The space is light on decor with exception of the walls which had images of lion dancers and other things. Food is ordered at the front and brought to the table when ready. We got the Crispy Oyster Mushrooms and the Eggplant Tofu. The Crispy Oyster Mushrooms came in a portion size that was larger than we expected. They tasted like the Salt and Pepper Squid dish that my family gets from Chinese restaurants which we really like. However, the breading was heavy and a lot of the pieces at the bottom were oily. The Eggplant Tofu was solid. Both the Eggplant and tofu were cooked well and had a nice savory sauce. This dish came with rice on the side. Overall, giving Vegan District Asian Eatery a 4/5.
