I was in the area looking for a light lunch, and Berry Fresh Cafe was exactly what I was craving. Family-owned and operated, Berry Fresh Cafe opened its first location in Port St. Lucie in 2009 and has since expanded with additional locations in Jupiter, Stuart, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach. Founder Tim Timoteo chose the name Berry Fresh because berries are synonymous with healthy eating, and his vision was to serve fresh, farm to table food in a welcoming atmosphere. With more than 50 years of restaurant experience, Tim built the business around quality food, reasonable prices, hospitality, and service with a smile. His son, Mitch, soon joined the family business as they expanded into Stuart and Jupiter, eventually becoming Director of Operations in 2018. After Tim retired, Mitch took over as CEO and Head Berry, a role he continues today. Regulars might still spot him taking orders at the counter or helping in the kitchen. Sadly, Tim passed away in 2023, but Mitch continues to honor his father's legacy while growing the restaurant into the local favorite it has become. The restaurant is bright, clean, and inviting, with a spacious main dining room and a smaller adjoining room featuring a bar along one wall. They also have outdoor patio seating in front. I've wanted to visit for quite some time, but their 2:30 p.m. closing time never seemed to fit my schedule. Berry Fresh intentionally focuses only on breakfast and lunch, embracing the philosophy that less is more. The menu, originally designed by Tim alongside the restaurant's chef, centers on fresh, made-from-scratch dishes that change with the seasons. Whenever possible, ingredients are sourced from regional farms, including peaches and heirloom tomatoes from Georgia and strawberries from Plant City, Florida. The menu has breakfast on one side and lunch on the other. Tim's personal favorites were the stuffed French toast and pancakes, both of which are still served today. I appreciated their weekday lunch specials, which let you pair a soup or salad with either another salad or half of a sandwich. I ordered the half BLT with the Bistro Salad, and it was exactly what I wanted, light, fresh, and full of flavor. Of course, I couldn't leave without trying their signature Very Berry Lemonade, and it hit the spot on this scorching day. It was refreshing, fruity, and the perfect partner to lunch. I have been to the Berry Fresh Cafe in Jupiter a lot growing up and met my family here for breakfast. It's a big space in a nice plaza. We sat at a booth and our waiter was nice. I ordered the egg with potatoes and toast, and it was fine, not anything great. Also this location didn't seem to have as much charm as the Jupiter one, not sure how to describe it. This was my first visit to Berry Fresh. The restaurant is really cute and much larger inside than I expected. We chose to sit indoors since it was just too hot to eat outside. Unfortunately, after being seated, no one came by for about 10 minutes to greet us or take our order. Thankfully, a server who was taking care of a nearby table noticed we'd been overlooked and kindly stopped to take our drink order. I ordered a mocha latte, but what I received wasn't really a mocha latte. I drank it anyway, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Once we placed our food order, it arrived in about 20-30 minutes, which was reasonable. The food itself was okay--not bad, but nothing that really stood out or made me eager to come back. One thing I'd like to mention for future guests: the restaurant automatically included an 18% gratuity on the bill. I didn't notice it until after I had already added an additional 20% tip, so be sure to double-check your receipt before paying. Overall, it was an average experience. This was my second time at this location and it was another great experience. My brother and I returned for brunch today. He ordered the hot honey chicken Caesar wrap with fries which I highly recommend. Their French fries are hand cut and not frozen. My brother was kind enough to allow me to take the first bite and YUMMMMO! In typical fashion, I ordered the big breakfast with a hot coffee. They temporarily changed the chicken sausage so if you too opt for chicken sausage and are a regular, don't be alarmed when you receive sausage that looks like pork. Deann was our server and she stated they'll be going back to the OG sausage. She did a phenomenal job taking care of us. She didn't skip a beat with refills and anticipated our needs before we even had to request anything. I'm a fan of well done scrambled eggs and mine were cooked to absolute perfection. I'm such a big fan of breakfast and knew I had to check out berry fresh cafe in PBG after visiting the Jupiter location multiple times. We were able to reserve our place in line for a table online and were immediately seated upon arrival but it was refreshing to see they had water and coffee for patrons waiting for a table. We were ready to order some French toast after seeing great reviews about it and they came out super flavorful with fresh fruit. The server always had a smile on their face and was willing to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our breakfast meals as well and almost finished the plate clean. Always a good breakfast! It was Eater Sunday and thankfully there was not much of a wait for a table. The have both indoor and outdoor seating options with a nice diner type atmosphere. