I felt totally comfortable in the space and could tell that Teresa prepares for each client to ensure the waxing process is seamless and sanitary. For my first appointment, I wanted just a brow wax. I expressed that I have been trying to grow out my brows and have been struggling to find a waxer to help me achieve my desired shape. Teresa not only listened to what I liked and did not like about my previous experiences, she also took the time to map out my face and brow lines before applying any wax to my face. This extra step may seem unnecessary to some, but I personally loved that she took her time with a very detailed approach. I think this level of attention is what has been missing with previous waxers who were just "eye-balling" wax placement for my particular face shape. It is going to take some time to get the look/growth perfect, but I trust Teresa to help me get there!

Pedicure- the lady that did mine was fantastic. She took her time with the pedicure package that I chose and made me feel comfortable even with a sprained ankle. Manicure- different lady that helped me, and the service was horrible. she didn't let me choose what package i wanted and automatically did whatever she felt the need to do. She didn't cut down my nails like I asked her to and she only filed it. She didn't ask what nail shape I wanted and did an oval shape, I told her I wanted square shape and she was rude about it and rushed through the filing leaving the nails uneven. As for the polishing she did only 2 coats and didn't even fully polish my entire nail. She left so many air bubbles as well. I kid you not, my nail gel manicure was done in about 10 mins or possibly even less. All in all, I don't think I will be coming back here. There is only 3 ladies working in this salon and they had appointments and made them wait over 30 mins to be seated at the pedicure/nail station.

Sabai Beauty & Wellness is a suite that is located in Sola Salon which is a business full of suites for hair and skin care. It is by appointment only. There is a sign on the door that asks you to text/call your salon person to come open the locked door for you to enter. Karin is a one woman business. She made me feel instantly comfortable and was extremely gentle and kind. We got to know each other just a tad while she worked on my facial. I can tell she really enjoys what she does and has been doing this for over a decade. If you are debating like me forever to try a diamond microdermabrasion facial, don't debate it, just do it! My appointment lasted one hour and my face feels lighter. I can't wait to come back again next month and see what regular facials can do to my face! :P Please support your local businesses if you can. They need to recover from the pandemic. I would love to see Karin thriving and busy. She so deserves it!

I got a French tip design, which looked really pretty at first, but unfortunately it chipped the very next day. I had two technicians--one for my pedicure and one for my manicure. During my pedicure, my cuticles were trimmed without being discussed beforehand, so I assumed it was part of the service. In my experience, cuticle care is usually included in a manicure or at least clearly communicated before the service is done, so this caught me off guard. I don't want to be too harsh because they were kind and did try to make things right, but I do think there's room for improvement when it comes to communication, consistency, and the overall durability and finish of the nails. This is a long overdue review...I've been seeing Melanie since she opened Berriez. First, I love the atmosphere. Its warm, inviting and just makes me feel like I'm going to spoil myself a bit...which I fully deserve every now and again. Melanie is the only authorized waxer for me. She has a way of just making it not so bad. Let's be honest, having the hair ripped from your body is not the same as a facial. She'll be the first to tell you that I'm a wussy when it comes to being waxed (I wince a lot and complain when the tweazers make their appearance), but, I've had it done elsewhere, in a shi shi Los Gatos Spa and they have nothing on Mel!!! She makes it less painful and is a perfectionist! I hardly feel the need to look in the mirror when she's done with my brows, she leans back staring at them and smiles and says "oh...I'm really happy with your brows!" Then flashes that big, dimpley smile of hers!! Facial...hmmmm, the best. Matter of fact, gonna stop writing this so I can book one. read more

Absolutely amazing! Had an appt with Michelle for sugaring. This was my first sugaring appt ever and I was so super nervous! As soon as I met with Michelle she instantly put me at ease. She is great at distracting you and making you feel comfortable. I had absolutely no issues with her being up in my knooks and crannies! The facility was cozy and clean! Welcoming and comfortable! Communication is a breeze - booked my appt online and got a confirmation txt the day before. Booked my next appt while I was there. Michelle is truly wonderful - and yes I've only had one appt with her so far but finding someone you are comfortable with is so rare - especially for these types of services.
