Biscuits and bacon gravy were to die for!!! sooo delicious!

Food is yummy and it def has the mom and pop feeling. So yummy, they were very busy for breakfast/brunch so I assume it's popular!! Our server was new and still learning menu but otherwise everything was good. The coffee cups had silly sayings and seemed like something you would have in your own cabinets at home.

We tried to go there. Online it said they were open until 2pm. We arrived at 12:30 and there was a handwritten note saying they were closing early at 1:00... but their doors were already locked. I'm sure it is probably a decent place but we couldn't know...

Loacal breakfast spot, serving since 1929. I got the eggs Benedict aka Eggs Brit... their take on eggs Benedict, with Swiss cheese bacon and spinach on an English muffin and a side of sausage links. The hash browns were perfectly cooked, everything was actually. It was packed, no social distancing and masks were not enforced. It is a small place, so it would be difficult to social distance and make a profit for the day. I feel for small buis, glad I got the take out. So good! The staff did wear masks and gloves, very clean. I did get odd looks when I walked in with a mask... but that seemed to be the case throughout Utah.

Nice homely spot to go and grab a bite to eat. We went for breakfast and tried the Eggs Britt (hollandaise, bacon, English muffin, poached eggs, spinach) served with hash browns, also tried a regular breakfast (eggs cooked to order, bacon, hash browns). We each had coffee and water as well. Both dishes hit the spot and had us full- thanks to the large portions. Our waitress/server was Britt and she was amazing. Britt was very attentive to our large party, genuinely sweet, and just a great encounter while eating at Berts.

I have never been to Berts but I own a business close by so I figured it was time I finally stopped in and tried the food and coffee! I was hoping for a strong cup of Joe because I need all the caffeine I can get, I was disappointed when I realized how watered down the coffee was! I used one half and half and the coffee turned white instantly. The food however was AWESOME! I tried a skillet- the potatoes are PERFECTION, the mickey pancakes on the kids meal was so cute and my toddler ate nearly all of it! I will most likely be back but I'll make sure to drink coffee from home when I do!

Take me back to Main Street USA! Great family run Diner where the locals are regulars, and out-of-towners still feel at home. Good food, huge portions and friendly service.

Arrived at Bert's and was welcomed with a smile. The woman behind the counter said I could be seated anywhere. I chose a booth toward the back. Instantly I felt like I was decades back. It was 1130, so there are a few customers, but got pretty busy closer to noon. The woman who sat me recommend the burgers. She said that's what they are know for and recommended three in particular. I picked the Chipotle Burger and tots. My order was made super fast. The burger was delicious. It Patty was cooked just right. The in cooked jalapenos definitely make it spicy. I really liked the chiotle mayo that came on it. Everything was going great until I started watching the cooks in the back. One gal was cooking and preparing food without gloves... After grabbing some food off the counter her hand went up to her face several times to whipe her nose. Then back to the food. That was it. I was done. FYI. The ranch is fantastic.

This place is magnificent. We drove down I-15 to stop here for breakfast. Feels like this is the heart and soul of American breakfast. Delivered with a smile and outstanding service. Food tastes excellent. Family run business that stands out!!

Very good breakfast. The price is higher than one $ but worth the extra for a good breakfast. I love local Cafe's.

On the first day of 2026, my wife and I decided to venture out and try something new…read more A random recommendation from YELP popped up on her phone. Keeping with a couple criteria, an untried venue, check! Food, (most importantly) check! and nearby, check! We decided to throw on some foot covers and head out the door. A quick jaunt and we'd arrived. Super easy to find even though it isn't street facing. Expecting it to be bustling with NYE recovery folks, we were surprised to find a quiet establishment that had two other patrons. Quickly I grabbed up a menu and we were immediately greeted with a friendly "Good Morning" from a very energetic and enjoyable young man. We sat and perused the menu. Talking over what we wanted vs what we should have. It took less time to make our decision for our order than most food stops in our past. I ordered the Mortician with Pepper Jack instead of the American Cheese it was paired with. Our order taker guy, (also the energetic greeter) inquired if I wanted to make it a double. I answered to the affirmative, (with a sheepish smile on my face). My wife conservatively ordered the Thursday Special, consisting of the Morty's Iconic Cheeseburger and fries. After paying and sitting down, our once greeter/order taker now waiter guy appeared with a large bottle of pour-it-yourself Fry Sauce and a handful of napkins. I looked over the sauce and quickly realized I hadn't ordered the Onion Rings that I wanted to try. I quickly mentioned to our greeter/order taker/waiter guy before he disappeared behind the kitchen doors that I needed the onion rings. With a smile and a thumbs up he said, I gotchu. I asked if there was a separate charge and stood up to pay. He quickly interrupted my advancement with an outstretched hand and a more pronounced, I Got You. This, of course was not my intention to get free stuffs but I was pleased just the same. My wife quickly grabbed some loose cash from her purse and added it to their tip jar. Thanks Babe! Once again you show me one of the many reasons for my affection toward you! We sat and did some chit-chat, continuing conversations from earlier that day. Sooner than expected, our food shows up, piled high and filling the plates with our side orders, (see photos). I literally had to take off the onion rings that were part of the sandwich makeup to even consider the possibility of moving the Mortician into my mouth, (TWSS! ...if you know, you know). Im finding this experience difficult to put into words. So, I'll sum it up. Delicious and juicy and fantastic! For once, outside of a homegrown burger, I'm able to enjoy the separate flavorings of Bacon, Beef, (which I think is marinated), the jalapeño and the pastrami as well as the aioli. After a quick drink to cleanse my palette, I grabbed up an Onion Ring. I paused to reflect on my existence and quietly muttered, this is really good! Crispy beyond any previous onion ring order from any of the, what could be hundreds of orders of rings during my 59 years, and delicious. I savored every bite, licked my fingers, and made happy "mmm mmm" sounds as I partook of this fine deliciousness. We finished everything! Talked about how this particular Morty's has now been labeled a family staple. Our experience is not just made up from the delicious food, friendly atmosphere, free onion rings, and did I mention the delicious food?, no. It's all of these as a whole, bigger experience, making it a unique and favorite beginning to a new year. Thanks to you, Morty's and our favorite greeter/order taker/waiter/I gotchu guy, we both are still smiling from our visit. Thank you for the excellent experience. We are looking forward to our next visit!

This was a tasty local diner! The fries were truly fantastic!! My adult son loved his burger!…read more I was excited that I could choose a burger 'n' fixins option but then sub the burger out for grilled chicken...then was disappointed. The chicken was quite dry. Service was friendly and prompt!
