I spoke with an employee by the name of Keyshawna and she told me that she did make the order because yesterday was so busy that they didn't see the updated cancelation until the end of the day. I do not think it's fair for me to be penalized because you all did not see the update in order status. I am asking that I either receive a full refund or receive the product that has already been paid for. I have already contacted Uber eats and they said there is nothing they can do so I am reaching out to you all for support. My wife and her family are Brazilian and absolutely love açaí, and this spot is much closer to our house than where we usually go. The prices were also cheaper, so I thought it was worth a shot. Unfortunately, after buying five bowls, it became very clear why the prices are lower. Everyone agreed the açaí tasted watered down and lacking flavor. If you're used to real, rich, authentic açaí, this just doesn't hit the mark. For a place literally called Açaí Bowl, the most important thing--the açaí itself--was a letdown. We won't be coming back, but I will say that it has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Maybe the other items are good but I personally wouldn't waste my money to find out. The inside appearance and staff are the only reason why I gave three stars otherwise it would've been less.

The "Open" sign was on, there were several people inside, and I could clearly see workers as well as customers. However, no one opened the door, and I was simply told they were closed. If the business was temporarily closed or not accepting orders, that should have been communicated by turning off the open sign or posting a notice on the door. Wasting customers' time like this is frustrating and unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and keep their posted hours accurate.