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside. our waitress was super sweet as soon as we sat she got our drink orders in. Told us about the easter specials which my friend took advantage of it was 2 lump crab cakes benedict and I had the OMG corned beef hash. Everything was yummy minus the potatoes were a tad burnt but not all just the smaller pieces. I still enjoyed them with some hot sauce and ketchup. This was a huge disappointment. For starters, we were sat in a booth close to the bar. I could see the front door but noticed something pretty odd, it was the tv showing all cameras in the store. Almost like they wanted to know they were watching you. It was very odd to have the camera in my face as I was eating. Secondly, we could hear the manager discussing with the staff how the day should be, about add ons and such. Basically things that the staff need to do to make them do better. I ordered the Bloody Mary flight, it was okay, all of them tasted like pickle, which I'm not really a fan of at all. I got the OMG homemade corned beef hash, it wasn't the best either. I know a majority of my group didn't really enjoy their food too much. A few of us got the mimosa flight, which we all thought was pretty good. I recently visited Berry Fresh Café in Palm Beach Gardens Florida for Sunday Brunch and was awesome!! Located just east of Federal Highway in the Oakbrook Square Shopping Center. We ordered the Berrylicious Mimosa Flight and loved them!! Four different types of mimosas with the strawberry mango being my favorite. My partner also had the Tito's Bloody Mary and remarked that is was extremely tasty. The brunch menu offered a great variety of food to choose from and we decided to have the stuffed tomato duo salad which was fantastic!!! The menu also offered great choices for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free selections. The wait staff was friendly, and they were hustling, however as busy as they were the overall service was still warm and efficient. I love supporting Family Owned Businesses and I understand they been operational since 2009 with another location opening later this year West Palm Beach. They even have a general store where you can take home their homemade jams, apple butter and spicy hot sauce. I bought a jar of their apple butter, yummy!! Two eggs, Swiss cheese, apple cider bacon, arugula, avocado, grilled tomatoes, and homemade berry jam on a toasted brioche bun. Wow! It was delicious, except that it wasn't hot enough. Maybe it was the cold avocado that was to blame, but I really would have liked it hotter. I still finished all the inside and most of the roll. My sister had the Irish Benedict, which was corned beef hash with eggs and house-made Hollandaise. They have some pretty cool items I'd love to try on another visit: Captain Crunch French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes, loaded potato pancake with eggs, chicken and biscuit omelet, and a Nova omelet. I have never been here before but thanks to Yelp, I found it. Let me say how blown away I was. I am already planning on what I am getting the next time I come. When I walked up I was able to put my name on the waitlist via their kiosk that was linked with Yelp. So I was able to track my wait time and where I stood in the queue. For future reference, you can add yourself to the waitlist via Yelp before you are actually there. Less than a 20 minute wait we walked into the restaurant that looked like I walked into my southern grandmas house. I loved the decor, the set up of the bar and how it was just lively colored. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive to our table. I highly recommend the captain crunch French toast. It's a huge portion that was so delicious. I saw another review of someone complaining about the service fee... that 18% is the tip. I think it's great that the owners want to make sure that their employees are able to make a living to keep them at their restaurant. Didn't bother me paying the 18%. I was shocked at how many drink options they had, I couldn't make up my mind so of course I ordered the mimosa flight. The flavors were ok original, beet, berry, and peach. They were mini but packed with champagne. The berry flavor was my favorite. They also offer a megamosa which is 22 ounces - wow! FYI, if you are pescatarian they only have two shrimp options and of course veggie options. I was sadden to see they didn't offer any turkey bacon or sausage. The menu has a wide variety of options from breakfast and lunch that's served all day long. The prices are very reasonable, we got a decent amount of food and the bill came to like $70, which included a 18% service fee. Server Christine was very accommodating and friendly. Our food and drinks came out fast. This place sits in a Publix parking lot so it's plenty of parking. I can imagine when it's busy you have a bit of a walk though.
