We had a virtual urgent care call and they were concerned enough that we brought him into The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic to check in on him. After an ultrasound, they found that he had a mass on his spleen and was internally bleeding, and had to go into immediate overnight emergency surgery. The surgery was successful, and after a 36 hour hospital stay, Barkley is back home and on the mend. While this was such a scary experience and few days, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic and their team. They are open 24/7/365, and provided around the clock care. Because of the length of his stay, we worked with and spoke to multiple of their veterinarians and assistants (thank you to Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Fleming, Dr. Goldberg, and Dr. Blackmon), and everyone was so kind, attentive, and caring through every step of the process, gave us calls throughout the night with updates and over the past few days to check in on Barkley's progress, and were so compassionate in all of the care they provided. I will say that I am happy that I have a place to take my dog when or if he feels sick.

I feel like they just assumed that I would know stuff about insulin, but people need to remember that not everyone knows about the things that they encounter daily. They never followed up or gave any advice on gradually increasing it. I'm pretty devastated and blaming myself because I gave him the dose. If anyone who works there reads this, I hope you just keep in mind that some of us who come in have no idea about these medications and need guidance. They knew he wasn't eating and they should've known this would happen.

BUYER BEWARE! Completely left me in a lurch. had my cat already booked for boarding and they wanted…read morean intake visit. Cat is diabetic so needs a vet board. I waited over a month for this and did not make backups. then today i get an email saying they will not accept her. I took her in for the intake visit and they asked for $1000 in services. I said thats a lot considering she has a regular vet already but whatever we need to do to have her board here. then it came down to about $200 and they ageed to board her. paid and did what they asked and this is what i get. where is my refund? Vet was aggressive and barely let me get a word in.
