It was the corner one with the big window. My pup loved being outside and it was the perfect spot for him, he stared outside the window into nature. They gave us a whole cart of treats to give to him and the doctor and staff was so kind and compassionate. The staff from the very first time we walked in to the time I was called to pick his ashes up was absolutely amazing. It was the only time they truly saw him and it felt like they had cared for him so many times before. I couldn't of ask for a better place and staff to have my dog cared for. They were so kind to us and even complimented on how good he was but that was his demeanor, he was always kind and sweet. Thank you Scottsdale animal Hospital! It was insensitive, unprofessional, and lacked basic empathy and compassion. After this experience, I stopped bringing my dog here. She had her surgery at Thrive Pet Healthcare in North Scottsdale, where I had an incredible experience with every individual who worked there. Dr Radlinsky took her time with my dog, even sitting on the ground with her during her consultation. The difference in compassion and care was striking. I would never trust my dog with this practice again. I strongly recommend bringing your dog elsewhere.

We had a virtual urgent care call and they were concerned enough that we brought him into The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic to check in on him. After an ultrasound, they found that he had a mass on his spleen and was internally bleeding, and had to go into immediate overnight emergency surgery. The surgery was successful, and after a 36 hour hospital stay, Barkley is back home and on the mend. While this was such a scary experience and few days, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic and their team. They are open 24/7/365, and provided around the clock care. Because of the length of his stay, we worked with and spoke to multiple of their veterinarians and assistants (thank you to Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Fleming, Dr. Goldberg, and Dr. Blackmon), and everyone was so kind, attentive, and caring through every step of the process, gave us calls throughout the night with updates and over the past few days to check in on Barkley's progress, and were so compassionate in all of the care they provided. I feel like they just assumed that I would know stuff about insulin, but people need to remember that not everyone knows about the things that they encounter daily. They never followed up or gave any advice on gradually increasing it. I'm pretty devastated and blaming myself because I gave him the dose. If anyone who works there reads this, I hope you just keep in mind that some of us who come in have no idea about these medications and need guidance. They knew he wasn't eating and they should've known this would happen.

Extreme incompetence in how my cat was handled during her follow-up treatment led to her having a muzzle put over her entire face while she's fully constrained. A first in my 25+ years raising and fostering cats. And none of these taking place during the first appointment with the exact same procures. A 3rd appointment was going to require a $50 gaba pen, getting her extremely high beforehand so she's "calmer". We didn't need this the first time around for that treatment, I don't think we need it now. Forking up another $50 and deflecting the blame to the client's side as a result of poor service is pathetic. The fact it's exclusively a cat clinic is what makes this so disappointing.
