You were told originally I had to leave by 4 when I called you to see why no one had showed up. Not go to work but to leave. I had taken off work to wait on the tech. It was just after 3 pm at the time of that conversation and it would take approximately 20 minutes to get to me. So it would not have been done before I had to leave. I wasn't risking having it taken apart then having to leave with it apart because I wasn't risking not going to be back for several hours. Price wise you stated nothing originally about a discount nor explained diag fees and etc. You were told up front make model and I had the part. I asked how long and how much. You replied with how long and price. Which is very comparable to others. Honestly it was a hair cheaper. 9 bucks cheaper with NO discounts from the other companies that quoted me. Yes he is correct I believe in my google reviews. Because thats all he can find under that name. Im not leaving a 5 star review for anyone because they answered the phone or did the job requested as they should. Now issues, or going above and beyond then yes I will leave a review. And again he did offer to pull a tech. He did state he would do that. However that was after our initial conversation and I told him I would have to find someone else because I couldn't wait. He called me back to tell me that. By then the timing was not going to happen and I definitely did not want a rush job. And as I stated before he nor the girl was rude in any way. I do believe he was professional in handling himself over the phone. ORIGINAL POST Does not schedule or communicate with clients well. Appt for 2pm. I had to leave by 430pm. Was told not a problem and will be done by then. Took off work half a day to wait. No show at time scheduled. Made contact 1 hr later after waiting on hold to be told tech is behind. No communication to inform me. Get told he can be there by 330. When setting up appointment I was told 2 hours and it would be done. Offers 20$ off to reschedule. Already lost 4hrs work to loose another 4 hours work to see if they show up again. 8 hrs for 20$. Insulting. Do not recommend using this company.

However, the dishwasher started leaking again within 24 hours and I called Kevin Back and asked him to please come back out because it was leaking again. He literally stood me up no less than 5 times. He would say he was going to be there Monday - then wouldn't not show and not even call. My text would go ignored for 24 hours. Totally ghosted. This little game has been going on a couple of weeks now. Even so, I still tried to give him the benefit of the doubt that he would eventually keep his word to me. But he never did!!! He said he was coming Wednesday Nov. 25 at noon, and of course, was a no show/no call. I'm done. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but in this case, I am out $189 dollars. All he did was change a hose. I had told him that the dishwasher was leaking during the 2nd cycle, but it clearly wasn't checked. Some of $189 charge was for florescent lightbulbs, but my kitchen has an electrical issue so that was for nothing as well. I feel so disrespected and like a cruel joke has been played on me. My husband is out of town right now, & now we have had a major death in the family. There is no guarantee that you will get any kind of customer service help from them. You can't even make a phone call to them unless you are a member. When I called Mr. Steward, he was familiar with the problem and sent out Jason, a former Sears appliance repairman. Jason pulled out the damaged part and spent some time trying to find a replacement part. He was finally able to locate a repair business in Austin that rebuilt the part plus a 2-year guarantee. Jason returned and replaced the refurbished part, and the oven works like new. As a new oven would cost several thousand dollars, I was pleased with the cost and the great service. Mr. Steward also gives first responders, Veterans and the military a 10% discount. I highly recommend Steward Appliance repair and will use them in the future if needed. Lanny Brown

My wife just got a text reminding her of our scheduled appointment today and that there will be a diagnoses fee and service fee. Do not use these people for house calls . I have been dealing with them for several weeks now , this is ridiculous .

We moved the dryer from the garage back into the laundry room for them to fix and they had to order a part. They show up unannounced with a part. I am not even home during business hours but happen to be that day. So we then again moved the dryer back to the laundry room for them to fix and they still couldn't fix it and said they need to order another part. Didn't hear from them in WEEKS and they said they couldn't fix it because it was in the garage when really they just didn't know how to fix it and now GE can't get in touch with them.
