Run and don't walk to this new vegan cafe called Besito Coffee at Chicana Vegana LLC Same owner, same staff, same location, it just has a different menu from 8 am-12 pm Thursday to Sunday, coffee and breakfast menu. They are still at soft opening. We tried their Avo Toast, OG Breakfast Burrito, Mex Hot Chocolate, Valencia Mocha Iced Latte, and Guava Cheese Danish. They are very delicious! Owner is passionate in creating and testing these coffee drinks and breakfast menu. We are just so happy that there is finally a place opens early enough for vegan breakfast in OC! We will definitely be back.

If I could give them a million stars I would. Their food is SO DANK. I'm obsessed with their avocado toast with those dam pickled onions :)!!!! I am not an onion person at all unless it's green onions but I am into onions more now because of their pickled onions they sprinkle on their avo toast. It's DIVINE. Chefs kiss maxing. Their lattes are also SO good. I am not a huge coffee drinker but this stuff is literal crack. I cannot stop spending my money here because of how delicious and well put together everything is. Their customer service is amazing too. I love their desserts as well. Especially the lemon blueberry parfait. SOOOOO freekin good. The cherry vanilla latte is my fav latte BUT the others are equally just as delicious. I hope they NEVER shut down. PLEASE SUPPORT FULLY VEGAN BUSINESSES. They deserve all the love and respect AND they love and respect our animal friends too. Much love

This all vegan spot just leveled up, they're now serving coffee and breakfast, and it's seriously delicious. Whether you're vegan or not, you will love this place. My husband and I tried the French toast with spicy chicken and the breakfast burrito, and both were a solid 5/5. We also had the bananamel and the Spanish latte again, absolutely amazing, another 5/5. On top of the great food and drinks, the staff is super attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

So exciting to have some amazing vegan breakfast options! Everything was really good - the chai, the pancakes, the tots, and the biscuits and gravy... literally everything was so good. It's nice they have kid friendly options too (including being able to get the pink icing cookie Chicana sells even during Besito hours)

Came here on a weeknight for dinner and it was not busy. There are a lot of tables inside with a stage towards the front for live music. The space is light on decor with exception of the walls which had images of lion dancers and other things. Food is ordered at the front and brought to the table when ready. We got the Crispy Oyster Mushrooms and the Eggplant Tofu. The Crispy Oyster Mushrooms came in a portion size that was larger than we expected. They tasted like the Salt and Pepper Squid dish that my family gets from Chinese restaurants which we really like. However, the breading was heavy and a lot of the pieces at the bottom were oily. The Eggplant Tofu was solid. Both the Eggplant and tofu were cooked well and had a nice savory sauce. This dish came with rice on the side. Overall, giving Vegan District Asian Eatery a 4/5. The space is clean and spacious and the staff are nice. The flavors of the food are good. Would recommend to anyone looking for vegan Asian food and would come back to try other things on the menu.

Waffles were deliciously nice and crispy but soft once biting into it. Loved them! The churro waffle had perfect amount of sugar cinnamon and we ordered the banana foster with caramel on the side. So delish!! The tortas were good also. The carne asada one came with pieces of carne and they were a little tough to chew. We ordered the iced cafe de olla. Sorry to say I tasted better. It tasted like day old coffee. Overall, I would return to try more plates. Med sized Parking is in the back and shared with other businesses so it can be busy.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. The ordering process is done at a kiosk in the front, which gives it more of a fast-food vibe than a café. That's fine but even with that setup I would expect some level of hospitality. After our food was brought to the table, no one checked on us, offered drink refills, or asked if we needed anything. When we were ready to leave, we had to get up ourselves to find takeout containers and bags. Good service can make a meal feel special but poor service can have the opposite effect, I don't see myself returning to Cafe Cultura.

Chicana I wanna... eat more lol…read more My gf is vegetarian and they have all vegan foods which makes my life so much easier bc I am an omnivore so it's a good plant-based alternative for me. My favorite is the mexigogi taco bc the sauce and the way they cook their "meat" didn't make me feel like I knew I was eating vegan food. They have burritos, burgers, fries, nachos, and tacos with some dessert options. I'm glad there's a Mexican food place for vegetarians bc I feel bad they my gf has limited choices at most Mexican restaurants that don't have a good protein base. Service was quick for pick up and there's a few tables inside to eat. 10/10 would recommend.

One girl here was awesome- so nice and sweet and worked hard to keep the restaurant clean. And was sooo attentive when we had questions or needed anything. The girl taking our order was okay..not helpful as it was our first time here. I got the mexgogi burrito. I Was really excited to try a vegan Korean fusion burrito....buuuut... Was really disappointed...lacked flavor. I didn't even taste a lot of the ingredients and it was a tad dry. The green salsa they serve on the side helped give it some flavor. The bulgogi was tasty but since the pieces were so small, the bland rice and beans took over. Total bummer. I did taste the jalapeño but not a ton of siracha eel sauce or cucumbers. (I forgot cucumbers were even in it...) Seats aren't all that comfy...soo prolly best to get it to go. If give it another shot...just order something else.

I got a seat with a bit of sunlight coming in from the window and that felt like the perfect touch. Avery is so kind. She immediately mentioned the Soup of the Day and the blend for the herb water and I knew I had to get both! They rotate both out every single day depending on what they have on hand, which is a great indicator that they source their ingredients fresh. The soup was puréed eggplant with a coconut milk or cream base and it was the creamiest eggplant dish I'd ever had in my life. Very smooth, no seeds. I didn't even know eggplant could get to that consistency. It's a beautiful soup and I would come back just for that. Arabic tea was not as strong as I'd had in other restaurants but for a nice dining place like this, I think it's good that it wasn't so bitter. Maybe it's also because I dunked a whole packet of honey in mine beforehand Beef stew was great. There were only a few beef chunks but if you're a fan of the vegetable you're choosing (I love zucchini so that worked out well for me), then it's a perfect portion for one. I can't believe I've just been passing this gem behind for so long! Will definitely come back with some company next time around.
