week for all of us.

They ignored her pain and swelling, refused to help with her shoes, or even with toileting, so that she returned home with soiled clothes. We contacted a patient advocate and tried to ask for short term rehab, in order to restore her strength and confidence, to no avail. Her nurse was in tears, telling us this is not a safe discharge. Even the person pushing her wheelchair out said they aren't allowed to push out someone who can't stand on their own - but they did. I will never use this hospital again and will share our experience online as far as possible.

I wrote a review, but they immediately took it down for 'violating community guideline', so I'm writing a new one. my experience here was so terrible. the workers were so inconsiderate, rude, not caring, and really didn't give a crap as long as they got paid. they took me off all my meds except for my sleeping me, and sent me home with two new meds without even making sure I didn't have withdrawals or bad side effects for taking me off my meds so suddenly. they didn't care if people got bullied or harassed until someone spoke up, and even then, they didn't do anything to fix it other than talk to the person, like THATS going to make a difference. Im also autistic and have a bear and blankie I can't sleep without for the life of me. they didn't care. they don't even care to listen to when we have actual problems to talk about. I wouldn't be surprised if more than 200 people left the world after getting out of this crap hole. a girl got called a wh0r3 for wearing shorts because pants make her claustrophobic, and she had a panic attack because she was forced to put on pants. I had symptoms of Gaul bladder and he diagnosed as the stomach flu. When I looked at the discharge paper it says to go back to the ER if you had the exact same symptoms I already had. I am a patient at Archibold Ear Nose and Throat Center and was referred here for surgery. I was taken back within 5 minutes of arriving. The front desk person had a clear separator and everyone wore masks for Covid-19 precautions. I was approved negative with a previous Covid-19 test a few days prior which was much appreciated. My nurses Stephanie & Ashley were very kind and polite throughout the whole prep for surgery and keeping me updated. My surgery was scheduled for early morning hours and they were repearedlt informing me on steps being done, doses being taken for medicines being given, and consistently making sure I was at ease and doing okay. My doctor Dr.Williams is my ENT specialist and was the surgeon as well. This was my first surgery and my nerves were initially on edge, every person on staff made my worries disappear with their kind words, helpfulness and constant measures to make me feel comfortable definetly recommend their services! I drive from Tallahassee FL to Thomasville Georgia especially for their services.

I bet if it were there loved one or even the CEO, they would have been shown respect and compassion. Archbold you should be ashamed of your treatment of patients!
