When we moved to Georgetown, I spent a lot of time reading reviews and even visiting dental offices before deciding which one I thought would make my dental visits less dreaded. My husband had already chosen a dental practice he thought would be good so I agreed to get my teeth cleaned there. The practice he chose had not been at the very top of my list but had been acceptable. Just my interaction with the hygienist assigned to me on my first visit was enough for me to know this was not the practice for me When I explained about my previous painful experiences and my apprehension about even having my teeth cleaned, her response was, "Well, this IS a dental practice. EVERYthing is going to be uncomfortable." I decided not to proceed with the appointment and left. I went back to the research I had done. RR Dentistry had lots of very good reviews and their web site emphasized "patient comfort" so that was where I chose to make an appointment. It was the right decision. I could not be happier with my choice. Every member of their staff from the New Patient Coordinator (Susie) to the dentist (Dr. Cory Roach) to his assistant (Lisa) was both friendly and competent . Everyone put me at ease. Dr. Roach was thorough and gentle as he performed an extensive examination of my teeth and mouth. His assistant (Lisa) was also very kind and compassionate. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth (Pam) did so with zero pain. I feel much better about future appointments now that I have found a dental practice whose staff truly is concerned with patient comfort as well as excellent dental care.

I would avoid this place unless you have no other options. There is a general sense of…read moremiscommunication between the staff themselves so every visit is extremely inconsistent in terms of the procedure, billing, and next steps. I have never been to a dental office where the technical staff greeting you doesn't know what procedure you're actually getting and starts communicating something else completely, and this has been multiple times. You constantly need to be your own advocate each visit to make sure they do not take advantage of you. One example is that I was misled in pricing for a procedure after talking to multiple staff and providing insurance information and signing off on it. On the day of the actual procedure another staff member then told me it's 1,000 cheaper than what was expecting. Apparently no one bothered to apply insurance benefits until the morning of. I give them the benefit of the doubt but I honestly feel cannot recommend this place. They are also constantly booked so follow up appointments will always be pushed back due to scheduling. They are blessed to be in the location that they are but they unfortunately do not respectfully serve the community and give customers the care and treatment they deserve. Also bed side manner is simply not there, generally patients asking a question or clarification is a huge inconvenience for the dentist.

I underwent a periodontal procedure here that was one of the most traumatic healthcare experiences I have ever had. Throughout the procedure, I was visibly in pain, crying, and experiencing significant anxiety. Despite repeatedly expressing my discomfort, I felt that my pain was not adequately addressed, and the procedure continued. During treatment, I was told I was causing the provider to fall behind schedule because I was struggling to remain still. I was also reprimanded for breathing through my mouth and told I was exposing the dental team to nitrous oxide. Near the end of the procedure, I was warned that if I moved, a "very large needle" could go somewhere it should not, which only increased my fear while I was already distressed. I also sustained an injury to my tongue during the procedure. Following treatment, I experienced ongoing jaw and ear pain and never received a follow-up call from the office to check on my recovery. I brought my concerns to the practice and requested that they review what had occurred. I also disputed the charges with CareCredit, which ultimately reversed the charges after reviewing the documentation I submitted. Despite knowing the details of my experience and despite my ongoing concerns, the practice has continued to support the provider involved and has now referred the disputed balance to a collection agency. Instead of working with me to resolve what I believe were legitimate concerns about my care, I have been left to defend myself while continuing to deal with the physical and emotional effects of this experience. Patients deserve to be treated with compassion, respect, and appropriate pain management--especially during surgical procedures. Based on my experience, I did not receive that level of care.

I wish I had looked more into it. We had been told by pediatric dentists what she would need eventually, and so I just trusted that a well reviewed practice would know their stuff. Her results look....ok. But her teeth are ruined forever and there's nothing I can do. I don't even care about being out nearly $5k. I just wish they had warned of the long term consequences.

They have beautiful people and photos and so many 5 star reviews that most would be wowed by, and this tactic does work, but their dentistry does not! I initially went in because of some pain I was having on a lower back tooth. I was told I needed 2 back crowns. I ended up paying $5000.00 for the crowns and a root canal on a front tooth. The crowns both broke within a month. They make their own crowns in house , so I asked them to please have them made out in a facility. It took quite a while to get them back, but after the new crowns were in they never felt like they fit right. I had pain and discomfort when chewing, I went back and forth for a year, for them to try to get them to fit right. Being so frustrated with this process I finally went to another dentist to see what could be done. When they cleaned my teeth one of the crowns fell off again, and that is when they noticed that this tooth was actually to small for a crown and needed to be pulled. So long story short I paid all this money and time for something that was done incorrectly by the staff at Aesthetic Dentistry of Georgetown. I would never go here again or recommend them: they take your money and leave you hurting, they just do not care.

My old dentist of 4 years, started having issues with my Dental insurance ("Boo" Delta Dental) so we had to find another dentist real quick. Then we remembered that a new dental office was just built about a mile away. We check out the doctors, their educational backgrounds and the client reviews. We were happy with the information we received about Dr. Renken and his dental team. Upon my initial appointment inquiry, I was sent a link to gather extensive information regarding my medical history. I can respect this as your doctor doesn't know anything about you unless you tell them. My Hygienist was very friendly, she gave me a lot of pointers regarding dental maintenance and cleaning tips around my retainer. Dr. Josh Rankin examined me. Very attentive and personal. They asked a lot of questions about me. Which I thought was very important. Like I said, they only know what you tell them. Overall it was a wonderful experience, considering it was a dental office. All of the amenities are there, Tv, headphones and such. They will truly make you feel more comfortable about visiting your dentist. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

Was told they only issue checks once a month, but I called in late April, so it took 4 check issuances to send a check. May find another practice that cares more about their patients money. BTW, they now charge 3% if you charge to a credit card, so yes they accept credit cards, but with a ding.
